- On the 12th of March 2014, Celtic Thunder singer George Donaldson passed away :'(

I knew George through work.....I was his Union Rep and then his Foreman. We had good times together in a place we both disliked immensely. I knew George was a singer but never knew he was known all over the World. He came to my Silver wedding and sang a couple of songs .....I was Blessed to know him. Privileged to spend time with him and see that smile on his face. I come on You Tube every once in a while just to see and hear him.
George lives on in all who knew him.

George was exactly 1 month older than my brother whom I lost to Brain Cancer.... Something always told me that George was one of the Most humble of a person Sadly I never got to meet any of the Celttic thunder band due to where I live in Lancashire in the UK. But fell in love with them drom as far back as 2015 ish Just wish I had the oppertunity to have met George
he has not died his music lives on in celtic thunder for as long as people listen to them xx my dad was scottish and died when i eight he knew james stewart and he has never died in my eyes my grandad was irish my dad said i had celtic blood he my dad could do the sword dance , and play bagpipes my dad died i beleive as he could see being seventh child of a seventh child ive got some of the powers i feel and sense things . george has gone anywhere i think damion would feel him the most magsxxx
I came across George and Celtic thunder only this year but when I listen to his amazing voice it feels like I have known him/them all my life. His music and charisma will live on in my heart for as long as live. Love that beautiful smile. Miss and love you George. RIP my friend. 🙏🙏❤❤

I was sad to hear George Donaldson passed away. I really enjoy watching him in Celtic Thunder, a great singing group and great voices. It is different without him and I do miss that. They were wonderful. RIP George Donaldson! Keep up the beautiful music Celtic Thunder.
I was exploring on my laptop ten years ago and I came across the strapping bonnie laddies. Once I heard them sing I was totally hooked. So when I'm at a house cleaning I listen to Celtic thunder. It's sad about George. He'll be missed but not forgotten. 😢❤
The whole team were brilliant and I am sure the boys miss him very much as do I. RIP

went to a Celtic Thunder concert performance right after he died not knowing he had passed. Cried the whole way through. I had it listed on my bucket list to hear him in person. Now it's to late. Never put things off or it will be to late for you too.

I met met Celtic T on my phone, Utube years after George left us. I was moved when he did Birds without Wings with Damian. CT is one of my favourite groups. Sorry to be naive, I watched their videos love there singing, you always see some of the singer come and go not thinking that George pass away, RIP.

This was a shock I had no Idea he died the same year both of my parents were killed in a Car & Transport truck crash. Wow, he was way too young. So sad.! RIP George Donaldson!

I lost my own husband the same year and I never forget him and I can tell you my granddaughter wait for I have to play the song for her maybe everyday the song is I will walk five hounder miles. So his memory hose on.💐❤️📯📯
