I used the tongue scraper that has gauze on the end for my little one, got them on Amazon. He’s 2 weeks older than Veyda so it’s so fun to watch her grow too! Also for those band aids our nurse recommended soaking them with baby oil and they came off beautifully !

Aw you guys are so cute about Veyda's shots. Babies sometimes feel the effects after -- at times they even have fever and need meds, so her crying was pretty normal.
A warm wet gauze or qtip scrape everyday 2xs a day helped my son with the white milk residue. Just consistency and eventually you see it clear up and not be sooo white 👌🏼
So I had a wholeass routine for shots when my kiddo was little. Before going to get the shots I’d give her some Tylenol or Motrin, after getting home from the doctor I’d give her a warm bath and give her more Tylenol/Motrin when the time was due(usually every 4 hrs) this would help SO MUCH!! The bath helped relieve the pain and she’d sleep so good
when they get their baby shots you can always give the recommended amount of baby tylenol for the pain and a lavender bubble bath will always help. of course given no allergies.

They were supposed to let you know that after the babies have their shots you give them a little Tylenol to relax so that they won’t feel the pain because they feel the pain that we feel when we get shots and their little body can’t tolerate that so much so you know the next group of shots you might need to give Tylenol I did it for months and then a little sponge bath when they come home and a little rub down with some lotion like a massage and they were sleep so comfortable check with the doctor .. thanks for sharing 🤗
Hey guys I love yall ...such a beautiful family... well let's see I have 4 children all grown now and now I'm a first time grandparents of a beautiful little girl... she had a little thrush on her tongue as well I told my son to get a clean baby cloth wet it with warm water, wrap the cloth around his index finger and do circle movement on her baby tongue, he did it for about a week and it came off... For her next round of shots, have infant tylenol ready. It worked wonders for my baby at all of his vaccination shots. It helped with pain after getting shots. This also helped with fever that my baby got after the shots. Also I noticed the whiteness on her tongue. For our baby, we used oral swabs or a lint free towelettes dipped in sterilized water and just scrap the tongue.
I always used a soft wash cloth with warm water with your finger & gently scrub like brushing her tongue every night & it’ll eventually will get lighter.
What I remember using back in the day was glycerin. I dabbed it on a wash cloth and tried to wipe it off. It didn't move completely but it improved. Plus babies drinking water too helps. Just Occasionally they can drink some warm water.
For the baby’s tongue, just wipe it off with a wet rag and the help of some glycerin. Glycerin is sold otc and it doesn’t taste bad. Also wipe her gums and her inner cheeks. It’s just food residue (the same way adults have to brush our tongues), but it is a perfect breeding ground for bacteria and it could get stinky 😷 cleaning her mouth everyday is good. Also glycerin is optional, it just helps clean off the built up milk much easier.
