These 2 hosts are fools (atheists) and their less-than-worthless, asinine, lost & clueless religious cult of atheism is INFAMOUS the world over for having ZERO ANSWERS. No atheist has a RATIONAL/POSSIBLE, step-by-step atheist explanation for reality. That's because there isn't one. THESE GUYS ADMIT THAT THEY HAVE NO ANSWERS!!!
The fact remains that along w/ DYING/FINITE space/matter/energy, TIME had a cause. The logical conclusion (when we follow the evidence) is that such a cause is TIMELESS. And if you're TIMELESS, do you have a beginning or end? No. We call that cause "OUR INFINITE, SUPERNATURAL GOD," who by definition is TIMELESS, CHANGELESS, BEGINNINGLESS, SPACELESS, IMMATERIAL and ENORMOUSLY POWERFUL.
These topics are the most important topics known; thus, EVERYONE should have a vast understanding of the facts that frame the truth of these topics and not be so content to gulp down the false propaganda of channels such as this one. THESE GUYS ADMIT THAT THEY HAVE NO ANSWERS!!!

      @DrJames1960c 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

God is very real. That's why NO ATHEIST can present a rational atheist explanation for reality. That’s because there isn’t one.
You say EVERYTHING came by a natural cause, yet it is IMPOSSIBLE and never will be OBSERVABLE that any part of nature can produce the human being (e.g. star dust, moist rocks, mud puddles, hot rocks, moon dirt, warm ponds, gravity, oceans, primordial soup, nothing).
Furthermore, NOTHING of the asinine, lost & clueless cult of atheism has EVER BEEN OBSERVED (e.g. multiverse, big bang, abiogenesis, mistakes (mutations) gaining in complexity/new information, evolution, gain of complexity/gain of new information/new anatomy).
NOTHING but TRUE NATURE can be observed in every moment of every day (e.g. flower bloom, reproduction, photosynthesis, digestion, respiration, top down production, gravity, sunshine); thus, the ideas of atheism do not exist.
EVERYTHING can only come from a source of EVERYTHING.
CONCLUSION: Our living, intelligent, loving, conscious and moral G0D is the ONLY OPTION for life, intelligence, love, consciousness, morality and ALL the co-existent bodily systems (circulatory, respiratory, reproductive, pulmonic, digestive, skeletal, muscular, nervous, body (skin), etc., etc.) intertwined in symmetry and order in the human body and in millions of animals that we see that same design. Atheisms = Rebellious stupidity that’s been debunked by the IRREFUTABLE FACTS (see above).

By the way, I suggest watching the movie called "Spotlight" and you will see how these religious bastions have mentally abused not only adults but, especially, little children....sexually! And, this has been going on forever...not just a recent occurrence! Religions are evil and very abusive...mentally and physically! It's not only Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny that is total fiction...God, Jesus, Heaven, Hell, Satan, Angels, and Demons are all just made up, ridiculous, superstitious, nonsense used to control and manipulate all of the gullible, superstitious goobers who fall for that ridiculous nonsense!

Her toolbox for how to determine what is reasonable and what is not, based on available evidence, is empty. I don't know that I entirely fault her for using her feelings in that situation, but I'll still fault her for not accepting it when a better tool is handed to her. it should have been pointed out early on that she declared her self an agnostic believer early on--by definition if she can't "know" god exists, she can only "feel" and "believe", then she's an agnostic on the subject, even without being an atheist. Her "God is all around us! We just can't see him without prior belief!" should have been responded to with the same assertion about an invisible unicorn and the question as to what the difference was between the claims aside from what she came to the table already believing.

As I was growing up, the longer I spent around believers in rooms full of believers, the more I thought about believing and whether it's a good idea.
See, what we all really value is supportive, fun and loving community. Believers tend to think the only way those communities can happen in the first place or the only way they can sustain is via a god. But they never can point to the god. The only evidence they have of a god is always very indirect and vague. But any new community, they sense of a god which may or may not strengthen the community or make it more enjoyable for them, which then presents as more evidence for God.
What believers really love is circular arguments. I tell young people and uncertain believers to believe until you believe, essentially. Or they lead them by example to believe until they believe.

What so many theists fail to understand is that when we learn language and social rules/beliefs, it wires the neurons in our brains into specific patterns. It's not a simple matter of changing an opinion, but literally creating new neural connections which allow for new thought patterns to establish themselves. And why old fears/insecurities can keep reasserting themselves even after years of deconversion.

And simply attacking someones point of view often causes them to just entrench themselves deeper into their neural pathways/patterns... Because that is what is safe to them.
Ive had this issue talking to theists where i just harp on the dumb shit they believe and it gets me nowhere. The way to peel a sticker is to work at the edges. I think its the same with neural pathways and thought patterns, you gotta start with the easy shit to convince them of and work at it slowly.

@Stashmo the point of proof, or rather evidence, is to confirm that their faith isn't misplaced. It takes the place of faith. With evidence, faith is no longer necessary. Human nature makes people want proof which is why religion causes so much internal conflict and questioning. For most other big decisions in life, we need to see evidence. With religion, we're told to just accept it on faith and be quiet. That goes against a huge part of what makes us human--our curiosity and desire for knowledge.

No religion humans have ever invented has had any relationship to reality, they're all make-believe, and Christianity is just that - make-believe.
You guys make up all sorts of stories about this Jesus character, but when it's boiled down to basics, it can be summed up thus: god creates humans that he knows will fail and sin according to his laws, so he sends himself down as his own son, to save us from his own wrath, then sacrifices his son to himself to appease himself, and it's been chaos ever since.
Sorry, but I just don't find that story very convincing. Your mileage obviously varies. Maybe your god could lighten up a bit? How's that for a suggestion? Or maybe you should find a more intelligent god to believe in.

Scientists, like Forrest & myself, are full of hope for results that advance our current world, they just don’t make claims about an after life. Scientific hope has resulted in curing the blind, putting a men on the moon, the internet we are speaking over, and the medical & agricultural advances that have allowed the world’s population to surge to nearly triple in my lifetime.
Having a single answer (god) to all of life’s questions can stop further inquiry. It suggests that this life only useful for preparing for the next. But if that were true, Jesus wouldn’t have instructed us to serve others in this lifetime.
Look how amazing it was that when the pandemic struck, that this time, a vaccine was created within a year that drastically reduced its mortality! How does this not offer hope? With every advancement, there is hope of new & better ways to improve this life.
Hope for what happens after death is only useful for the dead. I prefer to put my hope in knowledge & learning, and teaching that almost anything is possible if people work together.
At least until God pulls that Tower of Babel nonsense again to punish our collective pride. But next time, instead of scattering, the scientists will stay together & learn each other’s languages so they can continue. This is hope at its best!

The alternative is those believers may take more risks that get them, and others, killed or seriously injured where logic, reason, and a healthy relationship with reality may have saved them. Being confident in something you have no real reason or basis to be confident in is stupid and dangerous. What need does anyone have to walk a tightrope at all? More especially, why walk one with confidence where you have no proof a safety net exists?
There have been trials where people tested the efficacy of prayer that found those who knew they were being prayed for did worse because they didn’t follow basic followup instructions because they thought the prayer would make up for what they didn’t do. Faith healers have literally killed tens of thousands of people because they refused medical care in favor of the “safety net” of belief.
Not walking a tightrope when you know you don’t have the skill to navigate without a safety net is an intelligent decision, taking the risk because you think your unfounded beliefs in being saved by something that doesn’t exist is idiotic, and encourages those without properly developed skills to take unnecessary risks, reaching inevitable danger and death.
