I'm with John. there is no QUEEN without THE queen. If I dont hear his voice there is no point of watching their lives. They are still amazing but there are not the QUEEN.
its roger and brian touring with lambert and playing the back catalogue, but it can't be Queen without deac's and freddie, and it really annoys me when i see "Queen's new front man adam lambert", he's not in Queen, he is touring with brian and roger and that is all, the yanks turned their back's on our band in the mid 80's just because they dressed as women but now they can't get enough of them 🤷♂️ fickle fans 🙄 not once did the uk turn on them 👑✊🇬🇧

John left Queen saying something like "there is no point in it" - it was his decision - but he kept taking care of the business. I've also read that Freddie was the peacemaker in a band of very strong personalities with a lot of quarrels. I've also heard/read that Brian and Roger in particular disagreed and fought over this - and they are happy to be better friends - and that it "clicks" between them as soon as they play. Roger and Brian chose Freddie to be the new frontman in their band "Smile" - and he suggested the name "Queen" - . - so in a way you are right - without Freddie there would be no Queen - but a Smile. Roger and Brian have been half of Queen - they have written a lot of the songs and made them spectacular and they are very talented musicians - among the best. Freddie was out of the world - - but should his death stop the world of his music as well?? You can watch Freddie and John on You tube - and listen to the albums - and let Roger and Brian go on with musicians of their choice - playing their own music - remember they all orchestrated the songs - not only the one that came up with the idea - - . Freddie was a very humble person that took care of everyone Around him - I think that he would dislike all the haters - if he could allow himself to do that - I think he would forgive you - but not agree.
Brian and Roger have done an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING JOB of introducing some of the most iconic ROCK MUSIC ever made, to new generations world wide!!! We Are The Champions is known in EVERY corner of the world....they all were so IMMENSELY TALENTED.....❤❤❤❤
I love that Queen carries on though I dearly miss John and Freddie. Adam is incredible as was Paul Rogers and they have allowed new generations to be able to experience the spectacular production and outstanding music that is a Queen live performance. There is nothing like it, there never has been and there probably never will be again once Brian and Roger stop with the major tours.
Brian, Roger and John can make a “new Queen rock band” that can continue for eternity. Only they can anoint who is in the band that can carry on for Queen. Only can John, Brian and Roger can set the rules for the band replacing members that retire in the future. Queen forever!

I love Freddie Mercury. But life goes on and Queen as well. Adam Lambert is a phenomenal singer. He does not try to be Freddie, but rather is his own style with a voice that just kills it so good!!! Queen + Adam Lambert is beyond wonderful.
They are only big now because of Freddie and the release of the film Bohemian Rhapsody. Freddie was, and is, the reason for their success. Without Freddie there is no longer Queen.
They are fantastic! Now better than ever, new technology better sound and a femoral new singer! They can do better now and create new music. With the technology and Adam voice they can be the best band. I understand that Adam did not composes songs or play the piano like Freddie Mercury, but Roger and Brian are geniuses writing songs. Why they still doing the old songs, instead doing new and refreshing new songs? Queen forever!😮
Either smile, solo or as a duo May/Taylor. Then they could have proved that they had the level of the ex-Beatles. They each went on for themselves and each wrote at least one world hit. However, Brian May and Roger Taylor preferred to hide behind the old Queen Glory.
Nothing except what two mean as a group bought together, QUAL(aptly agony in my native tongue), to be able to keep Queen alive. Her music will live on though.
