This just makes me want a new Ranger even more now....I’ve looked at the Tacoma and the Ranger....love the blue FX-4 package. This video is pretty sweet too....that Ecoboost turbo whistle is everything 😎💪🏻
I live in western Norway, got a Suzuki Grand Viagra XL7 and trust me; this is the first and last! I love the mech diff though and looking at a Ranger for my next car.
Today I was having fun in the snow and ran over a boulder 😭 it was at lodged under my rear tire so I spun cookies until it came out. I didn’t see any fluids I did break off some fender flare hopefully that’s it on my 02 f150
I have a 2021 Ford Ranger Fx4, when driving on 4H, snow, 2 inches of snow.... is it normal for to turn hard, slipping? I seem have to make large turns in parking lots or intersections?
What kind of Ford Ranger is this? Cause in your Ford Ranger review you mention that there are different models of the Ford Ranger such as the XLT, Lariat, and FX Ford package. Which one is this truck and also what truck is the truck you used for when you did the Ford Ranger snow traction test?
This is a Lariat trim level, with the new Rangers there are 3 trims XL,XLT, and Lariat they each have their own packages which in this one the Lariat has the FX4 off road package, with a tow package as well, you can get the FX4 package in an XLT and XL if you wanted, depending what trim you like and budget
bees knees I personally like the XLT, I have the sport 4x4 package, you can get the FX4 package, but once you get the lariat you get push button start, leather seats and more options mine was around 37k msrp but a fully loaded lariat around 43-46k
Awesome video, great fun indeed. Getting a 4x4 Fx4 F-150 this year and I wonder how it will compare to the Ranger, in snow/offroad. Same? Better? Worse?
hello there ive never driven a 4 x 4 pick up before. I won a ford ranger xlt here in toronto Canada. My question is can you use the 4x4 feature all the time in the snow? should i get snow tires or keep the all season? thanks in advance
Ranger has better crawl ratio, break-over angle, and departure angle than the Tacoma. The Tacoma has better minimum ground clearance, approach angle, and axle articulation.
I wouldn't want to pay for turbo issues in 4-5-6 years. This engine just won't last has the old v6s. At least if they could offer a regular engine without turbocharged
@@SongsforSpace fasle! Alot of ppl at my old job used to have alot of issues, especially towing things everyday. Always good on papers, in reality and on long terms not sure. V8 or nothing!
i would have bought one by now but holding out for a better back seat. That horribly designed mess is not even good enough for my dogs to ride back there safely.
How do you have fun in the snow with your 4x4? Send us your video we could do a compilation of the win and fail of it! :)
I can’t lie that turbo whistle sounds amazing
@Ming Bing 17 l
Oh yeah big time
the capability of this stock truck is amazing, better tires and you could probably tackle almost anything
Well if it had better tires it would kick ass.
Just had a 2 inch leveling kit and better tires installed in mine, and it can pretty much tackle anything now. I love this thing!
Ordered mine yesterday, don't think I'll be disappointed !
the ad for when its for sale: lady driven, garage stored, never seen mud or snow :p lol
And juste like new!!

The whistle goes woo wooooo
jjmoyer__78 lol same reason why I’m watching this video not sure what to get
I love my ranger and I love smoking cocky tacoma drivers with it it's the best to see the look on their faces as I blow right by them.
That has to be a lease..... 😂😂

That darn muhder nature
You are a maniac amigo! Looks like a lot of fun!
just a little bit :P
Just got a 2019 Lariat with FX4 package. Waiting for the Indiana winter!!

Oh now... that's why we clear our test field every summer of rock and boulder.

Kinda makes me wish I had gotten 4x4 instead of 4x2.
At least you can enjoy good mpg with 2wd

How many inches of snow do you think that was?
Looks like fun, if it was mine, I’d put little bigger tires on, with a two or three inch lift kit
Fun Stuff!! I was expecting it to throw a check engine light or go into limp mode!! Good on Ford!!!
Never happened ! This little Ranger is a real soldier!
Do you do this in 4wd high or 4wd low?
It can handle it in high
Neilg G 4wd low is mainly only for crawling
What an absolute blast ! Need some worthy tires .. the truck rocks !

I had one. Definitely worse
I got an old 01 but no snow ❄️ in Seattle yet
Update we got snow ❄️🌨️,22/ 28/21 love it.
Do we allow to stay the original Off-road A/T tire during the snow road driving without change to snow tire? I will go snowboarding in winter.
We have some mandatory date that tires need the snowflake logo. those ones didn't have the logo but it was before the date.
Good test that way suppose to be

Snow what snow .
the white stuff!
I mean to say the ford ranger walked all over that snow like it wasn’t snowing.
Drives like a true rental. LMAO
Not totally true, remember Jackass and the rental Ford Contour? :)
I feel sorry for the person that bought that truck after you beat the crap out of it. Looked like fun though.
FORD 😍
My 2004 chevy trailblazer can do that and in deeper snow!!!

Not true. These Ecoboost motors can last as long or longer than old 4.0v6 with proper maintenance.

@@maximerebelo6601 no replacement for displacement. That being said, there are a huge amount of Ecoboost with over 200,000 miles.
Du fun à revendre mon Mat. Je ne pourrai jamais faire ça avec ma Mazda3 awd :(
Bye
