    Hello , very informative ❤️👌. Please do make a tutorial on how to organize repetitive tasks in notion reminders. Example
    1) Reminder a week before 1st of every month to pay bills
    2) Reminder a week before, my vehicle insurance payments
    3) Reminder a week before my friends birthday.
    Is there any formulas for this recurring tasks ? Please help 🙏🏻 many thanks 🙏🏻

    • @duveth
      @duveth ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I added new properties to the Day data, this would be the month day I want a remainder (example, for every 10th I would add "10th" to the properties) and I will add this to the formula in the hidden cell Today...
      contains(prop("Day"), formatDate(now(), "do")) or
      so my new remainder will appear every day 10 in every month

    Using this to gear up for my upcoming semester, would you say a class in university is a project or an area? "school" is obviously an area but an individual class is also a bit too long to be a project, not to mention a class is just a collection of assignments which are projects. What would you do? Thanks so much for the template btw!

    Do you recommend to split into different accounts PERSONAL/PRIVATE vs BUSINESS/WORK? Of course there are many scenarios... but regarding platform usability... I have my doubts using a splitted approach. What happens if you have a personal/private "item/database/resource... etc..." that suddenly might grow as the seed of some Business Staff. How to relate to it? That's when I'm thinking on combining both PERSONAL and BUSINESS and using the P.A.R.A. Areas to identify boundaries. Thoughts?

    Solutions like Notion or Obsidian are a great thing, but I can see that because of the initial investment required to organize these tools MOST PEOPLE WILL NEVER USE THEM ANYWAY
    Besides, how many people actually actively create something (for which these tools are absolutely great), and not just consume existing content

Let's say it's not just ancestry research, but the project is "ancestry research presentation", so where do you save the presentation? I think I just don't get it, how it would work in real life :-) Thanks

    Question: I’m trying to add a recurring task and I can’t seem to 1) add it to a project and I can’t have it re-occur unless it’s under Recurring Tasks. When I add it there, I can’t find it for the specific project. 2) If I try to add it to a project, I can’t state what day I need it to reoccur on.

      I believe if you have multiple views, for linked databases et al, notion will default to the top most view. So you might try reorganizing your views so that the top most view is the one you want them to see first.
