To everyone wondering why it doesn’t chop, it’s the nature and the design of the motor combined with the fact that they are maintaining the VVT. You are getting a more aggressive lift and duration with the cams, but the intake and exhaust can still be controlled individually because of the VVT. The only way to get one of these to chop is if you are running VERY aggressive cams OR if you simply delete the VVT and lock the cams in place. That being said, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a near 50 hp gain from the cams alone.
Don’t kid yourselves - visually judging the cam lobe profile, it’s plenty aggressive. VVT always makes aftermarket cams with more lift and duration sound stock.

Always clean off the cam with brake clean because theres oils and chemicals and a coating they do from factory to prevent rust. always clean the cams of before install.
Nice seems like a super mild close to stock cam? My stage 3 mmr blower cams have a very nice lope today then but that’s a 2v but then again I have 1044hp lol

Question, did they change the cam gears too because of the variable valve timing and variable cam timing. Usually cars with variable valve timing or variable cam timing or both, you have to change the cam gears. Not to mention the lifters because it's a modular motor. Just wondering.

Having a modular engine is what keeps it from losing. I think its because of the cam phasers. It still has the large lobes etc but no chop.

Lope is reversion because of overlap. Sound doesnt mean more power. If cams are designed properly, they'll make the power without the sound.
I gotta say.... I didn’t hear much of a “chop chop” either. Hope there’s a significant enough power increase to justify voiding the warranty.
