Yep. Like ultimate Tenkaichi but they didn't do that because it would still be ugly since the beams look too low budget. They're all the same size. It would look weird so they had to try to hide it by giving us that cheap spinning camera with the dimensions breaking to try to wow us over as if we're slow. Fans want to say the game is perfect though. Perfect where?

I really don't care about the Dimension Break being for every character, I just HATE the stupid spinning camera. It looked bad from the first day I seen it. Literally just use the wide view beam clash from the og games. Beams also need to be bigger ngl. Maybe for some beams could be skinny (Like that instant Kamehameha that Gohan does on Cell). But Final Flash, Gigantic Roar, etc need to be BIG.
Imagine if the camera wasn't spinning and we did get a side view of the clashes. It would look so bad because the beams are all the same size and they look low budget. The spinning and dimension breaking effect is only there to try to distract you and hide the fact that it looks bad. Think about it. The beams don't even move in the beam struggles... Also when you're in sparking and you get to teleport, it's not actually a teleport. In this game your character just turns invisible and reappears.. so cheap looking smh
another annoying thing on top of epileptic seizures and the dizziness inducing spinning, the clashes seem to teleport both fighters to an even plane in the air. So no more top down struggles either.
And some of these ki blasts are way waaaay too small

i love moments in bt3 when beam clashes would be RIGHT IN THE FACE and both players are engulfed in a ball of brightness of massive scale. Or one player being on the ground and the cpu launching a massive sized blast across the map in the air getting bigger as in closes in and you purposely wait then launch yours blast that is much smaller at the perfect moment and win the clash.

Those point blank beam clashes are terrifying you never know who's gonna win but it makes it all the more fun
Yeah, it looks cool, but it is laggy when it's that close, they probably did this move to have the game not lag and can save resources, I mean the stages are more detailed, I know the consoles are more powerful now, but end of the day there are limits to what they can do and have to work within the limitations, i mean we haven't had beam struggles since like UT, I think, I'd rather have something that some people think is bad, I personally think it's pretty cool and a nice in universe way of saving resources and keeping the game running smoothly.

I hope thats true. I want to recreate kamehameha vs galick gun and Gohan vs SP Cell beam clash the right way and if that break dimension, it would be very dissappointing.....
For me they don't show it because they know that nobody likes it and they don't want more people to find out how bad they are compared to a game from 2007 😂

I feel like those beam clashes that break reality should only happen to certain characters, having every character doing that is a bit off imo. Still getting the game regardless though 🤷🏾♂️

You notice that huh.. it's low budget. It's one thing for the beams to all be the same size but then the beam struggles are just a cheap low budget cutscene now..yeah idk how to feel about that one. People with common sense can also see that it's not just the beams that are low budget. When you watch the game in motion it's pretty damn glaring all the way throughout. That's why the game looks stiff.

Ultimate Tenkaichi did do it the best. They couldn't make it like that in this because it would show all their flaws so they added all those unnecessary effects to try to hide them and they did a bad job of that because it just goes into a generic cutscene. You can be on the ground and your character ends up in the air because it's the same cutscene no matter what.. that's disrespectful. We gotta call it what it is and then they sit here over a year and a half ago talking about the game has been in development for 5yrs.. so in damn near 7yrs you're telling me this is what we get out of a billion dollar company? Nahhh. They're only fooling kids with that shit and even a lot of them can see the issues
For the people who say this game needs another year of development in addition to the 5 it currently has this game would have to complete with a GTA 6 release and that’s not feasible in the grand scope.
you seriously think gta 6 is gonna effect how many people play sparking zero lol? people are still gonna play, gta 6's release is gonna Impact every game, no matter the era or release period, it WILL be the number 1 game ever played, id go as far as to say it will surpass minecraft in terms of sales and stuff In the long run, well gta 6 is an adult game so only time will tell

My biggest complaint is the camera during the beam clashes, the constant spinning is mind numbing. I don’t know why they decided to change it up now when beam clashes have had the same or similar formula for decades.

@@Eratic_bhavior Raging Blast is the last 3D fighting game I can remember having beam clashes. But the last 3D dragon ball game that I can remember having beam clashes was Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, and that game came out in 2020.
I also don't like how SSJ Rage Trunks has SSJ Trunks Hair but SSJ Rage moveset & aura, when his hair is depicted properly in cover art... And yeah, not all beams should be the same size. SSB Gogeta's seems so weak & tiny, same size as early DBZ Base Goku...

That's not even rage trunks aura tbh. They mixed in rage with super Saiyan so we have an in between because rage aura is more intense and he has plasma like ssj2 and 3.

This is how it should be the dimensional break should only be exclusive to Gogeta and Broly PERIOD!!!..but you should still be able to clash from any angle even at point blank range and the camera rotation should also be removed!!..the other beam struggles should show the stage with rocks and debris flying up while the 2 blast are moving back and forth to see who’s winning and you still should be able to clash from any angle like in BT3🔥🔥because when it came to beam struggles in BT3 they had more flexibility!!! and we’re on Unreal Engine 5 now Cmon Bandai!!..😂
I noticed the fake clash in the cell caga trailer as well lol. Im glad people are finally not afraid to critique the game, i actually hate everything about the clashes, i think not having one in a pvp game in so long made anything we got look amazing for the first few weeks

I’ve already got the ultimate edition of this game pre-ordered so this really won’t make or break the game for me, but it is rather annoying this won’t be fixed. Or at the very least they won’t add different types of beam clashes depending on characters and moves. But the beam clashes in this game are really the only issue I have with it and I’ve seen a lot of sparking zero so far.
It’s crazy how the beams don’t even show no progression like they did in the old games and it just spins. It looks way too similar to dragon ball legends beam clash 😂😂

At this point it will release with the shitty spinning camera clash, but we need to keep sending feedback for them to add the classic beam clashes, I don’t even mind the reality break but the positioning just being neutral every time and the spinning camera really are a deal breaker

No they won't. Think about it. Why would it take us to complain about split screen for them to think about a solution to that 🤔. This would've been something they already thought out had they really been putting passion behind this. I don't care about split screen personally but I'm saying that's just another issue I noticed.. the beams are all the same size.. they can't give us a beam struggles because the beams look too low budget so they take us into this spinning cut scene to try to hide the flaws. The characters all move very stiff and low budget . They try to hide that by giving us all this destruction and cloud effects.. it's bad. The game will be good overall but I can't sit here and say they put love and passion in this because then I would be just as much of a lier as they are. They just want our money.
@@Chiefland7 there is still like 2 months left for the game to come out I'm sure they'll refine and smooth out everything before release. This game has a lot going on so I'd imagine it's quite hard to work on everything at once.

Rose being the exact replica of goku in terms of animations and combos. They had a chance to make rose unique with his blade but they gave him a martial arts moveset
Honestly the different dimension scene was probably the worst part of that Broly movie for me, the CGI and vibrant background made things hard to follow combined with the camera being all over the place (and it felt like it’s only purpose was to either make the fight more digestible or just to show that Gogeta and Broly are strong enough to do… exactly what Majin Boo did back before Super existed). I think I wouldn’t be too annoyed with it in Sparking Zero if, say, only two ultimates clashing would do the dimension-thing while regular supers don’t. Because I mean two ultimates clashing would be quite rare in-game.
I mean this is the first tenkaichi I’ve ever played, I was born when tenkaichi 3 came out lmao. So these beam clashes are the first I’ve really been here for in the franchise. I don’t really mind them 🤷🏾♂️

Honestly, if i had to assuke, the beam sizes are probably consistent to keep the destruction mananable.
If we had cannon vs Cell Final Flash it would have to calculate customized deletion of half the map, while making sure dynamic destruction is working properly (like how only chunks of buildings are destoryed)
to be fair, i think beam size is fine. i think they'll do like they did before, where if you put levels into your beam through the stats menu then your beams will be bigger and thicker. Obviously I cant know for sure but we know you can customize stats, we know it was a feature in the past, and doing it this way allows all beams to grow in size if the person levels the stat.
I think its because every beam is homing and a giant homing beam might be considered broken to them
@@xXSonTJXx yeah thats a great point too. i remember one of the early gameplay with Burter vs tien, tien shot a dodon ray and butter dodge 3 frames early and still got hit . i found it weird so I counted the frames and dodon ray, as skinny as it was, the edge clipped him. long story short, I think you hit the nail on the head, thick beam pluss tracking = hard to dodge
Pretty much the same critiques you have but I will add camera angles needs to be adjusted. I’m tired of seeing what it looks like under the ground
I could care less about the beam clash issue personally, this game already looks stunning and I can't wait to see what they'll add to it next.
And personally, I could see them improving this in the future, after all, the game is by no means finished.

In my opinion I think they would catch this out especially seeing Yamcha vs Krillin breaking the galaxy, I really have no problem with the spinning but I do not like the power leveling. But the game is still not out yet so we will just have to wait and see.

I dont like the Beam Sizes it irritates me that Vegetas FINAL FLASH which was the size of like 1/10th of the planet is now a OG Dragonball kamehameha size, The damage of Everything is wayy too damn high One super does a whole bar without being in Full power mode, Mid Gokus ssj hair Still isnt accurate to its actual look I see that ite fluffy now but thats Not the model of his hair its just cell saga ssj without the lines, and I Also hate the beam clashes I wish it was just like Tenkaichi 3 or Ultimates cause those were peak Clashes, And also the muscle mass on some characters.

Yeah spark zero beams need to be bigger, also the camera need to chill. Like go left and right, but not overwhelming. Other than that the game looks good.

I dont have a problem with beam size since they are more manga style. Final flash in the manga was pretty small. However the dimension breaking sucks. I blame the Broly movie. The good thing is drgaonball games get content for years so eventually we could have a post game fix

Bt4 mod did beam struggles and rush clashes perfectly by making them a button smash fest, it felt more fair than base Bt3. Less restraining on the players hands and you didn't have to to worry about destroying the analog stick. Imma wait for a 40 dollar sale on sparking0... it doesn't look bad but it's obvious they cut some corners. I honestly would've perferd if they'd ported/remastered the old games then made sparking zero like what vicarious visions did with the crash bandicoot games, still baffling that we never got ports of the og trilogy on modern hardware.
Raging blast wasn't a true "tenkaichi" game and neither is sparking zero to an extent, it's similar enough and closest to the OG trilogy gameplay but the dev team is really doing there own thing, I just the game is good in it's own right.
I wouldnt spend anymore than 40 on this. They are already putting dlc characters day 1... And i dont even have new gen consoles. Im still playing ps3 😂

I don't believe they made the beams skinny for no reason. In fact, I think beams being skinny is for the best. Imagine having to deal with a massive blast from across the map and not being able to dodge it despite the distance. SS2 Gohan's Father-Son Kamehameha was unblockable in BT3 so that would be so hard to deal with, especially considering the speed at which beams travel in this game.
Another thing is visibility. The larger the beam, the more space it covers on the screen and the more difficult it becomes to track your opponent. Maps being as huge as they are, if the beams were made any larger, it would be a visibility issue. Besides, most ultimates become large enough to swallow opponents whole upon impact so it's a non-issue. They did the same with Raging Blast, after all, and that game had significantly smaller maps than SZ.
Can massive beams be made to work in the game? Yeah, but it would have to come at significant detriments like reduced speed or increased recovery that would affect the feel of shooting out raw supers. What SZ has accomplished is a fine enough compromise in my eyes. It's a take on the old classic that I'm completely okay with.
They do need to fix many things like the dimension break thing during beam clashes, character models and whatnot. I don't mind the spinny camera as much, but it would be nice to see who was actually winning the clash while the camera spins around.
We got literal gold being brought to us and you're upset about the lines on boots 😂 camera fix yes but we humans just cant be grateful for a series revival going as hard as it can

But this game is so fast paced that when you had the side camera locked and saw the beams struggle pushing each other it was a nice break for your eyes 😵💫 lol also it just looks way cooler. Or they could have like 3 different locked camera angles so it's not just 1 all the time. But the one they got now isn't it AT ALL 😮💨 hopefully it will get fixed 🤞

I dont like that beams stay in the middle there is no progres showing who is wining it should move based of who is wining the clash and not stay in the middle and not in certain time period who did more rotations on the stick because you vant have that moment you go crazy i got even more power and start spining that stick evven faster
Think y'all are confusing the characters power in the series vs how broken they could be in the game. I wish we would just start judging the final product. Alot has changed since that very first trailer. It feels like nitpicking more than anything

The team beam class between goten and trunks vs kale and caulifa didn't do the shatter thing.
They were using the attack’s animations instead to hide the beam clash
They have done it pretty much every trailer outside the first one where they showed the dimension beam clash

I dont like the Beam Sizes it irritates me that Vegetas FINAL FLASH which was the size of like 1/10th of the planet is now a OG Dragonball kamehameha size, The damage of Everything is wayy too damn high One super does a whole bar without being in Full power mode, Mid Gokus ssj hair Still isnt accurate to its actual look I see that ite fluffy now but thats Not the model of his hair its just cell saga ssj without the lines, and I Also hate the beam clashes I wish it was just like Tenkaichi 3 or Ultimates cause those were peak Clashes, And also the muscle mass on some characters.
