Here in Australia we have a railway company called SSR u can regularly find locos from the the 50’s through to the 90’s regularly hauling trains, always a good sight

Nice catch man! You are lucky that you live near that subdivision because in Southern California I usually see boring gevos, some boring commuter trains, and rarely any heritage units or even any foreign power. Yeah it’s that disappointing unless you get extremely lucky.

That's actually the same train I saw (and captured a video of) on Sunday (7/7/24) near St. Paul, MN.
Mainline standard cabs in 2024 are always such a treat. Even if it’s elephant style and a short train, it’s still nice seeing them pull good sized trains.

The dinckley sub, the cinckley sub, the rinkidydinkidyhinkley sub division, the finkley sub (the subdivision is spelled wrong I think)

What Canadian Pacific thinks we want, merger between Kansas City Southern and Canadian Pacific with odd paint scheme for merger. What we really want, standard cabs that lead their trains and less gevos.
