I had a baby almost 4 months ago. EVERYTHING you said, from the melt down, a simple ham sandwich, the struggle to breast-feed, sleepless NIGHTS, "sleep while you can ", can't remember when you showered last, it's totally normal! Keep up the great work, you both are amazing parents. Ask friends and family for advice, and keep pushing through. Chia, you are a champ! Congrats Momma, she's beautiful!!! Breastfeeding is no joke.. its hard! Remember, giving formula is also an option. No shame in doing BOTH!!! Don't feel guilty for taking a good 30 min shower. SELF CARE IS KEY. Whether it's as simple as starting your skin care routine again, or taking a drive, just to leave the house. Till this day, we still hop in the car and take a drive just to get out of house. Being that we're still in a pandemic, & we can't take baby out in public... a drive through a drive thru did the trick for me. Enjoy every second of your little one, because time TRULY FLIES BY!! Congratulations again, to both of you! Shes a beautiful baby girl!

I'm 34 and I have 4 kids, 16, 14, 10 & 9 and my advice to you is take it day by day. Do what works best for YOU as parents, and don't dwell to much of not knowing everything, you won't. 16 yrs later and I still don't. Yes you'll cry and get flustered, trust me, us moms still do. It's okay, you'll make it through. And most importantly, TAKE A MOMMY BREAK !!! Even if it's just shopping alone, grabbing a coffee or just a short drive around the block. You DESERVE it and never feel bad for doing it.
I'm so happy for the both of you, I've been watching you two for years. Your daughter is gorgeous and I'm excited to see her grow. Take care of yourselves, love one another and stay safe. 🥰

It’s pretty common to struggle with breastfeeding until about week 2. Around that time you will notice it starts to get easier and less painful day by day. Keep watching videos about latching because someone is going to tell you the trick/tip you have been missing. It’s so hard. So worth it. (Also no shade on bottle babies)

Doesn't help in the moment, the exhaustion and overwhelm is so real, but it's nice to have some sense that you're not an outcast or exception to the chaos (and amazingness) that is baby mama/daddy life. If you need to just stop and take a bite to eat or use the restroom. I promise the baby waiting an extra 20 minutes will be ok. She can sense when you're frustrated and it will take longer to latch anyway. So if you need a cpl minutes to regroup dont be so hard on yourself and take those minutes. But you dont need any advice you both are beautiful wonderful parents!!

Congrats! It’s going to be a while before you get your sleep back. If you’re feeling sleep deprived you haven’t met the worst yet. I literally thought I was going to die from sleep deprivation when I had my son. Just remember to take care of yourself in the process and pay attention to your mental health. Cheers!

Girl I just wanna let you know that I had a baby a year ago and everything that you’re feeling is completely valid and everything is hard at first because you don’t know but I promise you as time goes on you learn and it becomes easier and easier especially with breast-feeding breast-feeding was something that I struggled with I actually quit breast-feeding for like a week and I missed it so I started up again and I was able to continue breast-feeding and I’ve been breast-feeding for a year now and sometimes it is hard for them to latch but you just have to stay calm and be patient because I would start to panic too because my daughter would get so upset because she was hungry but just know that it all takes time and you’re doing great

This is the reality of being a mom. You don’t know how many poos I took with a baby and sick toddler in my arms. Being a parent takes a different kind of patience. You two will figure it out, once you find your routine it will be a walk in the park and just when you think you got it a new obstacle will come your way but you got this!!
