I read about replacing the Chorus' diaphragm in an audio forum a few months ago but had been wondering how to do it exactly. Now your video shows me how, thanks you very much!
Since two days I also own the Chorus 1 and am very happy with it. What only strikes me, compared to the Heresy 2, is that the sound sounds a bit duller. More boxy.. Now I was already advised to replace the capacitor, but I also got the tip to modify the Tweeter exactly as you explain here. May I ask you what your experience is with this modification? Will indead the total sound be more open, less boxy.. What I experience now is that I have the feeling there is a blanket over the speaker/sound and I like to remove this. Wil this modification do the job?

Thanks for taking the time.
Thanks for this. You're right, your video takes the fear factor right out.

I own a pair of these speakers as well, I'm thinking about modifying mine
Nice! I was hoping to hear them in this video. How do they sound?
Sorry this is so delayed, but just in case you are still wondering, they sound great, very happy with them.
That's unbelievably simple. Most dome diaphragms are a pita to deal with, lol!
