    Mortgages are such a difficult process in Kenya.

    Nancy, your speech at Nyumbani concepts was really good. Buy where you can afford and build from there. First home is everything. Congratulations on the developer for actually delivering on time especially this year.

    Nancy, if the homeowners can agree, could you be sharing the cost of their homes? it would be helpful to know

    If someone's gonna buy a house or apartment at the coast region, why buy far from the beach ? The only attraction in the coastal area is the beach

      I don't think that they were built for just tourism. I think that the development is targeted to the people who live and work in the coast plus normal people can't afford houses built in prime beachfront locations.

      Especially if it's an investment property

      @@maureenmwangi3858 the point is you'll have lower maintenance costs because beachfront homes need more maintenance. Plus ordinary folk just want a home.

    Imagine property developer putting up a desalination plant.... and a second biggest city in Kenya is struggling with mikokoteni water vendors sad but true

      Lack of government support especially infrastructure wise is a great contributor to the inflated property costs in Kenya.
      The developer ultimately passes on those costs to the buyers

      This sounds akin to how Coca-Cola was able to build efficient distribution routes all over the country complete with coolers/fridges to ensure a refreshing product all over the country. Yet the authorities cannot supply medicines, foods, school supplies etc with similar efficiency.

    Another scam in the making. People didn’t learn from suraya and bought off-plan into Banda homes. Here is an off-plan development and still people will sink in their money and loose it. In Kenya it’s best to buy and build for yourself

    No trees in between and looks like concrete jungle

    • @victork4700
      @victork4700 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not really. It was thousands of hectares of sisal, no trees were there and now they have houses and have planted some trees within the development. The shrubs and trees take time to grow.

    This episode 359 is nothing new. This is what Nancy showcased on Sep 6th. As a person who has been watching property show since 2011- 2012 am starting to get bored. There is simply nothing new. Just re-runs.

    • @milchshake4162

      The show is not always about shocasing new projects but also re-advertising previous properties that still want to market themselves as they are also paying for it to keep the show running. Win win situation. Its purely business not a typical t.v series show 😉
