Do you feel that Ooltewah is growing too fast and is too congested? We are trying to decide between Cleveland and Ooltewah. Ideally a home that has a great kitchen, gas instead of electric, 3 bdr 2 bath, no more than $425,000, would be nice to have a backyard that has trees we have 2 cats and our existing home in the suburbs of Chicago has a nice backyard with trees that our cats love and love having shade, also has to be in an area with high speed internet but I know Ooltewah is ideal. I read reviews about Pratt people say to avoid them and DR Horton builders. We love to be in nature, hike, walk, bike. We were just there for 6 days and went all over. IF we could afford Signal Mountain we would consider that but not in the budget. Trying to think which city would be better for resale value Cleveland vs Ooltewah. Thoughts?

Would you have any tips on getting a decent deal on a mortgage loan from local lenders in the greater Chattanooga area? My wife and I want to buy in hixson, ooltewah or red Bank!

Yes. Actually that’s a great video idea too. And Those are great locations. Red bank is a bit less expensive and hixson and Ooltewah are growing quickly. You might wanna get your fax straight before you bake a TH-cam show about our area. There were many things that you talked about that we’re not exactly factual. Number one being working at Southern Adventist University. You have to be of that denomination in order to get a job there.

SAU.. it is a denomination specific private university with a 501c3, which means they CAN determine if they want you to work there based on your religion… however it’s up to their individual directors, not a stipulation of the church organization. I don’t see anything I said that was not factual. People do still go there to work. Collegedale is very small, most people move to Collegedale due to the college.
