  • We interview John Sparkes (Peppa Pig) at the premiere of A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon.
With family friendly releases such as Wallace & Gromit, The Pirates!, Early Man delighting people across the world, Aardman Animations returns to the big screen with Farmaggedon, the new Shaun the Sheep movie sequel. We were on the red carpet at the Odeon Luxe in London’s Leicester Square to talk to the voice cast and creative team behind the new film.
The film features Joe Sugg (Pizza Boy), Justin Fletcher (Shaun the Sheep), John Sparkes (Farmer, Bitzer), Amalia Vitale (Lu-La), Kate Harbour (Timmy’s Mum), Chris Morrell (Farmer John), Richard Webber (Ub-oo, Shirley), David Holt (MUGG-1N5). The film was directed by Will Becher & Richard Phelan, written by Jon Brown & Mark Burton and produced by the legend himself Nick Park.
Brent Hart and Colin Hart were on the red carpet and conducted these interviews.
Plot: Strange lights over the quiet town of Mossingham herald the arrival of a mystery visitor from far across the galaxy…
When the intergalactic visitor - an impish and adorable alien called LU-LA - crash-lands near Mossy Bottom Farm, Shaun soon sees an opportunity for alien-powered fun and adventure and sets off on a mission to shepherd LU-LA home.
Her magical alien powers, irrepressible mischief and galactic sized burps soon have the flock enchanted. Shaun takes his new extra-terrestrial friend on the road to Mossingham Forest to find her lost spaceship, unaware that a sinister alien-hunting agency is on their trail.
Can Shaun and the flock avert Farmageddon on Mossy Bottom Farm before it’s too late?

What's hilarious is this guy has done some of the most scurrilous stuff on TV, yet has now carved out a niche in kids TV. He was in a sketch show called Absolutely, absolute classic. Search for 'Absolutely Frank Hovis' to find some of his work. Also Denzil & Gwyneth. also as Barry Welsh or Hugh Pugh. Also Morwenna Banks from Peppa Pig was on Absolutely. search for 'Absolutely Little Girl'

Started out on _The Fame Game_ - a Granada talent show back in the mid-1980s - giving ballpoint pens and pedal bins unusual speaking voices as he moved them. He had the studio audience bawling with laughter. I was thinking, "Is this *really* funny?" But I recognised that he was original and different: nobody had done that before. That's why he's brilliant.
