As a drummer, you should check out "Nameless Warrior" : th-cam.com/video/Dl29tiJCbNM/w-d-xo.html - this is the ladies' latest track that dropped a little bit over a week ago from the same concert. Haruna is an absolute beast in this song !

I'll Second that suggestion. Haruna Destroy's with her ever perfect and Up Paced Stick and Leg Work. I really want a Haruna cam option on these DVD's/BluRay's just so I can watch her Wizardry on her Impressively populated kit. She literally lunges into that kit and unrelentingly.

    Hi there. Good reaction!
One comment. I do not know if you just mis-said or not. But, it is not Miho on the bass.
On the bass we now have Fami. This is her first big concert ever.
She is super skilled, and as you can see from her smiles, she likes it very much, being on this concert!
You also see Asami encourage here with a thumbs up and a smile when Fami had a bit of a bass solo.

What is great with this song is the bands support for the new Bass player, Fami!!! With the 2 short highlighted bass plays and the Bass solo with the thumbs up from Asami. Seeing Fami smile from ear to ear brings a big smile on my face. Just think, she turned 21 before this show and it was her first big concert in her young career and she killed it!!!

Thanks. Yeah, they are an ensemble. Each contributing with flawless precision and feel/groove. Haruna's fills & transitions with Miho (now Fami) in this song (Wacken 2018) did steady-rotation in my ears all summer 2020. LoveBitten ever since, daily. Haruna's 2 hour performance for "Heavy Metal Never Dies" is beyond EPIC! The songs don't get less challenging as they go either.
3 consecutive songs following 12 songs & 80minutes into same show as "Set The World On Fire" they give us
    with no breaks, "The Apocalypse > M.D.O. > Don't Bite The Dust" : th-cam.com/video/ttBL0Q744xA/w-d-xo.html
Subjects: being atomic-bombed > cautionary wisdom > self-empowerment, determination, positivity!
Like they played it, please. No pausing or stopping between songs either.
BE THERE for 15 minutes. It will 'educate' (change?) you & all your viewers, like few 'reactors' are willing to.

I second the request to follow this up with Nameless Warrior live. Haruna's even more impressive in that live video which is a 6min+ song that is not-stop. Cracks me up when reactors say Lovebites' drumming is 'OK' as they're obviously not listening too well. 🙂 Great reaction and hope you'll come back to them soon! Best band in metal period and you nailed it, their precision at this speed is just insane. It's been great to watch how far they've come with their hard work to get better and essentially PERFECT themselves on all fronts - guitars, bass, drums, and vocals. They are all SO TALENTED!! If you do Nameless Warrior, I would suggest following that up with Soldier Stands Solitarily. Just when you thought Haruna's double kick couldn't go any faster...MY GOD! 🤘

Hey Eric! Thanks for the great reaction. (from their Wikipedia page) Miho (who actually wrote a lot of their songs) "noted that their decision to wear all-white clothing, as opposed to the genre's stereotypical black, was made to contrast with their old school sound and have them stand out". Similarly, when Miku formed BandMaid, she said (something along this line) to the other girls "Let's wear really cute outfits, then rip their faces off with hard ass rock". So yes, all of this stuff is well thought out. I always call Midori a "Warrior Princess". If you haven't noticed her guns, pay particular attention to them when you get to "Judgement Day". Not only can she rip your face off with her guitar work, she looks like she could rip your head off with her bare arms! She competes in swimsuit or fitness competitions, has a 2nd place finish from what I've heard. And, little shy/meek Miyako has an Owl and a Python.

@@josemanuelperez2853 There is not a single Japanese player who can be compared with miyako, midori, fami., haruna and asami, they're in different dimensions, although toki and yoshi are good friends with former lovebites miho. Are you a friend of comedy cosplayers?

@@bonered9210 Of course they are not the same, they are different.
Different musicians, different songs, and of course you can argue that in Lovebites you have better technical players. Only it´s different.
This don´t change the fact, dress as "disney princess" was made for others before Lovebites, that´s all.
Also a little thing, maybe is had to admit, but in terms of crowd management, Toki and Re:No made a really better work.
Don´t get me wrong, i really like Lovebites, but their stage presence is a little dull. They only move a little and have a little interaction with the crowd.Only Midori do a nice work in this aspect and now Fami. Just see a live performance of Aldious. Toki is crazy as a loon, and Sawa do a really good work. Re-No, even if vocally can´t compare with Asami, was an incredible front woman.
Of course the themes of Lovebites are a lot more difficult to perform, and maybe because of this they don´t but so much show.

@@DrumAttic Glad you enjoy them. There are a lot of people that know way more than me. When it comes to Japanese Female musicians, fan knowledge runs really deep. I helped Wave Potter take his channel from 3K subs to 87K in less than 2 years. He was stuck at 2-3K for 5 years...LOL He did all the hard work, I provided a lot of ideas and some $$$ support, encouraging him to monetize his channel, which he did. I commissioned a documentary of YOYOKA (31 Min) with him. He did an awesome job! That documentary made it as high as the #2 most viewed video on his channel at 274K views. It was creeping up and I had it projected to take the number one spot. Then he started doing all these Alip Ba Ta reactions, who has a massive following, and he crushed my dreams...LOL Now YOYOKA Documentary is at #5 with no hopes of making #1. YOYOKA is the only one in the top 35. The other 34 are all Alip Ba Ta. The YOYOKA documentary is above all the BandMaid, Lovebites, etc. He took my ideas and used some of them as is, but more importantly, it inspired him to come up with his own ideas and to improve on the ideas I gave hi, He was ready to totally give up music, which he loves. I introduced him to YOYOKA, and at the same time one other person did as well. He was so inspired through the whole process, that he not only regained his interest, but is now really happy again. As a result of all his efforts YOYOKA went to his house and did a jam session with him, all improvised, and invited him to play on stage at a music school about 100 miles from his home. He also got to meet, and hang out backstage, with "Gacharic Spin" (all female Japanese band) in person (in Houston) as a result of winning a contest they had where they asked fans to make a reaction video of their new song, and HE WON! LOL. The did a reaction to his reaction video and posted it. It made them so happy to see how happy he was also. Anyway, just letting you know that that rabbit hole is really deep and so much fun. You will meet a lot of cool people (fans). Very positive and supportive of the bands and the reactors. I hope I didn't tell you what follows already, but it has made a huge impact on my life. As a result of him meeting YOYOKA, I got to meet her and her family. They even did a home stay with me 3 times. I got to go to the Silk Sonic concert and sit next to YOYOKA and meet Anderson.Paak backstage because I was with her. She did a recording session with EllenPlaysBass (an 11 y.o.) who is to bass what YOYOKA is to drums, when she was here (Las Vegas) and I got to meet her and her father. They actually live within walking distance of me. I have remained friends with her dad Hovak. My point is, you can have a ton of fun with this and even be inspired to become a better drummer (not saying you need to- may not even be a goal you have), just pointing out that Wave has actually become a much better drummer as a result of YOYOKA, Akane, Haruna, Senri, Murata Tamu and others. He is also a multi instrumentalist and really breaks down the songs and has improved on all the instruments he plays. I have to take a nap now, I bored myself to sleep...lol Peace!

No, it's not a silly thing to notice. It's deliberate, and sometimes referred to as "the Gap". Many of the female rock bands in Japan have adopted a look that is meant to contrast with the aggressiveness of the music.
