Great summary!
Lol that’s so awesome! I’m so thankful that there is someone in this world that understands how my brain works and that can further summarize it for me so I can get right in to finishing my goals. Thank you both 😊
Hello manager ‼️👋
Any chance you are working on combining the PARA method with AI to create the ultimate second brain AI assistant? (crosses fingers)
Great book Señor
Reading your book now on Chapter 5 ❤
Great video!
Things I can recall right now are:
PARA - How you should organize your second brain, by how actionable it is.
P - Projects - Short term, what is cooking on the stove
A - Areas - Long term, Slow cooker - Ex: Fitness
R - Resources - Information that helps make new Projects or Area
A - Archive - Declutter the other stuff, finished projects, no longer relevant areas/resources.
Knowledge not used is knowledge wasted, we base everything around action!
I was about to buy this today and thought, I'll see if Productivity Game has a video on it. Welp, I found it, watched it, liked it and now I own the book. lol.
I do the same, but I thought I'd throw him a plug: When I decide I'm going to buy the book, I try to click on the link in the episode notes, as I assume it's an affiliate link for him, and it's a small way to say thanks!
@@tomnewberry3809 Very conscious of you, thanks for being a supportive human, Tom. Way to make an impact on someones happiness!
Im going to buy it now aswell. after seeing this video.
Thank you, your summaries (I've viewed / read several) provide a perspective that helps me better understand the book.
After watching so many videos finally found an easy to understand explanation.
Thank you ♥️
As a business owner, and cook, the saucepan, instant pot and spice illustration was genius. This video is so succinct and provides so much value to quickly determine whether this is a system we should implement.
You are doing an excellent job. It's one of my favorite TH-cam channels
Absolutely the best summary on TH-cam. Thanks!
This is a great summary. I listened to the book but planned to go back to this section now you have saved me time and let me see how to use the system in real world.
Thank you so much for this! Been looking to find proper summary for this book recently.
This is a nice book and you did a great job on the summary! Thanks!
Excellent video. This one added the GTD are changing my life. Thank you very much.
Very useful organizational tool, thank you for the summary. This is my favorite channel on TH-cam.
This is a great video! It's simple and direct. And the examples do help to explain the concept better.
"recipe complete", thank you for the summary. The icing on the cake for my todoist structure. Gonna play around with it for a bit now
The best channel:Simple and Understandable summaries.
Bro, this is the best productivity Channel I find that the other ones just repeat themselves and have nothing new to say.
The one I’ve been waiting for… thank YOU
Love this summary! Very helpful. I really enjoy your channel.
Another good video, I'm building a second brain in notion this video covers it all.
SUPER helpful summary, Nathan, thanks! Clear, concise and spurred me into action 🙌🏻
Much needed this refresher summary. Very helpful! Thank you.
Thank you very much for putting this video together. It really helped me and surely saved me a lot of time! Thanks again!
Thank you!!!! Almost done Reading the book
This is out of this world. I stumbled upon something with a similar message, and it was absolutely astonishing. "Unlocking the Brain's Full Potential" by Alexander Sterling
Super helpful! I had the wrong idea about the "Areas" section before watching this video. Thank you!
The best explanation ever! Thank you so much!
The best video about HOW really build a second brain. Thank you!

Great Insights of the book and this is wonderful way to improve second brain.
Well done! Really clear
Thank you for the video!
thankyou so much, you are doing a great job!!!!! From Malaysia😁
I scanned this book today at BN. It is pretty good, I will be picking it up as an ebook. I will also explore using this method and further refining my Note system. I think email could be sorted similarly and will be looking into that.
Great summery. Well done mate.
I was reading the book excited, but a third in, it became quite tedious. I think your summary is all I need 😅
Great video!
It took mucho endurance to get through that book. So much extraneous BS.
Thank you
Thx for the summary
really helpful, thank you!
This was pretty amazing.
Exactly what I was looking for
Nice examples and beneficial sumup 🙏🏽
Wow... mind opening...

Another great review 🙂
What a fantastic video.
Plz make summary for the book "the upside of downtimes"........btw thank you very much for the awesome summaries ♥️♥️♥️
You are awesome!!!
Thank you so much❤❤❤
You have introduced a lot of systems of doing different stuff in your channel. I am not even following for long time. I am just wondering which of these methods are you still using yourself? If you follow all of them, they would take all of your time. Or not?
That's a very good question to the creator. For me it has become like a mixture of bits and pieces that I learned in all the books I've read, to form kind of my ultimate methods and tools, depending on the situation
@@pathalls Same as Patrick. I use mostly second brain, in a combination of GTD and zettelkasten. But the other methodes im building currently
Maybe Nathan need to add q&a video to cover this area. His point of view is valuable & whorted to share.
I was just thinking about something similar and see this question :D
Maybe he can do follow up videos about things he has learned and used and tell us what he thinks of certain methods after a certain period of usage.
Ali abdaal as a video on which second brain ideas he used including the programs he uses
Thank You
Workflowy is a great ap for this.
❤ Thank you 👍
Thanks! Looking forward to using this in onenote for my next project
amazing explanation from you, thanks for that
I have a question what program are you using in making your videos if you don't mind
Thanks
Should you merge your personal, academic and work „second brain“? I did not read the book yet but get the base principle thanks to this video, but the question above is an unanswered question for me.
Nice!
Great video again! Which notebook do you use?
Very similar to GTD
nice video
Preach
Hi Bro, really great animations.
just one suggestion which I guess you can put into your 'Areas of Improvement' 😂... and maybe later to archive
Whenever you display a book, make sure it looks like a book instead of showing just the cover page photo of that book.
hank you
What if you have single actions (like GTD where Single Actions vs Projects), where you place those in PARA? I always have ideas too, sometimes small, sometimes big. Sometimes it takes only one action in 30-60 minutes. Where to place those?
can anyone compare differences between categories of GTD (reference, someday, project…) and P.A.R.A? Are they the same?
What are the good digital note taking systems ?
Ever Note
Notion
One note
What are the others ...?
Is it "areas of improvement" or "areas of responsibility"?
What would be the best application to do this on?
What app or journaling techniques do you guys use?!
Question:
If i have the same folder name at google drive and the same notebook name at evernote, do they have the same files inside like pdfs photos etc? Thanks for answering
Most of my notes are meeting notes and todos across my 200 customers. Is this a good system to capture that information?
I don't get the difference between Resources and Areas
Hello , One doubt i have in using PARA method.
I have PARA folders implemented in multiple systems - Apple notes, google drive, macbook , icloud drive . My PROJECTS folders have multiple project subfolders inside them. Similarly for AREAS , RESOURCES , ARCHIVES have multiple subfolders.
google drive (PARA) - because when i am at office we cannot connect to icloud drive.
icloud drive (PARA) - because i need to sync my documents in apple ecosystem.
Apple notes (PARA ) - because i keep all my notes there instead of Evernote.
Macbook (PARA) - because i am saving big size video files and photos locally in my macbook.
My Question is : Do i need to daily copy paste manually all the contents of my PROJECT subfolders to all the different PARA systems implemented ( eg : google drive, macbook, apple notes ,icloud drive) to maintain sync between them ? Please do reply. I am very confused on this PARA system.
Solve for happy - mo gawdat
👍👍
I'm already onto my 4th brain.
Seems very similar to GTD by David Allen
They are similar in that both are about getting what’s in your head out and into a trusted system. However, building a second brain is about managing your knowledge. GTD is about managing your commitments.
@@readtoleadpodcast Nice breakdown, really appreciate that.
@@readtoleadpodcast Subscribed to your channel. Great work.
@@5un5hine73 Thank you.
@@josongeorge5 I appreciate that sir.
I have amnesia so my second brain is 100% intended to hoard information for me XD
I like GTD more
To me is different: GTD is more to focus actionable things that came from a good planning (second brain...)
Zettlekasten or Second Brain --> GTD --> Calendar
and that is how it is done! Great job. I also read the book and i have to say, that i did not enjoyed it. To much talking arround the bush, felt like he was trying to fill pages.
I noticed same thing in your last 2-3 videos
After I found out that money is only a tool to exchange for values, I stopped saving and started investing.... Invest your money to make more money, By saving your money you only lose its value and it gets depreciated.... a fellow creator ^=^..,
Literally I don't find this video much valuable...I think you are summarize very difficult or non valuable books
Kindly try to select the book more precisely
Thank you
Thanks
Thank you
