The Captain Sim 727 and 707 for FSX were great. If they bring their 707 to MSFS, I will get it. The one in the Marketplace right now is a steaming pile. I would probably get their 727, if offered for MSFS, even though the FSS 727 is really good.
Engine start up is 3-4-2-1. As a past 130 FE, lots of how you started had me cringe inside a little bit but understandable as your experiences were just flying in the cargo as a pax.
Look, the plane has study level textures both internally and externally, you just need to become study level in the flight systems and sounds. Some mods can solve this
Unfortunately the plane still missing some details, the cockpit exterior windows still not looking accurate as good as it's in reality, also the sound is bad
I heard a while ago that captain sim used to make really detailed aircraft with good systems. But apparently the guy who did the systems doesn’t work there anymore and now they only have modelers. I may be wrong but this is what I thought I heard
Oh man I am really on the line of buying it since it dropped to $30. Is the ramp able to open inflight? They supposedly recently updated it and added an inflight ramp mode. CS also announced they plan on adding a custom sound set for the c-130.
Hmmm is there a heading set maybe that's pulling it that way. I haven't dove too far into the autopilot since it's CaptainSim... his stuff can be sketchy
It now works off gps by using NAV with FLT DIR (normal)+ Range/LOC which is pretty neat. I just did a 303NM trip and even let it ILS then took over controls about 200+ feet away. I’m also on Xbox series x. You can always switch the FLT DIR to MANUAL and go off your heading bug. Cheers!
So a lot of the planes I have a payware so they day cost money. But there are free mods out there but the quality is not the best. Also there are payware mods that are bad too... this is where research comes in so you know what you are getting. I like MSFS it's almost limitless on what you can do.
The exterior sound effects are not there., That Beautiful Humming turbo prop engine noise isn't there., The Interior Has a little bit of that sound but that's My only Disappointment.
The FSX version was awesome. I spent many many hours driving that A/C around the world. This thing though is nothing but a half finished $$$ ripoff. Don't waste your money!

I had a Mansfield ANG livery made for PMDG 737 800F , not realistic, but still looks awesome
Nice thats cool

I'll definitely be doing some more research and trying to be more accurate in the future!
Nice vid Steve gonna watch it
I greatly appreciate it!
wow this sounds really real ohh ya
I had combat landings in a C-5 and a 747 man fun times. Love combat landings
In a C-130 is a God awful feeling. In a C-17 isn't as bad. No one warned me about it when it happend, lmao
@@StevesSimStation talking about the sudden drop and shaking and your heart going in your throat
And thinking... OMG I'm about to die!! What did I sign up for?!?!

I'll Definitely pay $40.00 If he (Or anyone else) comes out with a Lockheed P-3 Orion subhunter., This plane looks pretty good BTW.
Yes I agree with that.... hell I'd pay 50 lol if it was good tho
Unfortunately the plane still missing some details, the cockpit exterior windows still not looking accurate as good as it's in reality, also the sound is bad
I mean its Captain Sim what you expect, lol. The audio is from a King Air... wish it was the an actual C-130

This would explain a lot then.
This is available in 2024 now haven’t tried it yet to see if it works, I have the E model
Yea its in my hanger and I haven't tried it

@TheTH-camAirplaneB1-RD I'm not sure if you're on the fence probably wouldn't get it. I'm sure another dev is working on it
Mine is turning heavy to the right when i activate auto pilot. I’m on Xbox don’t understand why

Love the bird, thaanks to CS
Hopefully this means future planes will just keep getting better
Can you pop out any panels and move them to another monitor?
Unsure
remember c130 san diego base area miletery they fly over beach area
Servus,
are those airplanes mods or do you have to pay for it like a DLC? Not sure if i should buy MSFS

Uses the King Air sound from what I can tell
Does anyone know if this C-130 is VR compatible?
I'm not sure... but I know when using FSRealistic, it freaked out. So probably not promising
Get you a xbox controller for thr camera in msfs it works wonders
For some reason it doesn't cooperate with my flight stick plugged in
@@StevesSimStation go in and clear out all of the flight controls for the controller and just leave the cameras mapped.
just bought it and like it
Yea its pretty good

We all have opinions. Some people love it some don't.
Maybe it's turning over. Sorry for not watching it.
Captain sim will never get my hard earned ££ due to their past rip offs.
@scotty6346 I'd agree with that
Captain Scam strikes again!!! Buy fake planes! 😅
Lol
