I believe this is 115 Eastern Avenue in East Providence. It was built in the 60s but not for WHJY, WSNE or WHJJ as those call letters/stations did not even exist when it was built. This was the home of "The Country Giant", WHIM 1110AM and WHIM 94.1FM. Stations WHJY, WSNE and WHJJ were all born in the early 80s. At that time, they moved into this building and WHIM 1110AM moved to 110 Eastern Avenue which I think was WHIM's former home in the 50s.

Jason, I just discovered your channel. Great video content!!! I worked next door at 125 Eastern Ave in the late 1980’s. 1110 WHIM-AM. For many years that small portion of land had several buildings.Sadly they have all been demolished. But the memories of radio dj’s will remain. Keep up the great work!

Damn I remember WHIM. It was a country station, right? My mom's favorite station back in the day.

I worked at WHJJ-AM news for a short spell in 1989-91. The department included John Carpilio, Barry Richard, Jack McCormack, Debbie Rich and Kathleen Burke.

It was actually built for WHIM-AM-FM.

You just got to follow through and tell us who owns the property now and how much they pay.. let me guess the state of Rhode island purchased it for $1.. due to unpaid property tax??
