i hate to be that guy but you what you said in the beginning is actually misleading, ever since the armor mechanics were changed pass through parts stopped absorbing all forms of damage and only absorb bullet and canon projectile damage if said pass through is 10 welding points in front of whatever it is protecting and with that being said the damage that it does absorb is only a small percentage based on the part. so yes shoot throughs are one of the most important parts in the game to hold your build together giving it structural integrity but need to be emphasized to be used to do so and not to be used as armor in their own rightt. (i know you didntt say this but i could see how people could be mislead into thinking that using them as armor like back in the day is correct when it is not) good video regardless tho and i appreciate you giving the newer players the knowledge to go about things the right way
I demonstrated how damage goes thru the pass through parts. Not sure if you made it that far into the video or not tho. Thanks for the comment and clarification.
Awesome video, I love the mounting brackets, one of my favorite parts to build with, then the elbows. Definitely cover bumpers if you can, would be great information
I only mount weapons on one of three parts, the cabin, shoot through parts, and chassis because chassis parts also have shot through abilities. If you mount your weapons on armor pieces don’t be surprised if you constantly lose them.
The issue with shoot thru parts is that machinegun builds absolutely smear them like its nothing, fast firerate immediately negates the nice bonuses of shots going straight thru and they just melt you. Its INCREDIBLE vs shit like cannons tho where they only get shots every few seconds
Wait i thought shoot through means they let damage through and it damages whatever is behind it? Thats the main reason why i used them only as weapon mounts
@ShockRadioGaming no that was my fault, I didn't watch the entire video before commenting 🤦♂️ These parts are meant to be armoured and are just mounting points. Now I see how to actually use them. Thank you for the video and sorry for my premature assessment
"Dog" refers to the build shape and not the weapons used. Theyre cage-like builds, 99% of the time they run dracos or firebugs, sometimes they run jormungandr if they are owned by idiots basically they spam bumpers and armor to bury the weapons deep into a tunnel (the build is on wheels). the firing angles are locked so they cannot shoot behind (the cabin is behind the weapon and usually has little protection because all the armor is mostly spammed at the front these builds want to pin someone and hold them in place while trying to dps them down.
sorry to inform you but this is misleading, the parts really have "10x durability" but the rest of the dmg passes through to the next part in the bullet trajectory, so they effectively block only as much dmg as they have durability (without the 90% shoot through perk) as far as i belive when you put the shoot through part 12 blocks in front of the next part it stops mg, shotguns... so this way you can get the 10x hp but its not very useful. + remove most of the shoot through parts and mounting brackets from your build i bet you can drop 1k ps and if you optimise the rest of the parts you can get way more hp from the build.
I demonstrated the pass thru effect in this video 02:48. As for the powerscore of the build, this video wasnt intended to be a "How to Min Max Your Build" video but more to demonstrate the shoot thru parts and their perk and to show players what parts are shoot thru. Perhaps I could make a video on how to seal club in the future by lowering powerscore for easiar opponents. Thanks for the comment and additional clarification.
You have completely failed to explain the pass-through mechanic. If you want a part to pass through damage to the part behind it then they are good. But most of the time armour is better as you want to STOP the damage passing through. Frame parts is the name for pass-through parts, and they are good at increasing the elevation of turrets or extending armour into remote places.
Also, many parts like mounting bracket aren't considered frame parts but still have pass thru perk, so another point u are lying about or just misinformed about.
@@ShockRadioGaming It's a bit strong to say lying. I do agree some parts are not listed as frame parts that have the pass-through quirk, but the vast majority are frame parts.
@PHOTON-v3r so you agree frame parts are the best parts next to cabin to mount weapons? Very hard to mount weapons on an actual frame. Especially some of the bug weapons. To add, usually ur going to mount weapons on a Jackie or oma or averter and cabin with some shiot thru parts as well as secondary mounting points. Most of the time yiu can't fit all ur weapons on the cabin unless it's like a kaiju.
Are the methods behind the build not sound? I get the whole min max thing. I mean this entire build is flawed from the start based on it not having gerrida legs but would you not say the building info is sound, regardless of powerscore?
@@ShockRadioGaming the problem with using a lot of passthrough parts is that they seriously inflate your powerscore, using them to hold in place armor panels is a bad idea because you spend tons of powerscore for little actual cabin hp. A good example is the large gunmounts you used to hold armor, these are 133ps each , you dont need them to hold that armor. What you should do most of the time instead is using armor to hold armor : connect the outside piece to atleast 2 separate armor pieces and that should be solid enough. Theres a few exceptions, like when you want to use bumpers as armor, then passthrough parts can be better to use. Also keep in mind that frames have enormous ehp and passthrough aswell, mounting armor on frames (1x4 frames are excellent to mount stuff on) is a solid idea.
Im not concerned about powerscore inflation personally. Although that is something I should have mentioned. This build isnt even a serious build so i think ur looking into it a bit to deep. it was really just to demonstrate shoot through parts, This was originally a 6k build I just added a bunch of stuff to for fun after I fused everything. I usually play 18k+ powerscore with scorps, firebugs, typhoons, etc for clan battles but no one wants to see that junk :D@@Fishloops
You missed the frames and a few bumpers, it’s also worth mentioning that some of them add durability to your car, when others dont.
Good video 👍🏼
Excellent comment to add! Thank you
Cant believe ive been playing so long, and sleeping on these parts for so much, i will be trying these.
Thank you man
the first 3 & half minutes of this video are INCREDIBLY important & helpful! 👏 especially for new players!
Glad it was helpful!
as you might guess: same person, lol. I couldn't become a member on the other one but still counts, eh? 😂

Both helicopter wings are shoot through. Also the lunar wheels and wagon wheels are shoot through.
Good points! I didnt look outside the standard build parts so excellent comment!

Ευχαριστούμε!
Παρακαλώ! Ευχαριστώ για την υποστήριξη!
This is a very good time for getting parts by exchange badges, since they are 50% off or 150 badges!
Thats awesome! I totally forgot they were still discounted or totally would have mentioned! Great comment.

100% why I made this video. So many builds just have weapons mounted wherever. Thanks for the comment :D
Some bumpers have damage pass thru such as screeners. At least thats what my dad says.
Nice! Ill have to double check the bumper parts!
Yea man the screener bumpers. Extremely important!

nice video for beginers u forget the new parts the wings
You are so right! They are new and I definitely overlooked those! Thank you for the comment!

This is correct. Did I represent it poorly here? I need to make another build video to follow up on this one. Thanks for the comment.

@Bloodhound7 haha it's ok man. I like engaging with the community and doing my best to help.
We have a discord if you ever want to ask the community things or share your builds.
A melee players dream running into builds like this...demolished in seconds
Anything on wheels is melee dream lol
What are dog builds?
Basically any close range or melee builds. Shotguns or flamethrowers mainly. Think of a build chasing you down, biting your ankles lol

you forgot the vial!
The vial is in there. Towards the end tho because I certainly did almost forget it lol

@@ShockRadioGaming fair point, but most people watching this tutorial will be playing at lower powerscores.
