That high-flying ramp at 6:17 is probably one of my favorite highway ramps in Tarrant County. I've only driven it a couple of times given the expensive tolls, but as an isolated fifth-level ramp, the view is amazing. However there is one huge fault with the freeway design just west of there; the mainlanes between 6:25 and 6:33 likely have one of the worst bottlenecks in the entire DFW area. I've got into traffic way too often when I drive that part of I-820 going westbound. There should have been three general purpose lanes westbound up until the TEXpress Lanes entrance at Rufe Snow (at 6:47), with the left lane becoming an entrance-only lane to the express lanes.
Drivers treat the 75 mph speed limit on the toll lanes as the MINIMUM speed limit. I remember driving 80 mph for several miles on the toll lanes AND I STAYED IN THE RIGHT LANE.
2:15 This sentence made me curious so I counted on Google maps, Dallas has 12 stacks within its city limits, and Houston has a whopping 21, freaking crazy, I had no idea Houston had that many, this coming from a Dallas native. However I bet DFW as a whole has more stacks than the whole Houston area, I didn’t feel like counting anymore though lol
Yep 30.00 plus in tolls is a lot, but you made it worth watching it.

It’s insane how much effort you put into the videos! How long does it take you to edit?
Thank you! It usually takes around 5-7 hours to edit my videos.
