    Great song, and Hank sang it and brought it to life. When he sang you felt like you were actually on the banks hearing them sing!

    Awesome, but you have to raise the speed of this video to 1.5 to get the same temp as Hank and the drifting cowboys. Hank did a great tribute to Jimmie on the mother’s best program.

    The steel guitar (no pedals back then) player is undoubtedly Charles Mitchell who led a band that recorded with Jimmy Davis. Most famously Mitchell is co-writer with Davis of the classic song "You Are My Sunshine", which may or may not be the case. There's allegations the song was bought from its true composer.
