You're not looking hard enough if you think that. There's plenty of rock/punk bands coming up in the underground (Gnarwolves, Nai Harvest, Weak Nerves to name a few), you just need to look for them.
Indie means that there is no middle man when it comes to selling the music, or any product for that matter. I doesn't affect the music, only the way it's being distributed.

It's amazing how today's world you can Tune a Bass and make it sound more towards a Lead/Rhythm Guitar and yet it's still a Bass and you play it as a Bass but with those Lead/Rhythm Tunes in the mix of that Bass.... Fucking Awesome....
+BobbyMcJunior Octave pedals. They make it sound like you are playing in higher octaves. That's why his tone is kinda weird in the leads. Overral his tone is very similar to Josh Homme's guitar tone(specialy in Kyuss and early QOTSA, when he used a bass amplifier on his guitar), but Royal Blood's suffers a little from the Octave pedals in the leads.
I love this band. They're formulated yet heavy and smooth. Smoothness attracts any listener despite of what genre they like. It all comes from the blues baby. R.I.P. Muddy Waters

Saw these guys live in Nashville, TN Dec 2014 opening for Bush and they fucking killed it. Don't know how so much awesomeness came from just the two of them, they were LOUD and it's a BASS!
My husband and I saw them in 2017 at an awesome small venue in Vancouver. Hands fucking down, it was the best show that I have ever seen!! And we just saw them again a month ago!!

I remember when this channel had under 10.000 views with only little monster and out of the black as audio-only video's. I discovered them a week after they played in my town in on a small stage and i hated myself for the fact that i didn't discover them earlier so i could see them live. Since then i've made up for it and have seen them twice now and even managed to get a setlist which is now proudly hanging on my wall. Over the course of two years they have grown extremely as a band and it's amazing to have seen their progress in such a short amount of time. This is a band i fell in love with the moment i first heard this song, and one i will love forever.

Literally am in love with song and it has got me hyped for Summer for some reason and I just listen to this and the whole album on repeat because my obsession right now. Anyone think that some of their songs are similar to the ones on the new Muse album Drones because it made me so happy to recognise the tunes because they are both influenced by eachother which makes me smile so much. Went to a QOTSA concert and this band was the opening act. They were fucking awesome and as soon as I got home I looked them up.
That sounds AMAZING OMG!! I was just watching their livestream this morning about Typhoons and someone in the comment said they also opened for the Foo's and that show sounded AMAZING too!! How come I'm missing out on all of these?? ❤️
these guys supported foo fighters on tour earlier this year, I saw them at the MK Bowl and they were excellent. a lot of presence for just 2 guys.

I remember when this channel had under 10.000 views with only little monster and out of the black as audio-only video's. I discovered them a week after they played in my town in on a small stage and i hated myself for the fact that i didn't discover them earlier so i could see them live. Since then i've made up for it and have seen them twice now and even managed to get a setlist which is now proudly hanging on my wall. Over the course of two years they have grown extremely as a band and it's amazing to have seen their progress in such a short amount of time.
This is a band i fell in love with the moment i first heard this song, and one i will love forever.
Who gives a shit if they sound like another band just enjoy the bloody music

Anyone think that some of their songs are similar to the ones on the new Muse album Drones because it made me so happy to recognise the tunes because they are both influenced by eachother which makes me smile so much.
