Thank you so much for explaining this in plain English for someone like me that doesn’t understand technology very well. Would love to see you do videos on computer trouble shooting or basic things the average home computer owner should know about the operation of their PC or technology in general. It’s your teaching style and delivery of your content that I know would appeal to an entire audience of people that grew up before technology was prevalent in our lives, who struggle with it and would likely embrace it more if the understood it better. Thanks again!
Do you have any good recommendations? I'm looking for a laptop good for my uni studies and storing files but also for some occasional gaming and streaming
Sultana Chowdhury you don’t need anything too fancy for storing files and occasional gaming. I’d recommend and i5 processor and anything above 256 GB of storage. You may want 8gb or ram. I don’t know how much you game so weather you want a graphics card or not is up to you.

Thank you for explaining things so simply! I'm actually looking into getting a desktop PC, but I still learned a lot in the CPU and RAM portions. I definitely run into an issue with my programs slowing down and freezing on my laptop, so now I know what I need.

Thank you so much I have taken a sheet from a paper and a pen to write the definations like CPU, clock speed, Ram, and the hard disk parts + other comparisons After getting the information I needed, I will be able to choose a few then buy the overall good laptop for me
Thank you for clearing up the confusing list of component names, numbers and symbols that everyone assumes I know. I didn't have the foggiest idea what they were referring too. It's such a relief to finally get it.
hi, im a very well educated person when it comes to technology. and I'm just here to tell you that the way you explain things are very simple, making things very easy to understand. you are explaining to a way that would make sense for people who knows very little when it comes to computers. most people will only explain to a way THEY would understand but not for others
Thank you for explaining these things, and for also going on a website and just talking through what you are seeing on their page and what you just talked about. I appreciate that! You were VERY HELPFUL
I have viewed several computer explanations and I'm not computer savy. I loved your video. Gonna purchase my computer now. Thank you so much for helping this granny.
I love this!!! The only video with comprehensive educational explanation!! All other places throw in the words but do not properly explain what means what or give examples
Phenomenal!!! Literally the best video regarding this subject! Very helpful and easy to understand about specs to make an informed decision. Thank you!!!
As far as my knowledge of computers, i am far from a know it all but I am a big fan of learning. Your video was great, seriously ! You covered the topics very well and left the chatting to a minimum. That is what I look for in a TH-cam video and you were awesome. I am going shopping for a new laptop today and I feel much more comfortable after watching your video. Great job !!!!!!
I really prefer your way of making videos. No flashing images, snap, crackle pop gyrations, jokes etc. Just the info I need without wasting time. Thumbs up!
Your presentation is outstanding. Very clear and concise. You get a little too fast at times for this old man but no big deal. "Fray" had a great --TIMELINE reply. Thanks.
Loved this! I've purchased computers for years and this has been the easiest for me to understand. I totally bought the wrong computer last time. Next time, I'm prepared!
Thank you. When you're older (old) understanding and figuring this stuff out is mind boggling. You made it all understandable even for someone who's technically challenged. Again...thank you.
Kathryn, with the i9 becoming more mainstream, and the recent M1 chips' off the charts performance, amongst other things, we need an update on this. Happy New Year!
Young Lady, this was very well explained compared to other online videos. It helped understand specs; the conflict I have is that I have an iPhone but I’m shopping for a windows laptop; I use Excel spreadsheets, powerpoint, word, and Microsoft teams for work. I would love to know which windows laptop would be compatible for iPhone user.
this video was super helpful to me, you really broke it down so it was simple and easy to understand. I love how you went through the apple products and evaluated the different options. I'm looking for a mac rn and I felt like you were with me helping me out!
so to clarify and correct some points made in the video 1- any CPU weather i3 ,i5 or i7 "15watt CPUs" consumes about the same amount of battery life, 45watt CPU in the other hand have a shorter battery life regardless of the "i" model. (you can check the CPU "wattage" from intel website) 2-SSDs are much faster and preferred and will make huge difference in the performance of the computer 3-gamers dont like macs because they do not offer the same performance as windows in gaming even with the same hardware (GPU ,CPU) 4-you dont need a graphics card to run a higher resolution monitor THO this video is indeed very informative and i believe it covers the basics very well , keep up the good work :)
Thank you so much! I learned a lot about how to shop better and smarter for a laptop. I always thought RAM was the most important thing but NO, that's not what my need is! Thanks again!
Great video. I did hoped you focused on best computers for programmers while in school or business. Also, maybe a comparison between AMD and Intel, but good info for most people.
Thank you for making this easy to follow. All this information is why I’m afraid to buy a PC, because I’m afraid that getting a good deal on a PC means I’m going to end up with a crappy computer. But now I know what to look for. Thank you again.
