- 2020 Lexus LC 500 Review and we will be taking the new 2020 LC 500 on a proper test drive. This car is my own personal 2020 Lexus LC 500, it is not a press car or a dealership car. This review is very in-depth but more videos are still to come on the Lexus LC. I will post a link to the Lexus LS500h I reviewed below:

Picking up my LC500 later this week. Just want you to know you get full credit for helping me discover this car and confirm that I really wanted it. Thanks so much for your content man!!
Whoa that is awesome sir so humbled to have you stop by here first of all. Suoer happy I could help in your purchasing decision because there are a lot of cars in this class and a lot of reviewers.
In my opinion the LC is a masterpiece of a road car, perfect for American roads you will love it.
P.S. loved your Manscape video 😆 keep it up sir and let me know your thoughts
@@MeynMotorGroup Of course man! I watched quite a few of your videos. Love to see somebody who's saying things about a car that aren't on some press sheet that a company hands out to them lol. About to watch your video on the LC vs LS right now! If I ever do a video on the LC I'll be sure to shout out your channel
Appreciate it my friend thanks again and stay blessed!
That was a great review and reflects what many lc500 feel when they drive this car.
what people don't get is 0-60 does not equate to fun. A Miata is a fun to drive car but it's not fast. A Tesla performance model is fast but it's not fun to drive. (I know because I have one)
Over 90% of car drivers don't track their cars. Having slightly better cornering abilities or slightly faster 0-60 isn't going to make a car more enjoyable on the street. You will never fully utilize what those fast sports cars are capable of on the street.
To me the LC is the best GT you can buy since it does most of what matters well. It has elements of sportiness , luxury , exotic looks and reliability. When is the last time you hear the word exotic and reliability in the same sentence?!
Then there's the sound. You will never get sick of the throaty sound that comes out of a NA V8 engine. It gets loud when you want it to be and quiet with a twist of a knob.
The interior quality is superb. Once your inside the cabin you feel like you're in something truly special. If you're not a badge whore and care more about the driving experience (over performance numbers on paper), then the LC500 is as good as it gets.
Phenomenal summary my friend that is exactly it. So many so called "car enthusiasts " love cars like the miata and they all have aspirations of owning some nonsense Ferrari for $30k which will never be pleasurable to drive. But they claim those cars to be an experience but don't appreciate the LC which i find funny. Thank you again for stopping by my friend
Spot on with your summary.. Exotic & reliability is a great point ! Obviously its a LEXUS !!
Trolls who cares about 0-60 are mostly kids.
Also, Lexus badge is still very good. Not QUITE MB or Porsche level, but there's a reason Jay-Z name drops them in his songs even after his net worth broke into 9 figure territory (now he's a multi billionaire)
There it is, no stone has been left unturned. Actually, that’s not even true, several more videos must be made. But, to all those who watched this video, thank you for your time. If you are an owner or if you have driven this car, please leave your thoughts down below. If you would like to see which car I review next, follow me on insta @exhaustsports or you may become a Patreon member. Thank you again for watching, please take care.
its amazing that go got your dream sports car i will love to also have a very sport cool looking concept car
Love the car, congrats, but what don’t you like about Clarence’s C8? I feel it’s on equal footing as the LC, but not having driven either, perhaps I’m mistaken.
You nailed this! I always tell people that Lexus is what Bentley would be if it mass produced vehicles. The LC is a showcase in how Lexus really does engineer a base drive character into each vehicle and then adds an individual spirit, if you will, on top of that for each. As evident by how you noted the ride had a similar feel to the RX. The brand as a whole is really misunderstood and you shed some great light on that!
Great in-depth review that mirror my sentiments. I bought one new with the performance pack early 2018 and don't find it uncomfortable or jittery (on Toronto/Canadian roads). I have mine fully PPF'd and drive it year-round even on snow (with snow tires and downsized 20 inch staggered alloys). Bulletproof after 40k miles, head-turner everywhere you go, grin-inducing sound every drive, great sense of speed once you become skillful with paddles and learn the engine's torque and HP curves. I tested a 911 4s, F-type R, E63S, AMG GTC and an NSX. The LC was an easy choice among those for the streets. Planning to keep it forever.
Nice review. Many people try and fit this car in a class it doesn’t belong in.
Haha yea thats true and thanks so much my friend
Personal luxury car, and a timeless best of the class.
It actually weighs 200 pounds less than the BMW 8 series and 500 pounds less than the Mercedes S class coupe it directly competes with. People complain about its weight because unlike those cars it doesn't look obese XD
Yea that is true haha most want to compare this directly with the Aston and 911s I don't really think this competes with anything its kind of in its own world haha but thank you so much for stopping by
Superb review. I remember a few years ago, reading about how Lexus came about bringing this car from concept to full production. I have been fascinated with Lexus since 1989 when the first LS 400 came out. I know you’re too young to remember that, but your appreciation for quality and engineering that Lexus puts together makes you wise beyond your years. Great thorough review. The best part is seeing how much joy you get from this car. So weird about that instrument gage, to see it move, it totally looks real, even in the video. So cool. Looking forward to watching many mor like this, and also some of your other videos. Stay grounded. Ha ha.
Ben, thank you again sir, really appreciate your kind words. Yea I tested an LS 400 with nearly 170k miles and it held up so well some of the best cars ever really got to hand it to Lexus when it comes to everlasting build quality. Thanks again for everything, stay blessed!
Good choice. This car is a masterpiece! Love the colour and the interior is stunning.
Appreciate it nick thanks for watching!
Thats because they are betas
I purchased my caviar black with Tan interior performance package at the end of 2018. I’m in Love with it still. I agree with everything you said in the video, totally hits the mark. My experience after almost two years of ownership has been nothing more than stellar.
Oh wow beautiful spec yea I really like the Caviar black and if they had tan like you got man it would be a seriou toss up between the black and this red, I may have still picked red just for TH-cam purposes since it pops but I would love to know, do people break their necks to look at your LC? The red just gets too much attention. Super happy to hear you still love your car it really is a rare breed of car that is perfectly made for street driving
Exhaust Sports Auto, it’s amazing the stares, thumbs up, and questions I get. As you said it’s unending. It’s even more emphasized because I am OCD about detailing it. It’s funny I traded in a 718 Boxster S for it on a whim, the comparison is like apples and oranges due to the type of cars. I have zero regrets.
Just finished watching the review from beginning to end this was the most thorough review I’ve ever seen on a car. I’m new to Lexus. I just bought a new 2022 ES 350 F Sport 6 months ago… but my dream car is a LC 500. I KNOW if I work hard I’ll be able to buy a car like this brand new off the lot soon. You sir, have a fantastic car and are truly blessed to own such a machine 👍🏾
Thank you my friend!
@@MeynMotorGroup You’re welcome. You give great, honest reviews and I can tell that you’re a true car guy, like me. I watched your review on the ES 350 F Sport before I bought mine. It’s been the best daily driver I’ve ever had.
@@slickpanther06 I’m humbled by that! And massive congrats the ES F sport is another underrated car that doesn’t get enough credit. They did a great job tuning that V6 to sound great and smooth. Enjoy my friend
@@MeynMotorGroup Thanks. Just subscribed 😁
Great intro music...that I backtracked the video to listen to it again. Oh yeah, the review of the LC500 was decent. Just kidding. Spot on overview Kevin.
Hey man I really enjoyed how thorough this review was! Don't stop doin what you're doin! I'm still loving this ride bro! Its perfect! 💯
Thanks so much my friend super happy that you appreciated this review
@@MeynMotorGroup yessirrr 👊🏽
Epic! The review this car deserves. True car enthusiasts get this car and I'm so glad to be living in a time where this exits. The pinnacle of Japanese craftsmanship, engineering and design. Wonderful to hear your passion, hope you enjoy it for years to come.
Thanks again! Glad you appreciated it yea not too many understand or want to understand this car but the few who do will get to experience the greatest euphoria of any modern day car.
One of the best modern cars. Congrats man!
Thank you my friend I really appreciate you stopping by!
The LC 500 is easily worth 100k, especially if you plan to keep it forever. You get excellent Lexus build quality and reliability from a car that can be daily driven. This thing will still be on the road well past 100k miles. Its a very good looking car that you don't see around every corner (its pretty much a modern day LFA). Best luxury GT on the market IMO. Definitely my ultimate dream car!
I definitely agree my friend! I do believe it is the pinnacle of quality and I know you will get this car soon my friend
Thanks Kevin, fantastic review and congrats on your amazing ride! Having been a Toyota/Lexus enthusiast for the past 40 years, you are the first reviewer I have ever come across that really gets the entire experience of owning/driving a Toyota product (other than commenting on what the spec sheet says). I feel the pure passion that the good folks from Japan put into crafting their automobile's every time I drive one :)
Thank you so much sir! And yes the mainstream I have no idea what's wrong with them but they simply refuse to accept these cars. I just reviewed cars like the C8 Corvette and other sub 2 second to 60 cars and I hate them.
You're absolutely right, you can feel the craftsmanship when inside these vehicles. Thanks again for stopping by my friend
I’ve admired this car since it came out. But damn - this review made me want to buy one. You are so right- it’s a Maserati or Aston martin built by people who know how to build a car properly.
Haha thank you so much sir. Yea thats exactly what this is and these cars are tanking in value I think buying this Certified Pre Owned makes a lot of sense
Beautiful car dude.. and its a LEXUS !! Amazing dependability/reliability, the best in the business ! As you know i have a 2013 ES350 which I bought in April 2019 with only 30,009 miles ! The original owner must’ve drove it on Sunday’s to church! LOL. Only the drivers floor mat was worn.
This LC500 is incredible... love the looks, thats JLO on wheels. !! SEXY with a BIG personality!!
Haha yea I agree sir its certainly eye catching
Wow a 2013 ES350 with only 30K...You're what I call a smart shopper, must be a Scotty Kilmer subscriber!
Greg Holman YOu know it !! I’ve been a subscriber for nearly 2 years or so ! In fact he’s the reason why I got rid of that piece of crap empty $ pit BMW X5 and got my ES350 ! THe original owner must’ve drove it only on Sundays to church , they averaged about 4K miles a year.. the drivers floor mat was the only one worn out
I had that X5 for 8 LONG months and sunk nearly $2,500 into it, couldn’t sell it privately and had no option but to trade it in for my ES350... I was overwhelmed by the ride, looks and physical condition of the X5 and the fact it was my first ever SUV, I unfortunately didn’t get a mechanic to look it over nor researched it prior to purchasing. Major mistake....
unfortunately i took a big loss on trade in, but was happy to dump it.. My ES 350 will last me 10+ years ! Best Reliability/dependability in the world
Also I haven’t bought a new car since 2000, leave that new smell for the 1st buyer... 99%of cars will depreciate, i buy them at least when they’re 3-4 years old
It’s a long video I won’t lie but it’s pleasing to watch every bit of it. I like how frank you’re. I’m really happy for you. Live life and enjoy it. I hope you make tons of money from this channel. One thing I really like is that you never forget your fans/subscribers! 👏🏿🔥
Yea haha it was a long one but again thank you I'm super humbled by your words and yes it is a pleasure to serve an amazing audience like yourself. Thank you again sir for stopping by
I saw 43 minutes and I hung out for maybe 5, life's to short, got to be moving along.
Thank you for guiding me thru buying a Ls460. I just picked up a 07,1 owner with 37k miles on it. The car is amazing!
Saw one of these in the wild today, was shocked. Gorgeous car.
Thanks for the great review..I know I am late to the party, but I am thinking of the LC as my next purchase. I’ve owned the GS 350, RC 350 F Sport, and the LS 460. When I went in for an oil change on the GS, the RC had just come off the car carrier…brand new model, I didn’t know it existed…Atomic Silver color….they handed me the keys I went for a ride and the exhaust note hooked me immediately. I drove it home that afternoon, and I would still have it if the bride hadn’t complained every time she got into it. I loved it! I moved on to an Audi A7 and a beautiful Lincoln Continental currently. I have the itch bad to get back into Lexus again, and if I live long enough, the LC will be my choice. I never had a complaint about the cars, the dealership, and the total experience of owning Lexus. Service fully covered water pump replacement on the 460 …out of warranty. Dealership was a pleasure to visit. You have made a good choice - and I recently saw one just like yours at the gas station recently…WOW! What a color! I only have 20,000 miles on each of my vehicles at the moment…so I will be dreaming awhile longer. Thanks again …you nailed it.
Thank you for making this amazing video, I don't agree with some of the things you with people liking cars like the Hellcat and stuff like that but it's not regarding the car so it doesn't matter. You worked very hard to make this video and I appreciate you sharing your experience with us I loved it and can't wait for more. Hope you don't hate me for disagreeing with something 😄
Lol how can I hate another human being for thinking and having thoughts 😅 I want the audience to express their thoughts thats what the comments are for but yes the Hellcat example is far fetched wasnt the best articulated. Can't thank you enough for all your support my friend
@@MeynMotorGroup I'm always gonna be supporting you, and don't get me wrong the part about people only caring about specs and companies not putting their soul into vehicles is a huge problem and something I talk with my friends about when I can. By the way what music did you use for the intro, it's very cool
So Google "TH-cam Audio Library" and hit the link it will take you to a database of music TH-cam allows you to use for free without issue when creating TH-cam videos. This song was called "God Fury"
And thanks again man viewers like you make this channel possible
@@MeynMotorGroup Thank you bro, and keep doing what you're doing
Nice pick up. I want Lexus to change a few minor things with this car and I would buy it. An ideal LC for me would be if they made an f sport model. I would love to see what they can do with an F model too
I know the full F is coming but I definitely know what you mean only extra things you can possibly get is the peformance package and waiting for a 2021 model year car which gets some additional tweaks
Awesome review. This has been my dream car since it came out and I will get one in white! I drove the 2019 LC in Orlando and it was the last one they had at the time. loved it!
Hey thanks so much and you will certainly have this car soon! Super happy you had the chance to drive this car and I appreciate you for stopping by!
This is the car I would like to replace my 2018 Mustang gt . I also fell in love with this car at the NC auto expo a few years back. It's every thing I want in a car. I totally get your Mustang gt analysis. This is like the fully cooked version of that car.
Same! I first properly saw this car at that Auto Expo it was the same spec as the car in this review and it just took my breath away. Yea I think Mustangs are amazing and you would certainly love this car coming from the GT thanks again my friend for stopping by
Dang! You went from a 2007 LS 460 to a LC500 in a few years? Somebody is making some good money. As young as you are, you know more about cars and the real car driving experience than many older car reviewers.Astounding!
I'm poor as hell haha all my cars are leased or financed the LC is def leased but yea TH-cam has def treated me well all because I have supporters like you thank you
@@MeynMotorGroup No probs, bro!Your reviews are as real as they come. I have spent 5 yrs raging over the absurdity of car reviewers and their unrealistic demands and expectations from a 'car enthusiasts' standpoint( in reality, i think they mean 'track racers'). But people don't buy cars to go on race tracks, do they?. We use them for commuting and everyday driving. A little performance and a very comfortable ride is all we average citizens need. Keep up the good work!
It reminds me of the Lincoln Mark 8 (A modern version). In the early 90s, ford sold a large luxury coupe with the 32V DOHC 4.6L. Some of the newer Lexus cars seem like they stole the suspension design from that platform. Down to the adjustable shocks. Mark had 4 corner air suspension, but many replace it with springs.
Umm no let's leave that there before the Lexus people see this lmao 😂
I'm so split on owning this car. I already have an RCF. I was planning on buying the new Supra but I didn't like the car. The LC looks beautiful but pretty much offers the same thrills as my RCF. Guess I will just wait and see what comes out of Toyota/Lexus this year.
Yea if you already have an RC F its tough especially since both cars have the same engine. Only main things you gain is the interior and the chassis and perhaps a bit of refinement but RC F is very bad ass I think you should wait or maybe look into a CPO LC if you like it that much
@@MeynMotorGroup , I'm gonna wait this time. 👍🏼
No harm in that my friend continue to enjoy that beautiful RC F really want to find one for a review
Supra is a bmw with toya badge. Might as well, get this lc500
First of all, superb review and I’m hoping this is not the end of your take on this car. I have one question. I’m looking into purchasing this masterpiece, and I’m assuming you haven’t had the chance to drive the 2018 model which is the model I’m looking into, would you be able to say that the drivetrain/transmission improvement made between 2018 and 2019 is worth the $20k difference in the used market? Thanks in advance!
Hey thanks so much my friend and unfortunately I have not driven a 2018 or a model with the performance package but by all means definitely get a certified pre ownee 2018 LC500 in the 60k range I do think that is the best way to buy this car despite the changes they made. If you wanted a 2019 LC used I think that would be about 75k used plus tax. If you go 2018 I would definitely recommend getting 20" wheels hopefully this helps sir
Sharp like a samurai sword, calm gentle beauty like drink a tea ceremony . ❤
The red and structural blue are nice and give the LC500 a sportier look, but I think the Caviar black just suits the car the best. Whereas the brighter colors give the car a sportier look, the black accentuates the luxury and class of the vehicle. The chrome accents pop, and not in a cheap plastic chrome kind of way. The black and chrome 21” wheels match perfectly with the caviar and chrome car. I normally don’t like black painted cars, but for the LC500 it just works imo. Conversely, I usually love matte finishes on cars, but on the LC500, I feel like it hinders the appearance of the car. Obviously beauty is subjective and is in the eyes of the beholder. At the end of the day, there really is no “bad color” for this car, it is gorgeous in any color.
Thanks for the review. Helped me make my decision to move forward with the purchase. Car is awesome.
I’ve been drooling over the LC since the first time I saw it. Probably the closest thing to the LFA I’ll ever be able to own. I’ve had my RC350 f sport for almost 3 years now and been saying that the year before Lexus decides to ditch their NA cars, I’ll go and upgrade. Hypothetically been trying to decide between the RCF and LC already even though it probably won’t be anytime soon, but a girl can dream.. 😂
I was the same way been drooling since I saw the LC concept in 2012. But hey you have an awesome ride tho I love the RC 350 F sport such an epic car in its own right. LC is definitely as closes as us normal people will get to owning an LFA. These things drop like rocks in value, Certified Pre Owned might be a great way to get into one. Thanks again for stopping by!
Nice content!!! You have a new subscriber, plus you are in NC!!!
Hey nice content dude but could you by chance review the 2020 Honda Civic Sport hatchback there's not alot of content for it I just purchased a black one yesterday.
I have been wanting to do a Civic for sooo long now but I don't get Honda press cars and Honda dealerships in my area don't give me anything to review either its so annoying. I think I might have to settle for a 2019 to review but massive congrats to you my friend Civic is a great ride!
This car is insanely sick! The intro makes the review 10x better! What's the background music in the intro!?
Haha thank you my friend song was God Fury you can find it if you type in TH-cam audio library into google
I think you are spot on, spec sheets matter to most, but for enthusiast you enjoy the intangible. I exchanged my 77’ 450SL for a more reliable 24” LC convertible. Soul and reliability trump need for speed unless you are on the track.
You should drive in the UK… people should sit a driving test every few years not just once at 17 years old here in the UK. Thank for the reviews on the LC I’m in the market now so looking to buy one. I have owned 7 Lexus’s over the last 14 years and all have been amazing! I will not buy another brand, they give me everything I ever need.
def gona get one of these. I was contemplated a c8 but this video does make you ask yourself do you really want to just be going 0-60 in 2.8 sec constantly when you are going to the store or what not. Just goes to show how our society is so addicted to adrenaline and dopamine that what we measure a cars worth primarily its 0-60.
sick car , the best decision of your life ! Btw i see u really hang it on those floor mats gotta keep em clean :D
Hahahaha yea lol but I got the original Lexus rubber mats specifically made for the LC now from the dealership looks much better now lol
It is odd that they did not do the steering column cover in the same color as the rest of the interior. By the way, I think interiors should be done entirely in the different color: For example, the manufacture offers red seats, I want the rest of the interior to be color-keyed, not black. I'm glad you're able to get it!
Awesome review. Love the fact that you tell us exactly why to buy this car to use on day to day basis and NOT TRACK and do burnout with.
I am currently leasing Benz E450 coupe. Really looking to get this one as next daily driver - IN YELLOW only :)
One big decision I need to make regarding this car - I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and wondering if this would handle Winter weather and snow. I can't even find winter tires in this size.
Appreciate you my friend definitely blessed to have an E450 coupe beautiful car. Maybe with snow tires you will be good they do exist its made by pirelli but this is definitely a second car for most I would certainly have an awd car on stand by as I'm sure you probably wouldn't want to ruin this car in the snow either lol
Awesome review Kevin! My favorite line you said was, “this interior makes all other interiors look like a motel 6 interior” lmao! 😂🤣😂
Haha thank you sir so much for watching glad you got that far lmao can't wait for your next upload!
Exhaust Sports Auto You’re welcome my friend, I watched the whole video. 😊
Wow you're the best sir super grateful to have a friend a supporter like yourself sir. One day we certainly need to link up
Exhaust Sports Auto Ditto 😊
I have a 2016 350 IS Fsport AWD and I love it even though I know many cars are faster it just has a great sporty feel without being harsh. The grip is good enough to toss it around so I can only imagine this LC driving experience.I love the lines and styling as well as the new LS500 large car.It exudes class.Styling has alot to do with what I shop If I am not impressed with the styling Its hard to convince myself to test drive a car.To get the styling right and have that exceptional driving experience(Steering and braking) and the feeling you get of class that a car exudes is really the overall I looking for.I have to say I almost got a VW Arteon as an everday driver but they wouldnt budge much on price its very nice car and I did like the unique styling and the driving experience.Fully loaded under 50 not as sporty as the Audis I drove but it was roomier for me and almost as good not a huge downgrade from the A3 or A4
That is awesome I freaking love the IS such an epic car especially as a V6 and F sport package you did great with that car and resale value is going to be stellar
Yea I agree styling is very important you need to love the car emotionally as well. Thanks again for stopping by
Very good review! That's interesting how is it heavier than expected for a coupe but it still handles and drives nicely despite the weight.
Yea they did their magic with that chassis for sure. Thanks again my friend for watching
its actually a little lighter than the BMW 8 series so its right in the ball park
The only thing wrong with the car is the infotainment very finicky and no where as good as the Mercedes tech. Lexus sort that out they'll sell a lot more of these. Good review thanks. Have you tried the lc500h ?
at 14:30 where you talk about your initial concerns about the ride quality and how you were thinking of getting 20inch wheels etc. I have these exact same thoughts, word for word. I am happy to hear that it's not a problem anymore (never was?) especially in the newer models like the 2020 and now the 2021. The tire noise is expected because, like you said, it is unavoidable at that width, they are Massive.
I'm not even 15 mins in and i'm already typing a blogpost. Sorry about that lol.
Your reviews remind me just a tiny bit of savagegeese if that makes any sense. Keep it up man, i am really happy for you and your LC.
Yea 2019 and up you should be good with the 21" set up but if you are getting a 2018 model year used I would look into the 20" set up. Thanks again my friend Im super humbled by your words and yea haha Savage and I share a lot of similar thoughts on cars of course we differ in certain places but really only in subjective things like aesthetics thanks again for watching
I love interior design! Exterior design is awesome! And that red color is 😎👍👍👍
True!
Couple of video ideas. First rock chip. First door ding.
Coupe vs Convertible, which one to pick? I am undecided, can you help?
Beautiful car. Well done Kevin man.
“infared” was introduced on the RCF @ its original launch and on the RC Fsport if I’m not mistaken
I hope this video gets 1M views!!!
Haha I do too but I doubt it lol 😆 no clickbait or excessively large cleavage in the thumbnail
She's beautiful and I'm sure it's a wonderful experience driving her Bro!! Great and realistic review as usual!!!
Thanks again!
Orgasmic interior holy shit. Who the hell would choose the black interior over this?? Can't wait to get this in a couple of years.
Haha yea it's almost criminal to get the black interior with this car but some like the cleanliness aspect of it...I still need the tan lol. You will def get one my friend but I will say, used inventory is depleting fast even for the LC ever since Lexus announced they wouldn't be producing V8s anymore. There was at one point 120 used LC nationwide, now there are only 67 pretty crazy
@@MeynMotorGroup that is crazy, do you think it might appreciate in value like the LFA? Imagine the fun in owning one for 10 years and selling it at a profit lol
@@oof8850 oh no I don't think it will be as bespoke as the LFA but I think it might maintain value similar to a nice Porsche 911 maybe. Who knows tho no one can really predict these things. I'm def hanging on to it that's the plan
I have driven the version with the dynamic rear steering. The handling is great. Lexus treats each markets differently. To get the 21" forged wheels, I will have to opt for the dynamic rear steering, carbon fiber roof, active rear spoiler, alcantara seats. Also, the pre crash system, adaptive cruise control is a standard feature.
Nice yea Im sure its great and would love to test out a model that has the performance package very nice car to drive for sure
@@MeynMotorGroup also if possible try comparing with the multistage hybrid.
I've driven the LS500h I just hated the pumped in audio through the speakers
@@MeynMotorGroupit's the same platform as the LS. Is the pre crash system and adaptive cruise control a standard feature ?
Yea all that is standard and yes the flagship lexus cars have their own luxury platform that they share
ABSOLUTE PERFECTION 👌😍 & BEAUTIFUL TOP LUXURY GT CAR 😎👍
Nice review. Could you please throw some light on the 10 speed gearbox ?
Yea my apologies i touched on it in the review a few times but didn't go super in depth and that's my bad. The 10 speed is phenomenal and the amount of gears shouldn't bother anyone because it behaves more like a 5-6 speed transmission the additional 4 gears are just over drive gears for high way driving. Shifts like a dual clutch when you're on it but shifts like an ES lexus when you're just tooling around never experienced such a dual nature gear box like this its a quality driving experience no compromises made I personally couldn't find anything to fault with this car driving wise
Very informative review. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Such a beautiful car
Ok I just test drove this in Vegas (the only one in town) and it’s a fantastic car. Definitely working towards this one.
Nice! Super happy you got to experience this car. I've driven so many vehicles lately that are supposed to be "better" than the LC and they all disappointed.
Drove the C8 Corvette, Maserati GT, and a BMW M3 E93 V8, all disappointed me compared to the LC. Hope you get one my friend
@@MeynMotorGroup I have a C6 and a C7 and its a totally different type of car. Definitely on my goal list, congrats on your new purchase man.
Nice now those are some great vettes you're very blessed to have those! And thanks again!
Well done for achieving a dream 😎 I have the envy 😁
You too will have it soon my friend
Ha, your ramble about the sword and tea sounded like the "It puts the lotion on the skin" type of crazy :)
the cool thing about this car is your comments on how you like older, heavier cars. This has the engine and style of an older-style car, but still has a modern and high quality interior. the best of both worlds. So glad you did not get a Hellcat instead of this. Screw Hendrick dodge, I hate that place and I have a dodge.
I didn't want to name any names but yes lol I did go there very surprised to see how reluctant dodge dealers are at selling me a Hellcat lol but oh well and glad you likes the tea pot thing haha
Nicely done as always.
Thank you my friend really appreciate you watching!
I am waiting for more video about your LC, remember I am going to buy one too.
Heck yea definitely more to come my friend you should be very excited for your purchase
I am looking for a good deal, and also when I got mine, let's meet in the middle of the country, between North California and North Carolina.
Haha damn thats a hell of a drive but yes I do want to meet up with a lot of my subscribers and other LC owners for sure
When u get the opportunity u should try reviewing a Lexus lc with eh performance package. I've seen on forums where ppl have said that handling-wise, it felt night and day different lool
Yes I definitely want to check one out
Do a head-to-head with '10-13 Jaguar XKR. I know it's discontinued but I think it's the best value for a used sports Grand Tourer.
I've been looking for that car had the opportunity but it got sold
Great review, f cars are beautiful in person, infotainment is the weak point tho. Regardless great car but still prefer the rcf 😅. Also thoughts and possible review on the 2016-2017 accord coupe exl v6
Will try to get a manual version of that car to review! Definitely want to feature more Hondas on the channel
Awesome looking car. Can't wait to see one on the road
Thanks and yea its rare for sure
It’s 11:10 pm and I have to wake up at 5:45 am to go to work but i saw you uploaded so it looks like I’m getting an hour less of sleep 😂
Oh man I apologize haha this was also the longest video I have ever produced lol I would rather you get the sleep the video will be here haha. Thanks again my friend for the support I'm super grateful
Exhaust Sports Auto No problem man I absolutely love your videos, would like to meet you some day!
@@johntaki2704 I'm so humbled thank you! Yea I would love to meet my audience members as well hopefully one day that can happen!
Exhaust Sports Auto Hope so!
Damn i love this car so much! But i might have to settle with gs f when price drops just enough
Haha GS F is definitely not settling still a very sick car but the used prices on LC 500s are dropping dramatically which I think is the best way to buy one
@@MeynMotorGroup yep, here in the UK used LC500s with less than 10k miles have already dropped in value by £30K. It's crazy but at least this way I can afford it!
@@ea3414 exactly my friend haha enjoy
I think this is the spiritual successor to the original LS400.
Thats a good way to look at it the last coupe tho was the SC400 or SC430
Yeah Boy that thing's the mutts nuts, it's a stunning thing and I think Lexus have done a brilliant job with it, with those big doors how do you find getting into it in those tighter car parking places?
Haha yea i agree for sure and yea its hard for sure to squeeze in and you have to be worried about the bolster but that's why I don't park in tight spaces haha I'm acres away from everyone lol
dream car, for now my sc400 will do haha
SC400 is a LEGEND been looking everywhere for one to review but owners like you never give them up easy haha enjoy it my friend and you will have an LC soon
Congratulations!
Thank you John!
Great song overlay lol. Knew what was playing from the first note. Used to be mad intense.
Glad you liked it haha I've kind-of stopped doing intros for car reviews because they were just taking too much time but kind of had to make an intro for this one despite how long the video already was lol
@@MeynMotorGroup understandable. I'm sure many of us appreciate the "let's get right into it" factor anyway. So far this is like the "no bullshit, no padding" channel. At least, seemingly
Haha I appreciate that my friend but yea there are also those who skip right by the intro so I kind of stopped the intros for that reason as well
@@MeynMotorGroup oh does YT tell you that stuff? That's dope
Yea kind of so I can see a graph of viewer retention and you can see where people drop off or if you see a spike in retention after a drop off then you know a lot of people skipped a certain part to get to the next part. I noticed people skipping intros and back when I talked about exterior and interior at the beginning of the video, they would skip the middle when I start driving lol. So I just ditched the intro and put the driving segment at the beginning
Very nice video 👍👌
Do they make a manual transmission?
Hey do you think the mark levison sound system in a 2018 es350 worth it or the stock speakers good enough
speaker upgrade is worth it no matter what if you love music
Yea I agree the stock is fine but if you can get the ML it is noticeably better
Thanks guys noted
Congrats. bro
im going to test drive one on monday, even though i am unsure if i want to wait for the F version. i'll be asking the guys at lexus if they have any idea when (if) it comes out.
Nice please comment your thoughts after you do would love to hear about them. Have you driven any comparable cars you like for example porsche jag amg etc?
@@MeynMotorGroup 15k miles in the first gen f type r (the RWD one) and a test drive or two in a 911 S. What you said is 100% true though, a few years ago I wanted a gtr nismo, but I am leaning much more toward a luxurious car now
Beautiful I love the F type truly one of most favorite driving cars and you even got the R version. Porsches are also one of the better German cars. Glad you got some seat time in proper cars. Very curious as to how you will like the LC especially since it does not have as much power on paper compared to.what you're used to
@@MeynMotorGroup the car was amazing, but i made a mistake of going to an independent "exotic" dealership, they went back on their word and did not let me test drive even when proof of msrp funds were shown because I wasn't "planning on buying it today". The over all experience was bad and very pushy. Ill be reaching out to a real lexus dealership and going that route in the future.
Did you buy it brand new or used?
Leased new
Is this Matt Farrah's million mile Lexus ?
Good video. Thanks!
Thanks for watching my friend!
im surprised you can't move the bulsters on the seat my previous lexus gs350 f sport had 14 way adjustable seats!
Yea exactly that was crazy in my.opinion lol love the GS btw
Did you keep your LS just in case you need 4 doors on a particular day?
I don’t own any of these cars anymore sold everything to buy a home
@@MeynMotorGroup Ooh ok, I didn't know that bro, I knew you were very happy with them!! Hope the new home is treating you well.....
@@MeynMotorGroup I'm actually watching your LC and LX video wright now
@@andrewjacobson556 appreciate it my friend yea I really loved these cars LC was def my most favorite new modern car but oh well, yea the home is fine thanks again and I appreciate you going back and watching some of my content cheers
@@MeynMotorGroup 🍻🍻!!
will you trade it in for the newer lexus LCF
I don't think so and also the LC F might be like 200k. Getting an NA V8 is so rare today and the LC F will be a twin turbo V8 it will for sure be a beast but if God willing, the dream would be to keep this and get an LC F haha but I'm good this car is the top for me rn
Thanx bro going to check it out soon as I get home have a good Saturday with your baby red bro 😎👊🏾✊🏾👍🏾
Haha no.worries my friend its a long one safe travels
Exhaust Sports Auto nice bro the more time the better nice out enjoy the weather 👍🏾😎
How practical is the LC 500 as an every day driver?
Not very lol
@@MeynMotorGroup just got mine. 2020 lc 500 inspiration series. Dude awesome!!! I think if I didnt watch your vids on it, I wouldn't have bought it.
$102,000 taxes and title included. Is that a good price?
Also, one thing to note.
The big silver volume knob is mad hot when you first get in the LC if it's been sitting in the sun, mad hot and stays hot for a minute
@@MeynMotorGroup lol, taking it to work every day. F*ck it. Dude, the silver volume knob gets mad hot when the car is sitting in the sun. You can cook an egg on it.
I found that the lc 500 comes with remote start but you have to pay like $80 annually for enform. Truly Disappointing.
I want one!
love the red
Thank you my friend and yes I think its up there now as one of my favorite colors too
@@MeynMotorGroup I love the mesa red and sonic red that Lexus make
Are the tires run flats?
Yes!
@@MeynMotorGroup no min spare? Do you think the handling may change if you change them to conventional ones?
Hmm probably will have a bit more grip making it even harder to slide but I think really most importantly the ride would get slightly smoother and there would be less tire noise
@@MeynMotorGroup i agree thats exactly what I did with the sc430.
Great choice, stunning car👌🏾Congrats !!
Thank you my friend
Did you try out the RC F?
I haven't! I really want to tho I know it would be great
Come on man. You can’t be rolling in that sweet ride with a Kirkland water bottle in the door pocket!
But I'm a peasant actually I'm really not even meant to be in this thing lol
Exhaust Sports Auto I feel you bro. I purchased my first Lexus this year (2020 GX460) and I still don’t feel worthy driving it. My previous cars Tacoma, Prius, 2000 civic SI.
it looks similar to the 300zx except updated.
looks Amazing but for my taste needs 600+ HP and Turbo Boost.
Yes sir let's go to jail forever!
@@MeynMotorGroup not here in Germany.
15:30 that guy tho 😆
What you on about?
Love your video, man, no homo
Haha you're good my friend
If I were to get a car this expensive I would want to turn heads everywhere I went. Does this car achieve that?
Oh my gosh dude this is Ferrari levels of attention I for one don't even want all this attention but that red paint was too pretty to pass up
I saw this car in person today at a Toyota /Lexus dealership and I thought I was going to have a heart attack when I first laid my eyes on it. It was such a sensory overload. It's like he says, cameras don't do this car justice, it has such a unique beauty that can only be truly appreciated irl. No other car I've seen has such perfect mixture of menace and breathtaking beauty. It looks like it was made in another, more advanced world. So, yes, this car will definitely attract attention on the roads.
Haha yea my friend that's exactly how I felt when I first saw this car at an autoshow, it truly was a jaw dropping experience for me.
It certainly has an extraterrestrial look that is different from any other car on the road. It's certainly been my most favorite driving experience so far, and certainly one to cherish as this may be the last V8 Toyota Lexus product. Thanks again for stopping by my friend
Outstanding vehicle no doubt about it & If we were living in 'Normal" times I'd be more interested but we're not! Therefore considering the times we're living in I'll hold onto my 2014 Ford Focus HB with 56K that I recently bought for 9K (Red BTW) thank you very much! I'd rather stay liquid just in case I need to flee the country at a moment's notice before the next shoe drops! The days for impressing people with beautiful homes clothes & cars is out & in with with Crypto currencies, Precious metals & Farm land. A car is a terrible investment & at the end of the day it's just a mode of transportation. But that Lexus is definitely eye candy, But Kevin you don't seem to fit that vehicle or should I turn it around that that vehicle doesn't seem to fit you!...Okay, I admit it, I'M JEALOUS!!!
Haha cars are never a good purchase this world is kind of done for I think before they kill us off completely I'm going out with a bang lol life can't be done over 1 life and 1 death but I don't think people should be reckless either lol thanks for stopping by
