Bar Rescue and Pawn Stars are my two favorite TV shows. This video was very powerful to me because I get to see Taffer and Harrison in one room having a conversation. Great video. Thank you for the content.
That's the thing about it I love watching Rick because the honesty combined with knowledge and he has a heart and somehow he has an innocence about him that is appreciated. I'm watching reruns on TH-cam with my 10-year-old son and we are both learning so much. My 10-year-old has a mind for things like what he sees on the show.
John , OUTSTANDING podcast !!! Have watched BOTH Your shows from the start !! Love how much you BOTH Love this country and how you have to WORK hard to get what you want !!
The baby bottle thing is the reason why guys like Rick are successful he instantly thought about a business opportunity that’s something ur born with not something that is easily learned. When Rick said a customer came in that went to other shop they didn’t take it but he did. You need to know more than your competitors, be very honest and that’s a huge thing with my auto repair business I get customers that tell me they had their car at 3 shops but the shops couldn’t figure it out or they don’t know how to do the work but they come to me and I can help them so they become my customer. Also I get customers like one recently that were told they need a radiator for 500 bucks I look at the car and it needs a 2 dollar clamp the customer is super happy I was honest and they become my customer for life. Most shops would have installed a radiator but not me I’m honest. I know that it’s a slower growth being honest but I also know that this is how I will grow my customers trust which means so much more!
I hope your business is doing well, as a mechanic myself I admire your honesty, because most other people would try and take advantage of the situation.
If Rick didn’t have a library or the city was bankrupt and the library boarded up and he only had a bike he would be selling bikes for a living making a low income paying taxes living in the Midwest hoping to retire someday.
Very true brother.. I also I think it’s amazing that all the advice rick gives to kids at troubled highschools is the complete opposite of everything he did at a young age.. Rick became a parent extremely early.. he had Corey at age 18.. Rick did not receive any higher education nor did he value highschool itself.. and most importantly he absolutely did drugs.. it’s not even a bad thing..but. everyone beats up on Chumlee for getting caught with Meth, but I’m pretty sure, a lot of people in the Vegas area.. and the family/ friend group/ business were heavily into it over the years.. especially when they were younger.. allowed them to work long hours.. work all night long. Stay energized/ focused/ on their game. I know you learn from your mistakes perhaps + the environment has changed.. but still.. rick and his family worked extremely hard but also had a bit of luck getting rich off the show... they were really well off even before pawn stars.. they owned other businesses like restaurants.. but after getting on TV is when they really got wealthy.
Great Interview ..
Pawn Stars after all the years
is still a fun show to watch
I need this episode framed plus it takes a lot of space in the store

Some one needs to find a complete collection of that book series he watched nice condition and go in his store to sell to him personally
It takes a special kind of person to run a pawn shop
I worked for Cash America and absolutely HATED it
I can't wait to see an episode of Bar Rescue with Jon Taffer featuring Gordon Ramsay that's gonna be epic.

Let Rick speak
If Rick didn’t have a library or the city was bankrupt and the library boarded up and he only had a bike he would be selling bikes for a living making a low income paying taxes living in the Midwest hoping to retire someday.
Rick. You need to hit the gym 30 minutes a day. Love ya man.
I want to know which physics books Rick read

He away has the Vikings bracelet on
The advice Rick gave to students… he didn’t do any of that hahaha
Dropping truth's!
Bugs the shit out of me when someone is interviewing a person I LITERALLY CAME TO HEAR FROM and the continually interrupt them. Plz stop
Love Pawn Stars you're the best Rick I just get a little irritated when when Chumlee and Corey mess with you........😁
Two great shows and good men. My 3rd would be Dog Chapman. I love "toxic masculinity."
Oh, forgot Dr. Nowzardian too.
What happened to that stretch arm strong head?????
So Nobody is going to bring up the fact that this guy consistently is comparing himself to someone who is vastly more successful than himself.

I wouldn't say ricks more successful than John taffer look into his achievements then comeback and tell me if uiu still believe what you said
Nobody is perfect
He is also extremely successful.
Rick's real voice sounds pretty similar to his dubbed voice in Brazilian Portuguese.
Demais né ? Também achei!

So much nicer than he is on Bar Rescue! 😂
Ricks body language is stuck on negotiating
