CPS really should have been called to give this dolt a reality slap. Jail time might have been called for since that poor child faced a real risk of death.
Story #1... What court did she think was REALLY gonna give HER custody of a child that she left ALONE??!!! Oh that would have been a good one. Story #2... I just REALLY love how people always come begging after they find out they're wrong.
There's absolutely no excuse to leave a 6 year old at home alone for a week!!! And you justify it by claiming your husband is cheating. Hope you can live with the consequences of your actions
WHY DID THE WIFE WHO LEFT HER 6 YEAR OLD ALONE FOR A WEEK NOT FACE LEGAL CONSEQUENCES?! Getting really really really tired of stories where characters who absolutely should end up in jail get no legal consequences
Isn’t it assumed that the mother got the consequences after the story ends? Also the writers are not really familiar with US laws since they’re from an Asian country. I say they get a gold star because this story wasn’t as bad as some of them. At least there was no CEO or younger more beautiful sister stealing her husband 😆 I honestly welcome ANY change up in the plot.
That's actually a pretty realistic representation of our so-called justice system. Nothing actually happens to those who break the law. But if you're the victim, expect all kinds of legal nonsense.
The first story is sad and upsetting because Lisa had options other than leaving a 6 year old alone for a week (i.e. her mother). Also she was lucky her house wasn't the cause of the chain of fire's. If it had the police and fire department would be asking more questions. She would be jail where she needs to be.
Ned, just man up and take care of your own child by yourself!! There's plenty of people who are single parents. It's not easy but you can do it. He was looking for a free ride, with money and child care. Glad she shut him down
My maternal grandmother lost her family to a fire when she was 8. If the neighbouring farm hadn't taken her in as a housemaid I don't know what would happened to her near the end of WW1.
Story 1, in most states, provinces, & countries, it's illegal to leave a 6 year old child unattended, especially overnight. It's considered child neglect at the very least, child abandonment if it's for a longer period of time, and quite possibly child abuse as well.
As it should be. A 6 year old doesn’t know how to do sh@t hell I have to keep an eye on my 6 year old nephew especially when cooking us lunch just to make sure he doesn’t burn himself on the stove
It’s not illegal in the country that this was written from. Besides the riders are not familiar too much with US laws. Haven’t you figured that out yet? The cultural differences are definitely apparent in these ....the mother-in-law Lords over the daughter-in-law? Puh-Leez!!! American DIL would be telling the MIL to go straight to hell
Michele it's only you and him in the whole house so it's pretty obvious that you did it. And you really thought that he wouldn't notice the card missing and the statement will say where you spent it.
Why is everyone in the comment section acting like mom leaving her kid home alone for days is a simple moral failing instead of an actual crime? Child abandonment and child endangerment are both actual crimes that _should_ be landing her squarely in prison without a second to thought.
You must be very soft hearted… AWWW… You cried over a fictional character in a fictional story. Yes I have to admit I was worried… Even though it is a fictional story
Things were sure different last century. My parents would leave my little sister and me alone in a hotel room in a foreign country while they went out to dinner. I was babysitting younger children by age 10. Little sister and I would walk to the movies on our own well pre-teen age. And there was no such thing as bicycle helmets, either, lol.
15:05 I woulda said "Court ordered lie detector test" multiple times by now. 1:07:16 Translation. "This is just how life is, when you can wrap your legs behind your head as much as meeee"
Why? Polygraph results are inadmissible as evidence for anything. So why would the court order one? That'd be like a court ordered tarot card reading. A variation on the old saying is all I'd say, "Hard evidence or it didn't happen"
~ 0:01 ~ Title story. ~ 18:39 ~ Brother and SIL are perfect for each other. ~ 30:55 ~ Oblivious ex-husband gets dumped and wants ex-wife to raise his kid. ~ 44:12 ~ Girlfriend steals boyfriend's credit card. ~ 56:18 ~ Nobody wants to go to Stephanie's wedding, including the groom.
this just gets better - I no longer watch "Days of our lives" because this is such a hoot! Brother: "give me $75,000" Brother: "watch your mouth!" lololololol
Crazy leaving 6 year old alone that Against the law everywhere for sure . That 1000% bad mother she thinks she get him in the Divorce she so dum for sure i am woman and when woman cheat they dont have to pay lol lol dum has bag of rocks for sure lol 😂.
2nd story: Brother just said "I don't have time to waste on you!" OP should have cut them both off at that point - I am close to my 2 brothers and that broke my heart ☹💔
”It’s a credit card. That means that money automatically gets drawn from my bank account.” No, that’s actually a debit card. The mistakes that tends to be included in videos like this one are somewhat mental. 😅
A lot of these Text Channels share stories. Even the original channel you 1st heard the story got in from one of the Asian social media like Weibo, WeChat, Douyin, etc.
It’s kind of weird when people get so up in arms about leaving a kid alone at home. Granted I’m not condoning leaving a little kid alone for long periods of time. But I guess things were different back in the seventies & eighties since when I was 6-8 I remember being a “ latchkey” kid. My mom was a single parent back then & I would walk home from school since she was at work. I would be home by myself for 2-4 hours after school until my mom got home. Then after my parents got married & after my dad went back to work I was again a “latchkey” kid at age 11 thru 14 until I went away to boarding school. Of course times were different & I was very mature & I was never on my own for more than 4 hours until I was older.
Yeah unfortunately I've started hearing a lot of stories lately that make the world today seem so much more dangerous than it used to be. And it's even more unfortunate because the world can't really go back to the days where kids could be left by themselves for at least an hour or two or worry too much about everyone trying to kidnap them. But it is what it is.
Yes but you weren't alone for a week. And if she had to leave you your mom would make sure that you go to a neighbour's home or stay at someone's house. My mom was a single mother too. We did have grandparents too. But also people were diferent back then. We were taught to go to the neighbours, what to do if we are alone, how to alarm the neighbours to help us if needed. And they knew it too so they looked a little bit closely too. People were hanging out together much more back then. Now days they just all mind their own buisnes. People dont care like before. And still my mother would never leave such a small child alone for a week. There was one time when she couldn't come home from work due to the snow storm one winter for a week. Everything was covered in ice. She had no way to come back from the town where she worked and traveled to for work. But we were not alone. We were with our grandparents . It was winter, cold, you cant leave a child alone like that. In this case the woman was crazy for doing that. And not for work, or because she was not able to come back. She went to have sex for a week with her lover. That's diferent from how we were being raised. She never even asked anyone to watch him. She could say to a neighbour, tell them a story, Idk about some reason why she has to leave him. At least the kid would be safe.
I dont know about ANY of these writers!!! NO ONE SAYS I WAlk the elite life!!!! or elite university!! I think it is just in their OWN minds as they never went to A good Uni Like Stanford,Yale ,or Brown!! Just sad dreams that NEVER came true!!! Ifeel sorry for them.
The credit card one sounded like an ad for credit card responsibility 😊😂
All the stories are individual. The authors have written such diverse stories. The narrators are excellent.
Leaving a 6 year old alone is insane😮😮
How stupid can people be??? I'm truly starting to think that maybe there should be common sense tests before leaving the hospital with a baby.
People are crazy when I was kid an entire family passed away because mom wanted to go out
CPS really should have been called to give this dolt a reality slap. Jail time might have been called for since that poor child faced a real risk of death.
Nevermind illegal, what a sh*tty thing to do.
The state I live in, a child has to be THIRTEEN before you can legally leave the child to fend for themselves. And sadly, people still do it.
Story #1...
What court did she think was REALLY gonna give HER custody of a child that she left ALONE??!!!
Oh that would have been a good one.
Story #2...
I just REALLY love how people always come begging after they find out they're wrong.

Also, it’s illegal in most states
Man with a brother and family like that who needs enemies.
WHY DID THE WIFE WHO LEFT HER 6 YEAR OLD ALONE FOR A WEEK NOT FACE LEGAL CONSEQUENCES?!
Getting really really really tired of stories where characters who absolutely should end up in jail get no legal consequences
YES. She would be in jail for child neglect and abandonment ASAP in the real world and it would be all over the news.
@@paulagoeringer9466 EXACTLY
That girl is insane, why did she even get children?! If this is real this is completely... Sorry no words for it here
Isn’t it assumed that the mother got the consequences after the story ends? Also the writers are not really familiar with US laws since they’re from an Asian country. Lisa takes what her boyfriend says with no proof and to leave a 6 year on alone that's so crazy.
Ned, just man up and take care of your own child by yourself!! There's plenty of people who are single parents. It's not easy but you can do it.
He was looking for a free ride, with money and child care. Glad she shut him down
First Story: I'm not sure what planet Lisa is on but it certainly isn't Planet Earth
she could go to jail.
Wow, yelling like that in a restaurant, classy!😂
My maternal grandmother lost her family to a fire when she was 8. If the neighbouring farm hadn't taken her in as a housemaid I don't know what would happened to her near the end of WW1.
Leaving a 6 years old kid alone at home is far beyond insane !
First story: where were the charges of child endangerment & child abandonment?
Hello sorry I missed your calls what's up?
THE ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD IS A SEA OF FLAMES!!
Story 1, in most states, provinces, & countries, it's illegal to leave a 6 year old child unattended, especially overnight. It's considered child neglect at the very least, child abandonment if it's for a longer period of time, and quite possibly child abuse as well.

Why is everyone in the comment section acting like mom leaving her kid home alone for days is a simple moral failing instead of an actual crime? Child abandonment and child endangerment are both actual crimes that _should_ be landing her squarely in prison without a second to thought.
I swear the first story gave me a mini heart attack I was terrified that the kid was still in the house while it was on fire I even started crying
You must be very soft hearted… AWWW… You cried over a fictional character in a fictional story. Yes I have to admit I was worried… Even though it is a fictional story
don't divorcing couples know that amounts for alimony, compensation, and child support are not decided by them? She wants $60k and custody 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ned needs to get together with Lisa from the other story . There both insane. Lmao
1:00:38 Richard's the guy who gave Dr. Evil his cat!!
in the USA, or at least the Golden State, a kid must be 11 to be left alone and 13 to look after younger siblings
At 11or12 I was looking after my little brother but that was 60 years ago.
Why wouldn’t Lisa leave the child with the grandparents? Jesus H is she insane

What 6 year old has the skills to even make a pb&j?
What age is a reasonable age to be left alone?
In Washington state there is no law but they recommend 10 years old
Does Tommy have to yell so loud?
Able to look after him self at 6 she needs jail time
I don't know what world Lisa is living in, but it might be the same as my sister-in-law.
Credit cards dont automatically deduct money.

A bit over dramatic with the guy voice huh?😂😂
