Is there a reason I don't know about, using booleans instead of just the pocketing? There are several times I hoped you pocketed but you just cut :)

I rarely combine PartDesign with other workbenches because it tends to make the history a bit confusing for me (just for me). And also the sketch in Partdesign can not be moved or rotated in Draft, you have to deactivate it first.
Using boolean I can directly use the transform tool or scale tool for the cutter and the object I want to cut. But in the end, you can use the pocket if you feel comfortable with it!

You can move or attach the sketch directly in the data. No datum plane in part wb.
