Madam diabetes and uska ilaz keliye metformin ka istamall jankaari bahut faidamand hai. Uske liye bahut dhanyawad.
I would like to take your suggestion regarding my case. My H1bc test showing between 6.5 to 7.5 since 1 and half years. I am regularly waking min 45 mints a day. Due to which the reading is weavering lower and higher. My regular cardiologist doctor advised me Confirmin 500 mg 1 tab daily @8 am after breakfast. But I have not started it on the advise of my close brother who is diabetic since 20 years. He suggested to wait for sometime and do daily exercise. Please advise me whether I should start tablet immediately or wait for sometime? Please advise me , app ke reply is most awaited. Thank you.
Focus on diet and exercise and if HbA1C goes above 7 you need medication , metformin 500mg once a day after food like after dinner or lunch will be advised by the doctor

As your HbA1c range is high, you should follow your physician's advise and start taking the prescribed medicine alongwith the diet control and regular exercise. Once your HbA1c range will come down your doctor will adjust your dose accordingly.

Extended release and sustained release medicines depends upon the severity of disease, therefore take as per your doctor's advice.
Xl and SR both are same , if taking XL or SR have to take once a day because XL and SR dono ke ek tablet ka asar 24 hours ke liye hota hai .. agar bina XL / SR le rahe ho toh din mai 2 bar lena padega ... All depends on treating doctor
