I booked jio Air fiber but enginners are still not here and the installation date has also passed.
the unused extra device is extender. iska matlab tumhare antenna se kisi aur ko bhi internet connection diya jayega, tab antenna se cable iss box mein jayega aur fir iss box se sabko connection diya jayega. but dont worry speed mein kuchh fark nahi padega, iss extender/hub/switch jo bhi keh lo, iski max bandwidth 1000Mbps hai. aur maximum log 30 Mbps ka connection lete hain.

Hi, I also recently took 100mbps plan but whenever there is downlink like when you are doing a Speedtest or downloading or data intensive the router produces a small hissing sound have you observed that ? If you stay close to the router you can hear a hissing sound , is it the same for you as well??
Strange! Need to check. But as these all equipments are owned by Jio they should provide lifetime replacement warranty I believe.

OR you can connect your wifi with your TP Link modem too, The reason I am asking that people saying you can move the Jio setup box to another network , is it right that you can watch tv with jio setbox with any wifi and anywhere in India?

i too leave in pune, loghagaon area. here too local net provider creates a problem, they do not allow big isp into the area. and local wala costly bhi ha aur net frequently disrupt rahta ha. i too gone for airfiber, but data is 1tb that was too low . atlest jio match date with fiber broadbad 3.3tb

Bro just checked now speed is very slow I checked in ground floor closed room. I don't think it'll suffice all 3 floors. I have separate router on each floor.

I got JioFiber on the same day I posted this and only paid for the 6-month plan. I'm getting a solid 30mbps upload and download speed all day and night with no interruptions. I haven't needed to contact their customer service so I can't say anything about that. Started with the lowest plan in case of issues, but I haven't had any problems since the installation. I guess it depends on your area. once my JioFiber plan is up, I might switch to Airtel Xtream just to see how they compare in my area.
