Thanks! Hope you have many happy years of operating it. There are a few videos out there about repairing it, it's a good vintage to get stuck into with a soldering iron (I wouldn't dare with more modern radios).
There isn't a built in repeater shift function, so you will need to use the SPLIT key. This enables you to transmit on one VFO frequency while receiving on the other.

why would the track even lift like this? i dont understand? that transistor didnt look to be working some super powerful circuitry.
you transmitted with no ant? is it the cause?
