Sorry to say, but this may be the best for the casual outdoors man who prefer style and comfort before protection.
I have owned both Gore-Tex and other junk, that again may be great for the walk in the forest where you fast can get indoor again, but none of this is usable if you are forced to be outside for at least 10-12 hours laying on the asphalt rescuing people, are in a fishing boat in a storm or working in an airport as a wing walker.

@@davidmaco1 I have just made a longer answer, but it looks like TH-cam has deleted it, maybe because of the link.
What you need depends on your task, but if you simply don't care and simply want to stay dry, even if a firefighter declares war on you, then does nothing beat PVC heavy duty (500gsm-700gsm) both are equal dry but thicker is stronger and less comfortable. Do not get scared about the cheap price, we are talking about welded PVC that has been used for decades and decades in the professional industry, not some new-tech that still needs development, money and have a fancy name. 🙂
EDIT: Forgot the downside, when I say watertight, do I mean 100% watertight, meaning it does also keep your body's moist inside the clothes. So if possible, get a two-piece set. Expect to use $100-$200 per pierce, not more or less.
