Hello brothers, This video is all about braking distance. I don't want to convey anything wrong to my viewers.Any panic situation ABS WILL BE A LIFE SAVER.
ABS doesn't lessen the braking distance, it's the opposite. A non abs bike usually stops sooner than an abs bike if the rider is skilled at braking. Abs is just a life saver during panic braking conditions. When you jam the brakes on an abs bike, u can feel pulses, the abs mechanism prevents wheel lock up and automatically releases the brake when it senses a wheel lock and this kinda increases the braking distance although providing more stability while braking. I have an rs 200 abs and once u get to know how an abs works, u can, with practice, stop an abs bike as quick as a non abs bike while also stay safe and not lock the wheels at the same time.
ABS is great for two-wheeled vehicles, and for folks who have to drive cars on ice or other slippery conditions. However, hard stopping on dry roads shows the disadvantage of ABS. When a tire is skidding, it is still stopping, but with ABS the tire rolls a short distance repeatedly reducing the friction and increasing the stopping distance. Can this make a difference? Having been a victim of this disadvantage of ABS, I can say firsthand, absolutely. I was following a smaller car at high speed in heavy traffic, at what I estimated to be a safe distance (I never tailgate). When the lighter vehicle unexpectedly slammed on his brakes, I did the same. Every time the ABS pulsed, letting the wheels rotate, my mind said, NO! Even with the rolling, I was able to almost come to a complete stop before bumping the back of the other vehicle. It was nothing more than a bump like you might have when pulling into a parking place and bumping the vehicle in the opposite space. None of the plastic on either vehicle flexed enough to even crack the paint. However, it could have been much worse. Bottom line, when driving a vehicle with ABS, allow more stopping distance than you normally would.
I'll take the fault but never let ABS choose it. those extra distance is valuable on how hard you going to bump on something. So learn to brake on your own or ABS riders pls keep distance.
Thanks for making this. People need to understand ABS doesn't mean shorter brake distances. It actually means longer brake distances if you brake incorrectly. If you are slamming the brakes and locking up the wheels the system will counter that by reducing brake pressure. This is something you can do manually by learning to brake progressively + downshift and use engine braking at the same time. Alas most of this generation will not learn this essential skill. They will just slam the brakes and have ABS come to their rescue every time.
brother, your point is right but when you are jn a panic situation the brain does not work so properly that you can do the engine brake and progressive braking in panic situation everyone will slamm the brake as much hard as they can if the road is dry then he'll be save but if It's wet or muddy,then he'll skid without abs
@@alvisiddique406 comes down to practice my friend. That's why it's called riding skill. When you practice without ABS it'll become second nature to brake correctly even in emergencies. Basically right now people learn the wrong way to brake and hence they just slam the brake and that too with the clutch pressed in during panic braking which actually makes the braking distance longer. Practice these skills till you forget how to brake incorrectly and you won't make that mistake even when panic braking. Of course it's good to have ABS and it'll help keeping the bike upright but incorrect braking technique means you don't stop in time and go straight into the car ahead of you. That's why it's important to learn and practice riding skills at all times.
abs releases ur brakes when u apply it hardly, takes more time to stop ur motorcycle whereas non abs brake stays intact when u apply it taking less time to stop!!! and if u dont know how braking works or how to apply it properly on non abs then ure fucked big time

bro compare Apache 200 dual channel abs vs NS 200 single channel abs vs FZ 25 non abs breaking test. its might be the most expected video coz everybody does comparison videos related to speed and other aspects not breaking comparison test.
Non ABS version gets normal rubber brake lines(hoses) whereas the ABS variant gets the Steel Braided lines (steel hoses, but not made of stainless steel - will rust and break over the years) But yes the Brake feel and feedback will be improved by the steel Braided lines but if ABS is aggressive then that can kill the feel.
The point of abs is to maintain control with full braking, not stopping distance. If you cannot steer who cares if you can stop sooner. It's all about control
I have rs 200 Abs and my fnd have ns 200 non abs ...we check it in all type of conditions ...my bike stops in less distance compared to ns...every time ns skids and every attempt bike is unconditional...
This is straight line, both riders Vertical-- What if Turning in a curve? Riders at an angle? Ofc Abs wins, also wet conditions, oil on road, gravel, ABS is a no brainer

abs is safelty but non abs performs a little punchier than that of abs but you can not break in mud or slippery roads with non abs i would say even if it takes a meter long the abs will save you some day or maybe alot of times
I bought ns 1 week ago ..while I riding the bike take off 2 hands the bike get automatically moved to left side ...the bike didn't move through straight lane...if there is any problem
Brother I too had Pulsar NS200 non ABS , yeah obviously it's break is absolutely good , but it doesn't mean the ABS NS isn't good , ABS works according the situations in under control , so it is worked , In manual breaking system we can beat it but we have no Clue of no crashing or sleeping of the vehicle. Basically ns200 doesn't need abs.Abs is useful only in wet conditions and bikes with higher cc.I own non abs ns200 and found non abs is better in ns200. Above 400 definitely requires Abs
Braking distance will be longer in abs in your speed and the road condition because the role of abs is to brake, release and brake again very fast so as to avoid wheel slipping and also allows you to steer while braking.If you do that again in higher speed, while cornering or in a wet, slippery road the advantage of abs will be clearly felt.Lastly the guy in the abs bike dont know how to apply brakes......or not...😲😁

Abs takes more distance to stop and they are doing it perfectly And abs is really easy to use a kid can do that u just need to press the lever as hard as u can and the abs Will do the rest but in nonabs u need skills and in abs it will take more distance to stop when it is on wet or slippery surface
NS comes in carburettor version when it comes in fuel injection then only ECU will present and it monitors the wheel speed and applies brake accordingly. RS 200 functions well on ABS
Disliking it for the bullshit brother.... In non abs you're very careful with the rear brakes. And in abs you're just slamming it... The bike doesn't have abs on the back....

Abs is not for stop the bike ASAP .abs is for avoiding to slipped & it helps for panic break .
ABS is not meant for instant break.. Its for Safe breaking so that the Break doesn't get locked (ABS- Antilock Breaking System)

NS200 ABS gets a 300mm disc and the non ABS one has a 280 mm one , bigger the disc better the stopping power should be. Surprised with the results 🤔

Bhai ABS is a safety feature not a measure of braking power.
My front disc brake is not working like before...it has weaken a bit...I only use the front to stop...
Check teh disc brake fluid and check the brake pads also
