I used to play Ranger a lot , while i dint have orb of light i always tried to bait Rogues by opening doors then rushing in a bit, then inmediatly pull back, id just wait at the door for their shitty 20 seconds to run out, always works. I also never ran into big rooms with lots of dead enemies, or rooms without light. Eventually i started speccing into melee stats and spear, so i could two shot with them spear.
That’s exactly what every squishy class should do, explained perfectly

The best way to counter rogues is to get ESP and you can see them even while invis this is the most effective way
Having to play like this is mostly why i don't play wiz, but when you see no rouges in the start it is a treat
all classes have to play this way to an extent. it's kinda just the way the game works, the ability to go completely invisible for a long time anywhere you want, instantly, is such a god awful game mechanic in so many ways.

Yeah rogues make the gameplay extremely slow and boring but it works, and looting them after is quiet satisfying.
Pdr fighters don’t really have to worry about them ngl

What a coincidence I was in the exact game and spectated you killing that Rogue. After that you went to the safe extract and butchered a naked Wizard who didnt want to fight :) I get it tho, every point is Important

Feels like with some added knowledge even if you get caught out as long as you don't aim like a paraplegic you can just MM and out damage no matter there rogues gear. Experienced that on both ends. Even without MM just spamming light orbs and sitting down for 3 seconds to get all the casts of it back works too
Cut throat silences you for 5 sec and cancel magic missile
@@cngblade Yeah it's the only counter to MM for a rogue, but still can't counter the light orb spam. Picking it over weakpoint makes you useless vs pdr though.
So it's just a choice between wanting to be able to do damage to plate, or the ability to safely kill a wizard you catch out of position and are in meele range of before he starts casting anything

It is the weakest class in the game against any player that knows how to fight them, if you don't, then they are cancer.
Rogue isn't weak, you just suck. Skill issue.

yeah but the hitbox is very small. LO doors is good but throwing them around in open spaces is kinda whatever, makes you feel safer but i swear the hitbox is minuscule.
The hit box is extremely small but rogues doesn’t know that, that’s why I throw a few in a same direction to make sure, and even if it’s small, if you cast it towards the Rogue he will move and make foot steps noise

Really good play, definitely super tryhard. I wonder if this is typical or you're extra tryharding for the video, lol. But even though it's great that you can outplay a cut throat rogue, I can't help but feel like we shouldn't need to do this level of tryhard just to counter a rogue because they can landmine silence our asses. Landmine silence is so dumb.. Every time I get landmine silenced it makes me really not want to play LOL.
I try hard in everything I do in life. I am super competitive guy and try to be the best.

I feel like you should mention protection pots too, with protection pot, rogue not running cuthroat cant kill you even out of invis to your missiles

It cant be applied in Asian server 😢 cause there are so many wall hacking and they use invis potion.. of course teaming..

Here's how to never die to rogues, meanwhile any skilled rogue with cutthroat
There is a section to increase your chance to survive even if you get hit. I play in top rank, all the rogues there are skilled (from blue to demi god) and running cut and they can’t kill me because I apply the tips in the video 🙂
Rogues just make wizard gameplay in caves boring af. U play like 2 times slowly because of them -_-

Dark reflection is “something like that”
Dark Reflection is that, you only need 2 swings or curses of pain and anything else dies hitting you.

Im so sick and tired of people complaining about wiz like wiz right now is pretty balance they just bad running into mm and complaining now after next patch it will be dog shit so the zero brain fighter or other w key warrior can dominate while vibbing to music there a reason why there is not alot wiz in top leaderboard anyways good video brotha just had to let it out
Find me a single clip where someone is able to dodge a magic missile spray while hit with slow or in melee range of a wizard with more than two . guy. I would love to see it.
Right now a wizard can miss all their ranged spells, misplay their spacing and still get bailed out in melee range by magic missile. Which is hitting for over 300 damage on base kit in one spray. The skill ceiling for wizard is pretty much removed at that point.
@@seanpellerin5703 just zig zag to start he will miss half of is missile plus use your crossbow cause you probably a no brain fighter shield counter missile ranger counter wiz alot of class can use there tool to kill a wiz get good just use your brain dont just w key or pick your fight fight in thight space

@@NotJaded hey 👋 thanks for support ! Well I have tried one other class, Warlock and I didn’t really like it. And other classes are just too different. I am not bored of Wizard I’ll keep playing it until something more interesting is announced 🙂

Yes, and yet so many wizards don’t even bring the spell and don’t use it. Often it’s the simplest thing that do the most 👍

What is the use of the Orb when opening the door?
Rogue will hide behind the door you light orb, so he cannot pop invis, he will fall back (which happens most of the time) that’s why you deep orb right after
By doing this no matter what he does, you are safe and out of reach

I have an easier way, use missiles and oneshot all other classes. Nothing more is needed, thank you for your attention.

yall gotta have some sort of hard counter, just like rogues are hard countered by fighters

But there are things any class can do to reduce that counter potential. For us against rogue it’s light orb, fighters against us can use crossbow …
@@cngblade if you get xbowed you are probably far enough away to retreat and heal back up, because if hes close enough to you to actually chase you down *you are probably faster* then you can probably 2 tap him in .2 seconds with broken ass gatling magic nuclear missle attack. I have actually gotten the first hit on wizards as a rogue, with full hp, and he instant mmed me before I could get 4 swings with a short sword lmao.
It takes at least 3 bandages +1 potion to heal up from a crossbow hit, it takes 1 sec to reload and press sprint. It takes 1 brain to know that rushing into a magic missile is maybe not the "smartest play". Magic missile can be canceled by a shield block if the fighter is close enough.
You know wizard are running magic missile, then why don't you run cut throat ? It's like wizard complaining about rogue but not running light orb. Nothing against you, just trying to help everyone out there, if you want to discuss we can connect on discord and and teach to each other
@@cngblade Sorry i wasnt trying to sound rude or whiney or anything. I truly believe magic missile is a bit overturned though. The only reason people don't complain more is because it's a harder class to play and requires a bit of expensive gear to be really broken so good wizards are much rarer than fighters/rogues. It is the only class where I have thought to myself "wow did that just happen?" It's not just MM I have been 2 shot by zaps with .3sec cast times etc. but they were EXTREMELY geared
wizards 1 shotting fighters, complaining like babies rogues 1 shot them. its a cycle of noob complaining about their counters
