This is an accumulation of events that have been set forth in 2020-2021. We had a great defensive mind in alumni Jahmile Addae wasn’t promoted (deservingly) to DC over Jordan Lesley. He then left (taking with him numerous transfers) from Tykee Smith in his short stint at UGA then ahkeem mesidor and Daryl Porter to Miami. Neal Brown is so loyal that he makes terrible front office decisions. He needs to be fired because of his incompetencies in management. With Addae WVU had a top 10 defense, without him we are left with his “friend” Jordan Lesley’s incompetence.

All the fans want a well established coach and not another G5 coach or coordinator from another institution, you can only do that with money. With revenue sharing on our doorstep, WVU doesn't have the money to pay Brown's buyout, a lucrative contract for a well established coach, and the upwards of 23m for revenue sharing. Until Brown's contract dwindles, it's not realistic to fire him because for the type of coach fans want, we can't get by paying two coaches and while trying to hit the Rev sharing cap.
I would say you'll start seeing transfers if we lose to Kansas for sure. Nicco Marchiol probably should transfer if he can find a starting spot somewhere I agree. I just don't see Neal Brown been here next year. Nicco Marchiol would be under a new coach and a new program and they may not go with him.

Neal & Coaching staff preseason: we have an athletic and awesome secondary and should in top 25. Neal & staff after first 2 games: everything in the secondary is fixable and our defense was intentionally basic, relax everyone. After the Pitt game: ok yeah we suck and the players we hyped up are playing terrible and we have nobody else to put in either. These guys are a joke ! All talk! Neal & Coaching staff preseason: we have an athletic and awesome secondary and should in top 25.
Neal & staff after first 2 games: everything in the secondary is fixable and our defense was intentionally basic, relax everyone.
After the Pitt game: ok yeah we suck and the players we hyped up are playing terrible and we have nobody else to put in either.
