A miracle, indeed. The heart survived the Romans, St. Peter, Cromwell, the priests on horseback raiding the cottage seisiuns, the pubs bought by foreigners, and so forth.
Americun here, didn't understand a word but it brought tears to my eyes. I love how smug and happy they all look! They know they kick ass, beautiful. I love it.
One of best music I ever heard... Julie seems like a queen of Kingdom of Beauty and Power of Music. The Queen that understand how importent is what they're doing, and how dangerous is to miss the perfect harmony, if they want to save the soul of the world... And smile on the end is smile of God... Listen this music is shelter and gift... Spirit of Celtic Music is immortal...
I am form Poland, but those songs are absolutely beautiful. I started listening to Celtic Music from Celtic/Folk Metal. Now I am looking for more of traditional celtic music, and Julie Fowlis is more than I wanted. Her voice is amazing, and tune wakes something in my soul. Wonderful songs.

Alba & Eire together, like a spree of raw ocean, like the best blend of whiskies/whiskeys... wow these girls are so talented! greetings from far away Patagonia
Half my family tree is from Scotland, Ireland and Wales, none from England. Celtic music touches my emotions. I just wish I could get it on my car radio. I appreciate people like Mrs Fowlis, etc, who haven't sold out.
Why not just connect your phone or tablet to the car, assuming you can, and that you have unlimited data… I know not everyone feels the need to. But then you can simply listen to whatever you want, via TH-cam, Spotify, whatever.
I've listened to the entire album on Amazon so many ,many times and never tire of it. Even on a stormy Scottish winter night where I live on the north west coast it makes the wind whisper not roar

I've been lucky enough to see Julie Fowlis live in concert three times. Like others who've commented , i dont know any Gaelic words, but it doesn't matter. I cant understand why, maybe it's because of my Scottish ancestry. They're all lovely tunes, sung by Julie, she is a modern wonder of music. Julie and her husband, Eamonn, are really nice people, very down to earth and very approachable and modest too.
Fantastic. one of the most entrancing performances I have ever seen. Julie Fowlis has a voice that pierces your heart. The compositions and the interaction between the musicians are pure gold.
What a wonderful gift to share with the world, but the most important thing is to give back to this beautiful culture. This language was just made for music and poetry. This man certainly had a tear in his eye listening to this. it hits you right in the heart.
I concur, a lump in my throat especially when I have a wee dram and feel at peace listening to the gifts given to my ears ;mind and heart by my fellow Celts
There are no words for how much I love this. Julie's singing and whistle playing, the harmony with Zoe, the other instrumentalists, the obvious joy they're all feeling making music together. Wonderful.
Thank you so much for sharing your blessed and poetic gifts with this world. I have been a fan for several years and while listening still find myself wiping my tears in happiness, feeling as if I am home.
Well, I held it together until Zoe joined Julie on PIUTHRAG NAM PIUTH’R, then the tears started to flow. Something about the sweetness of their combined voices and the beauty of the music calls up an emotion in me that I can hardly explain. I can’t help but love Celtic music and its effect on me. Thanks so much for sharing this amazing video…
