No worries about the wickless candle… they make candle warmers that you can sit the candle on and it will heat from the bottom, or the one I prefer are the lights that heat from above… the candle sits in a wooden base and the light, which is adjustable, heats from above…and then you can get a bright or low glow from the light…. Chef kiss!😘
Hi Jackie, I thought it might be alabaster too but I just checked the product details and it's marble. It's bloomin' heavy and the scent is really strong 🥰
Hi Kaz, I have a solution for your no wick candle…I had never heard of a candle warmer until this week but it is basically a light warms and melts the wax. Look it up; it’s a thing! I haven’t tried one myself but work colleagues swear by them! Worth a try…😊
Hi Kaz👋. Regarding your candle problem, I would think you could dig the wax out from the container and purchase a wick kit from a hobby/craft shop, gently melt the wax then pour it back into the container. You definitely seem to be so very much lighter with the air conditioning, do enjoy 😊🌺🎁🕯️🔋🌸✌️
Hi Kaz, some candles without a. Wick are intended to be warm, and the idea behind this, is the scent will last more. Another option is to roll one from another candle and lit it . They are lovely! Thanks again for sharing. On se voit dans d’eaux jours ❤
Hi Kaz, what wonderful candles. Maybe the candle without the wick - perhaps it got burried in wax...might have to some little big of digging.... But anyway, thank you for sharing and showing to us your wonderful home.
Hi Kaz, I think the sunscreen is also primer as it’s says 30+, I like that you can put foundation over it is such a great idea 💕 you home is so zen and cosy good job with the curtain too makes all the difference 🎄
Hi Darklin, thanks, that's really handy being able to put foundation or tinted moisturiser over the top of it. Thank you, I love our home. I like having a fairly small living area, the other half of the room is a dining room. I'll have to do a proper room tour one day when I've finished creating a mess everywhere. I had no idea that decluttering would be so messy 😅
Dear Kaz - You inspired me with the candles so much that I just took a *Parks London Candle* out of my closet and lit it ( in the scent lilac ) which is completely unwintry, but I love it 🕯🕯🕯 I knew that the sosho candle is made of marble, I thought it right away when you said the box is so heavy - here in Germany we get refills for it ! See if you can get a refill later or use the can for nice little things --- Buy a simple, thin long stick candle for the candle without wick and break off the wax and put it in the Fornasetti candle - if necessary help with a knitting needle to drill a tunnel ... very best regards and a nice 2nd Advent 🌠- Ralf
Hi Ralf, thank you, I love lilac scented candles at any time of the year. There is a hole where the wick should be and I think I can see the wick not too far from the top. I might just scoop it out a little bit and see if I can find it. If that doesn't work your idea sounds really good, thank you 💖
Love love love Fornasetti! I stumbled on his shop in Milan many years ago and got fixated on buying one of his chairs. I loved it but impractical to send it to Australia. He did a collaboration with LV and there are Alma bags out there which are absolutely fantastic.
Hi Deborah, I love Fornasetti too. I have one of the Alma bags but I'm selling it because I've never used it. I'll spend the money from the sale on something from Fornasetti that I will use 🥰
@@5ftNothing Great solution, I love your taste! BTW I hope I didn't offend by making a personal remark back a week or so ago. I know it's rude and usually wouldn't do it but I was concerned and then I got myself a brace for my own situation (it's really uncomfortable! lol!) For context though: there was a beautiful and kind vlogger Alex from Pretty Pastel Please and Dacob knew her. Anyway she had a terrible time when at school she was teased mercilessly and she had plastic surgery on her nose. She also had experienced bullying on line. Anyway the surgery went wrong she had at least 2 other corrective surgeries. She suffered a lot. Now I had noticed that she still had signs of inflammation which is not good but I kept it to myself. I felt this is a para asocial relationship and it's not my business to comment. But I also know inflammation can be bad for us. I have remedies that I use to keep my asthma and more recently arthritis under control. these are inflammatory conditions. In fact I've been able to give up my puffers because my chest is clear. I can now breathe deeply and without any issues. What bothers me is that Alex died suddenly. We had no word on the cause and many of us feared and assumed it was self driven. But I researched the coroner's report and it was heart attack caused by inflammation from residual infection from her operations. I have it on my conscience that I could have said something and maybe even saved her.... But it's not socially acceptable try to do this. It's a dilemma. Anyway just to explain that I am actually a caring person. I know I'm not responsible for her or others but I still wish I'd said something.
@@deborahcurtis1385 Dear Deborah you didn't offend me at all, don't worry, it's all good. Please don't carry any guilt about Alex, we can't change the past we can only change the now and the future 🤗💖💖

Hi Corikay, ohhh I like that idea. I think there is actually a wick in the candle but it looks like it's about an inch below the surface 💖
The candles are really beautiful. I've never seen a candle without a wick! What a surprise! I enjoyed your video.
Hi Kathleen, thank you. I love scented candles especially the Fornasetti ones 💖
Maybe the candle was melted at one time covering the wick. You might have to dig in the center to find the wick.
Hi Matt, could have been, I'll have to dig around a bit because I'm sure there's a wick in there somewhere 😅
Wow a atone candle is beautiful i would bet alabaster

I came to say the same thing. I use candle warmers all the time, no smoke, no flame and mine has a timer. Love it!
Hi Ginger, thank you, that sounds brilliant. I've never heard of one before, but that sounds like it would do the trick, thanks 💖
Hi Antigoni, thank you, I must look into getting one of those 🥰

Hi Jessie, thank you. I think this one has actually got a wick because there's a hole where the wick should be. See you in 2 days 😎

Hi Grace, thank you. I was thinking the same thing. I'll do a proper room tour when I've tidied up the aftermath of my decluttering 😅

Hello Kaz! That’s a very warm and cozy living room ❤️
Hi Corrine, thank you. It's the smallest part of the room but just the right size for the 2 of us 🥰

You could buy a candle warmer to sit candle on and the heat would give off the fragrance.
Hi Mary, thank you for the suggestion 🥰
Happy Vlogmas
Thank you Jolee. I must make time later to watch your Tubemas videos, love the name 😎
Love super goop. It is sunscreen and acts as a primer also
I'd never heard of it before. This advent calendar is proving to be very educational 👍

Hi Michelle, thank you 🥰
Living through renovation work isn’t very fun 🔨
Isn't it just. I think this is about the 12th house I've renovated and thankfully this will be the last one 🤩
