I love how Star Wars fans have so little faith in the actual IP holders that they've just collectively decided to make their own games now. I've been personally obssessed with the Galactic Contention Squad mod for a while which is genuinely more fun than vanilla and about as stable.
The nostalgia when you hear the sound effects from Star Wars Galexis. Good times. Edit: They also use the assets from MMO itself, and some of the designs is reminiscent of the small towns and icons from Galexies, the theme of the UI is also inspired. I could argue this is perhaps in the path of recreating Star Wars Galexies.

Oh my god Im so happy someone is talking about this, I'm trying to wrap up my first playthrough to write about it on Kenshi subreddit The one mod I 100% suggest installing is the healing pod mod which adds a bacta tank that heals your very quickly, its pretty late game but it fits w this mod perfectly
I just started a new game with this mod and was so excited to find this gem of a mod that now I'm in bed I'm too excited to sleep cuz I want to play it more so looked up some vids and came across yours, thanks for satisfying my need for more kenshi/star wars content a bit so I can at least sleep a bit thanks to you , very much enjoyed the video
Didn’t even know Kenshi existed until I read about it on a Gamerant article. I was immediately intrigued. After checking the Steam Workshop, my first thought was "There have to be Star Wars mods for this game" Now I know what I'm getting for Christmas.

To some extent, yes..they scale off your "lightsabers" skill, which replaces the vanilla katanas skill. It takes a fair bit of investment, but it's absolutely beastly by endgame
Nah, fan content for star wars is still pretty solid. Just ignore the Disney trash and their spinoffs. Star Wars mods are the best source of Star Wars content
i downloaded re kenshi but kathun isnt showing up on mod list. im subscribed to kathun, kathun rework and commando droid. the commando droid is the only one showing in my mod list HALP
Mods over 1 gig cause huge load times, its the main reason i stopped using Universal Wasteland Expantion i cant emagine what would this do to Kenshis abysmal loading times. You'd probably wait 30 to 40 seconds each time you load the game. On an SSD and modern hardware. Cant we just get Kenshi 2 already?

If youve ever played SWG youll recognize the furniture, clothing, sounds, buildings etc. The mod looks like SWG assets were used for the mod.
