      I don't know why atheists keep talking about science, atheism has nothing ,nothing to do with science. Matter of fact atheism is anti-science it's the complete opposite of the scientific approach it's a disbelief.
      Which means even if it was proven by the scientific method that the origins of life was the result of creation AKA God The atheist still wouldn't believe it's true.
      Atheists believe saying the word science equates to supplying scientific evidence😂

    This is the problem Moses. Your interpretation of the bible and love is just your interpretation. This is why we can't use religion and christianity to run the world. Because you have an interpretation, another church has an interpretation, and other church has another interpretation....so how do we decide which interpretation we run shit with? We'll end up using humanism to decide because your interpretation infighting would lead to a disaster and break down. 43:12

      @chefroxstarr9467 "Love", as our love for others, is defined pretty clearly in the Bible - 1 Corinthians 13 4-7. Is there a better, more complete definition?

    • @mosespery144
      @mosespery144 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I understand where you’re coming from, and I completely agree with you. It’s sad that interpretations have caused division and separation between mankind, this is why I don’t tie myself to a church, nor do I dive deep into bible unless I’m led. But the Bible does warn us against, not leaning on our “ own understanding “ and interpretations.
      The current understanding I have, was granted to me by the Spirit of God. A’s believers, we are then taught to test and confirm, these things that people claim to have received from God. But everything I am preaching and teaching, is Love, Respect, Unity and Freedom in Christ.
      These are all universal feelings that every soul can attest to , and I am simply trying to show, by the wisdom that God has blessed me with, is that these things and the love of God is hidden through out this entire world and the Bible itself, if we believe in Him and seek Him entirely we can receive these things as well.

      @@wwlib5390 The KJV has the word "charity" in place of love. Odd. Other editions have obviously replaced that with the word "love" but did not change the definitions. They really should have. Yes, there are much better definitions, as there are many problems with what the buybull says, and contradicts in many places, about love.
      Consult a dictionary.
      The buybull passage contains these problematic assertions concerning love: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
      These all contradict the xtian gh0d. They also are for the most part, not good descriptions of love. Basically, they all boil down to "Love believes everything" It is also screams Conditional.

    Moses (he/him) in FL is politely invited to review Matthew 10:34 _(“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword")_ and explain how it squares against his kinder, gentler vision for what Jesus' message was purported to be.

    • @mosespery144
      @mosespery144 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The sword is symbolic/ representative of Truth. For those who can’t receive truth, it’s not a peaceful and gentle pill to swallow. Because at first the Truth of God can be very piercing and a huge eye opener, when you realize, you have been deceived your entire life.

    • @mosespery144
      @mosespery144 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      But once, you receive the Sword of the Spirit ( Truth). You will have internal peace and love that vibrates off of you. But the Sword also becomes your weapon to deflect against lies and the enemy. So this sword will not seem peaceful and gentle to those who you are defending yourself against. But for those who also have the Sword of the Spirit, your words will be peaceful and refreshing and sharpen the swords of the other believers.

      And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. Rev 19:21
      I've heard apologists say that the sword is Jesus's tongue, or that it is a metaphor for something or other. It is simply ad hoc rescue and it fools no one. You are wasting your time. Atheists usually know the buy bull better than anyone (Bart Erhman is an atheist) many of us were once believers for whom the spell no longer works on.
      Why aren't the apologists "interpreting" the good parts of the buy bull so that they take on a sinister quality? Because they are in it for the money and are con artists. For example, you had a 30 minute call with Caleb, of which he was allowed to speak for 5 minutes in total (I timed it) and he never actually got to any sort of point because he kept getting cut off, and you two then rambled bordering on gish-galloping. If callers aren't being allowed to present their case, no matter how bizarre their ideas are, or flawed their logic is, if they keep getting cut off or side-tracked then they will be less likely to want to call again.

    FYI, the value of Pi varies according the curvature of the surface on which a circle is drawn. The value of Pi, commonly quoted, is that associated with a flat, Euclidian, surface. The value of Pi is different when the circle is on a curved surface, like, say the Earth.

      @Syzygy-21cm Pi is a specific value. It is based on a perfectly round circle on a perfectly flat plane.
      Pi is used in engineering and technology. It's not just to describe theoretical "perfect" geometric shapes in a textbook. I use Pi every day to convert from time to frequency domain and back.
      No object in the real world conforms perfectly to Pi. But there is still a theoretical "correct" value for Pi.

But the corruption and evil of this world, ends up tearing you down and leaving you feeling belittled. In the eyes of the rest of the world, the enemy seems stronger and powerful because they do all the talking, and they seem like they have all the answers. The devil teams up with his army and attacks your weaknesses, and a lot of the times, it feels like you are outnumbered.
      This can cause many believers, who believed that they truly found God, to quickly lose their faith and start to think that, God let them down. And maybe that the devil is right, or the devil is more powerful.
      But those who hold onto Faith and Truth, will always overcome in the name of Jesus. God frequently uses the; weakest, youngest, smallest, slowest, lamest individual, to attest to His power and His might. Love drives out all fear and evil.
      The whole concept of ‘baptism’ and ‘going through the fire’, stems from this.
      We must be drowned in our fears and worries, but through Faith and Belief in the Love of Christ, we must know that we will arise from the bottom of the ocean(fears of this world) a new creation in Christ.
      Being tried by the fire is similar, we are severely tested and tormented, but if we remain strong in Christ and hold on to Truth. We come out of the fire pure and clean.

Three to five minutes goes by and the caller doesnt get a word in to respond to any number of throw away points they made, over and over. Makes for a dull show. I might take a little flak from my friends for saying this, and that is o.k. by me as I cherish them. I agree with you, and I refuse to play their game. When their game first came out, I put a lot of time and effort coming up with good responses, and would garner the most likes for some. I never won. I would see a pattern of latest replies getting picked, ostensibly because someone did not wish to read the older replies. Also, the really corny ones were being chosen. If they would take a poll to choose the winners, rather than make an arbitrary decision, I would be onboard again. And, there is another thing to consider. They seem to care more about quantity when it comes to these comments. That is in light of the fact that they have to know about the troll comments, and are not moderating any of them, nor are they willing to allow a moderator who offered to do so for free.

      @@Screencappedhats That’s exactly how it feels when you receive the Love and Spirit of God. You try to share and enlighten others.
      Imagine if a pizza or a cake , gave up while it was in the middle of being baked ?
      Would it ever know, that it’s a delicacy, that it is so beautiful and delicious, and that it could feed so many hungry and starving people?
      Or would the pizza/cake, listen to the haters and the evil of this world.
      “ You’re just a bunch of mixed eggs, flour and sugar?”
      “ you won’t amount to anything good”
      “ there’s no such thing as a baked cake?”
      “ there is no baked pizza”
      “ nature and science shows, that we are just an egg, and we are just flour”
      “ you must be crazy?”

    I have to support Moses, the first caller. You guys DO talk to much and the caller can't uphold their end. It's very frustrating for me as an extremely long-term listener to hear the host and co-host blend into a singular, unassailable wall of monologue. Whilst I'm moaning, I really miss having some older hosts and feel underrepresented as a 50+ on the channel. As for "Jesus Resurrection", the HOSTS allowed the conversation to wander away from the caller's topic. Please, STAY ON TOPIC.

    Telekinesis. It is not demonstrated, it's not a supernatural or "esp" thing. The Smithsoniaan article is describing something that hints at the term "telepathy", but the woo woo mindreading stuff is falsely represented by using these words in the article. Just as you can move your hand with your mind, it technically is a display of telepathy. This, is the same type of function that is demonstrated in the article, it's not magical "esp". Yes, someday, this might prove useful to cripples, but it's not the magic you think. If a scientist of anybody can repeat a single supernatural occurrence, there are Billions of dollars in prize money waiting and unclaimed for years and years and years... going back to the fist million offered over 150 years ago. This aspect goes to show, that no "supernatural" event has ever been shown to this day. Please stop believing in the "supernatural", it doesn't exist. Large money is available to those who trick people into believing it is so. Gr8! Peace ☮💜Love

    I know we're using moms story of the monster under the bed as an analogy but as a parent I have to defend the general practice. In our case there's no monster, there's "the witching hour" in which all the magic that hasn't been used up in the world that day has to find a place to go and if you're a child awake there's a risk your head will turn into a toilet.
