The answer is Burrow. I don't care how amazing Allen looks in the playoffs, he has yet to show that he is more of a threat than a healthy Burrow. The Bengals beat the Chiefs in the playoffs, the Bills and Ravens fold every time.

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills have had THREE opportunities to beat KC in the postseason and they haven’t done it ONCE. Every single opportunity was an entirely different situation. Allen played his heart out in the 13 second divisional game but the bills defense wet the bed. The Bills lost their other road playoff game against the chiefs. So everyone and their mother was BEGGING for the bills to have the home field advantage and for the game to close out with Allen having the ball in his hands…well everyone got what they wanted and guess what…same result, an L against the chiefs. I don’t want to hear diggs and his misread on the open pass where he beat coverage. Allen had other opportunities during the final drive where he didn’t make the right reads and tried forcing passes to covered WRs…even took a shot at a money ball to try and put the dagger in them showing he didn’t learn from the 13 second game and that you don’t give mahomes and KC time left because likely they WILL beat you. Burrow on the other hand has quite literally played behind a HISTORICALLY bad oline in both of his postseason runs and still made it to a SB, beating KC in arrowhead down 18 and went right back to the AFC Championship game against them where admittedly he didn’t play his best football but he still went back to back. Allen has yet to beat burrow and cinci. They were gonna lose the Hamlin game, they got cooked in the postseason and got cooked again against Cinci and an injured burrow. Burrow is 5-1 against Mahomes and Allen combined. 2-1 in postseason games against them. Allen on the other hand is 0-4 against Burrow and mahomes combined in the postseason. Stop it. Stop the cap. This Mina chick hasn’t got a clue. It’s Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. I don’t want to hear about Lamar and the ravens either because despite Burrows lack of success in the regular season….postseason is what matters and the current bengals under burrow have shown to be the better more competitive team in the postseason than Lamar and the ravens. Lamar is 2-4 in the postseason, 0-4 in games where his ELITE defense doesn’t hold the opposing team to under 14 points. The ravens under Lamar in the postseason average a measly 16ppg and Lamar and company couldn’t beat mahomes/KC with home field advantage and their defense shutting them out in the entire second half. Chop it up however you want…the bengals since Burrow has been under center has made more AFC championship games, and SBs than the bills, ravens and all of the other AFC teams combined aside from KC and they’re the ONLY team to beat mahomes/KC and it was with all the odds stacked against them. KC had home field advantage, double digit lead, tyreek was still on the team and they won. Idc bout excuses. The answer is Burrow and cinci.

The question is which QB has the highest individual talent to outperform Mahomes in the playoffs. Allen has played above or at Mahomes level the last two times they played. His defense has only forced 1 punt a game on average the last 4 playoff losses and has given up 33.5 points. So yeah the Chiefs beat the Bills but Josh Allen showed up and he balled out and did so in the clutch too. The Chiefs beat the Bills, but Josh Allen did more than enough to win the game.
On the flip side Burrow gets worse in the postseason. Even the one time the Bengals beat KC he had 60% completion and an interception. Then in the second half and OT he produced 1 TD. That's terrible to be a "top 3 QB who beat Mahomes" and you threw 1 TD in the entire second half and OT. His defense played at a godly elite level and gave him a win where he looked average at best that day and anyone who remembers watching it remembers Cincy's defense being incredible that game. This was also his problem in the super bowl he put up one TD in the entire game and he is supposed to be the most top level of elite? Why do you think most Chiefs fans that really watch the games are more concerned about Buffalo than any other team in the NFL when the playoffs start lol.

Bills defense vs chiefs in playoffs those games: Allowing 34.5 ppg.
So Joe Burrow scored less points, moved the ball less, turned it over more, and luckily his defense came through and bailed him out. These stats are literally not even close. If they swapped teams the Bengals blow out the Chiefs both games and the Bills don't even get close both games. The Bills loss in the 13 second game they scored 2 more times than the Bengals did when they won. I don't understand objectively how you watch the games and come to any conclusion that Burrow was better in the playoffs than Allen in the Chiefs games.

People in the comments down on Mina but just this past playoffs Josh played by the best of any QB in the playoffs vs the Chiefs. His defence just played the worst of any Chiefs opponent, I mean KC were scoring TDs in like 60 seconds after Allen would finish a 10 minute drive.
That being said, he’s now 3-1 vs Mahomes in the regular season but 0-3 in the playoffs. In those games the Bills are are allowing an average of 35.6 PPG vs 20.75 in the regular season. It’s clear Sean McDermott cannot ever prepare his defence for any major game vs the Chiefs.
Thus Allen is no real threat to KC unlike the Bengals who’s defence actually gets better vs KC.

If you’re coming from a team aspect then you’d want Burrow. If you’re looking at from an individual aspect then you’d want Allen.
Joe definitely hasn’t been getting carried, but it’d be disingenuous to act like the Bengals defensive gameplans vs. Mahomes haven’t played a big factor as well. What hurts Allen’s case is that no matter how well he does it never seems to be enough, by hook or by crook they’ll find a way to lose.

burrow and allen are the only logical options. burrow is the only active quarterback to have beaten the chiefs in the playoffs and I give allen the pass because his teammates sell him out a lot in the clutch. guys like stroud aren't even eligible for this conversation since he never played mahomes in regular season or postseason and lamar is a playoff choker.
I would pick burrow because when he's on the field, the bengals have this unlimited confidence and they are consistently pose (the 2021 afc title proves it). there isn't a team more quarterback dependent than the bengals. they play a lot better on both sides of the ball. on the other hand, the bills team as a whole isn't really posed whenever any critical moment gets tough for them. they be constantly losing their composer on the sideline.

Allen's issue is not that he doesnt perform in the big games, he can throw the TDs- the issue is he makes too many errors in the big moments. Burrow on the other hand is like Nikola Jokic, he had nothing and went to a terrible team but has elevated everyone (and Burrow has never played with a top 15 defense unlike Allen), he has been successful but needs to win the SB to get over the hump and get into the all-time conversations.
The Burrow-Allen was settled when Burrow went to Buffalo and absolutely destroyed the Bills in their home against a defense that was better quantitatively that season, and Allen was completely neutered. And the other aspect is that the Bengals' bend dont break defense might be built perfectly to play the Chiefs.
