Thanks. But if these are prepositions of place, why is in the answer for "kde?", which defines a location, not the locative used but the instrumental ? Sorry, if this is a silly question.
That would sound logical but with these particular 5 prepositions it doesn't apply. Unfortunately, in Czech we cannot determine a case by simply saying it describes a location. There are many key prepositions that go with a different case. The same woud go for e.g. _u, blízko, vedle, uprostřed,_ which go together with the genitive case, and also answer the question "kde". I know it sounds misleading but in this video I was showing the difference between the location (kde?) vs. direction (kam?).

My take away from this video. Always put myslef/things behind, above, under or between stuff/objects becuase Před is hard to pronounce.
Yes, that can be a good solution too! Are you still having trouble pronouncing "před"?
Prepositions of place but not in Locative case .This seems illogical.
I know, not everything is logical in Czech (or many other languages). Don't give up!
Všechno fajn, ale to je zajímavé, že tvůj způsob na chování peníze to je obálka a lednička.
