    I have learned so much from this video. There is everything in it : amazing cinema 4D tips (the matte, tracking), x particles groupes and shaders, and compositing (that doesn't get covered enough in cg tutorials sadly). The whole result is damn impressive. Thank you so much for making this video for us. I'm exited to try out these techniques in a personal project!

    Thanks for the video, that's a nice use of 3D City models and camera tracking loved it! :)

    Very cool, does OSM2 export terrain as well?

    Hi, I'm trying to build a matte like yours. I have it set up and I can have it affect the position, scale, etc as the plain flows across. But I don't know how to get it to be invisible, then appear, then disappear like yours. Is something in yours affecting the visibility?

      I explain how I'm doing it here, th-cam.com/video/er6WlH2VDos/w-d-xo.html
      We are just using the change group modifier to move particles from one group that has the particle radius set to zero and another group that has it set to 1. Thanks again for the question cheers.

    Hey Workbench, is there anyway to replicate the effect of the city appearing without Fields ? Thanks a lot

    • @Workbenchtv
      @Workbenchtv  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you just need to use falloff on the change group modifier in stead of the fields setup.

    In your project file the particle is not following the water they were going at 75 speed in random directions

    Had some issues matching my scene to the footage even when i would make boxes that would match the shot as the video plays the proportions changed something to do with the focal lenthg being off? really not sure

    • @Workbenchtv
      @Workbenchtv  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Julian! Sorry for the delayed response. This came in while we were beginning a large project. Unfortunately, tracking is highly dependent upon source footage. We had a few shots from stock footage at one point that wouldn't track because they were scaled or stabilized. So there's not much guidance we can provide as far as tracking goes.

    how do you add the image...?

    • @Workbenchtv
      @Workbenchtv  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey the minute you click on the Motion Tracker - Full Solve it brings up a file dialog box. You pick your clip and it adds it to your scene.

    Very impressive tutorial. I selected an aria from the Open street map and downloaded. Also downloaded osm2world but no Idea how to convert it. Please some one advise me, thank you

    • @Workbenchtv
      @Workbenchtv  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should just open the osm file and then choose export to obj to convert it for use in C4D. It's explained at 3:42.

      Thanks for your reply. I have map.osm.xml file but don't know how it works

    • @Workbenchtv
      @Workbenchtv  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sarkeruddin5783 You're welcome! That might've been how it was downloaded. You should be able to remove the .xml from the end and if your OS asks you if you want to change it to osm, hit yes.

    • @sarkeruddin5783
      @sarkeruddin5783 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did, now asking for app. I twas trying to OSM World but does not work

    • @Workbenchtv
      @Workbenchtv  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sarkeruddin5783 I'm not sure about that one. If you open your map.osm file in OSM2world it should open so you can export to OBJ.

    Your content is great, but take a voice modulation class. It will change your life. You sound mumbly and half asleep. You can learn to sound completely different - stronger and more alive. It will make you feel stronger and more alive. Other people will react with more respect and trust. Classes are not very expensive.
