  • Join me as I head to Mazatlan, Sinaloa for a beach town experience in Mexico! Mazatlan is located on the west coast of Mexico and has a fun, lively vibe for anyone that is looking for an adventurous getaway. I was only here for 2 days, but would recommend 3 days to maximize the fun on your trip to Mazatlan. During this trip, I explored the following:
    1. Mazatlan Malecon - longest malecon in the world - 13 miles!
    2. Catedral Basílica de la Inmaculada Concepción in Centro
    3. Las Changueras (shrimp ladies) - Mazatlán is famous for it's shrimp because it has the largest shrimp fishing fleet on the west coast of Mexico. The shrimp ladies get their shrimp directly from the boats! They have a large selection of sizes of shrimp that they sell to the public by the kilogram for a reasonable price!
    4. Plaza Machado - artsy district with lots of colors, cafes, and art
    5. Hiked El Faro - the highest lighthouse in the Americas.
    5. Stone Island - not technically an island but filled with tourist activities. I booked a tour with mazatlantours.org for a 5-hour boat excursion to Stone Island.
    Enjoy!

I think you're doing a good job of showing people what and where you are doing, don't worry about being "polished " you have your unique way and it's working well 👏 I've been to mazatlan 6 times and just love it in fact I love Mexico 🇲🇽 I'll subscribe and see where your journey takes you

I’ve been to mazatlan every year (except 2020) since 2010. Every year I still watch travel videos about mazatlan just to see if there is anything new or anything I have done yet. I really enjoyed your video. I stay at a hotel just a few down from where you stayed. I’m happy you enjoyed mazatlan! I like to call it my second home and always shed a tear when I step off the airplane into the beautiful sunny weather 🥲
    Your vlogging style was great!

I love Mazatlán. Next time you're in Mexico you should come to Morelia Michoacán. I can show you around and the you should visit Zihuatanejo. A beautiful beach town in the coast of Guerrero, Mexico. I'm sure you'll love it there.

The driver took you on the ride to your hike. Always ask how much and negotiate before you get in the palmonia. It should have been 15o pesos max. Did you know that palmonia means pneumonia

I like your videography style as well as the narration. You might consider using a dead cat microphone sock to block some of the wind sound.I subscribed. We're headed to Mazatlan in march to make some videos. -Marc

What month of the year did you visit? How was the weather? Would you stay in the Gold Zone or is the El Centro area better? Thank you for showing us the more raw footage of what you experienced.

Hey, thanks for the comment. I went during the end of Nov and the weather was great. I would opt for the Golden Zone for sure. Appreciate the kind words!

Great video!!. Just want to let you know, that bar Ancla de Oro, it's a Cantina actually, a place where people, mostly men, go and drink a lot, eat and listening live music, yeah its cheap, and I would just go if I'm looking for my drunk uncle haha, not a common place for a tourist for sure. Yeah Mazatlán is stunning, with golden sunsets 🌅 nice beaches 🏖 a gorgeous centro histórico (old downtown), great food 🦐🥩🌮🍹🍺 and a richfull culture 🎭🎨🩰💃🕺. Greetings!!

Hey Gabriel! Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend. They have the worst bathtub design I’ve ever seen. Everytime you shower, it floods the floor haha. Each room even has a stack of extra towels for the flooding 😅
