Personally, I feel like HMS could've been in its own gen of Beyblade. Or at least, they could've found a way to integrate it as a Spin Gear extension. But for what it is, it’s a pretty cool concept to end the original era of Beyblade. On the note of repros, I think what BenchBlade is doing is pretty awesome. If TakaraTomy/Hasbro aren't able to recreate the older formats, leave it to the fan community to create something both cool and nostalgic. As long as it doesn't interfere with their target kid audience with X Beyblades, it should be okay.
people that want to collect them for collection purposes dont want to use them people that want to actually use them the way they were intended dont wanna pay hundreds to damage a collectors item repros are a win for everyone, the OGs are STILL rare and valuable, and now the people that want to use them can actually have fun with them
would be cool if a repro manufacturer or official manufacturer decided to make multiple gens and tried to somehow make em competitive with each other while retaining same parts that they come with. like to counter weight differences they change some previous plastic parts on releases into metal. making spin gear cores metal or face bolts metal to like balance out weights.
I have a few HMS stack rings and weight disc. I 3d printed extra bit chips and cores... Also I bought dragoon ms from Bench. And I am fully satisfied with my purchase
I'm old enough to remember when Dragoon MSUV wasn't very expensive. Speaking on part wear and breakage, MSUV had one of the best attack RC's but unfortunately it was rubber and had to be replaced after extensive use(not to mention breaking a bit protector/key or the tabs on the RC). I'm sure people were buying a lot of these and the fact that Hasbro never released it made it even more limited. I love HMS and seriously think it's the best series outside of Plastic Gen and X. I have no problem with repros as long as there is some indication that they are not original (a stamp or mold update would be great).I really wish TT would re-issue this line, even if it's only a small amount ( with a tornado stadium of course). Not going to happen though.
Reproductions are also important because many people woulnt want to use their older collections in battles. With more accurate duplicates and more durables parts in abundance that no longer be an issue if someone wants to use plastic gen stuff more freely like they used to as a kid or if any new comers want to test those older models themselves. Its an act of preservation where we get to eat our cake and keep it too.
If they gave us two stickers or the bit chip they should've given us two bit chips so we could swap out when ever we wanted. I still need to get me a Dranzer MS and Dragoon MS UV to at least have the Bladebreakers' beys. Also what we need are custom launchers from og beyblade. Also I agree on fan mades to be able to use
I was thinking of getting a Hms Dragoon yesterday but its like 400 dollars new, I wouldn't mind getting one from Bench Blade tbh so I hope their store is up soon
The Dragoon MSUV that I own has about half a gram on the Bit Protector, 14.43 grams on the Attack Ring, 14.5 on the Weight Disc, and 1.53 on the Running Core.
As much I think the X remakes are pretty awesome. I would appreciate it if TT would reproduce the plastic gen beys again as to me I love how the beys are built and structured compared to gens after it. Hell if they want to they can bring competitions for plastic gens repros if they do make them...wishful thinking.
...still my all time favourite gen. It blends aesthetic and functionality elements so well in such a compact and simple layout. It had it's flaws for sure, but since it was a radical departure from the plastics and unpopular at a time they never had the oportunity to polish out the flaws. I'm glad that the new X beys mimmic the simplicity of HSM system with a more modern take. As for the repros. Keep them coming. At least they are made with better metal parts so they don't brake as the originals did. My only complaint with the repros is that they don't always follow design 100% (weight disc is most often just a flat cutout)...:)
I've always had an interest in these, but the plastic on the AR sits too high on both Dragoon and Dranzer MS for my liking. The plastic is supposed to be more level and flush with the metal on both of them. the MFs look more on point though.
"It devalues the originals", I'd rather break and replace a repro than break an OG that TT doesn't even have the molds for anymore and will never be replaced. Replacing an OG with a repro is not valide, they're not the same, if I could afford an OG, it would not battle, so if I coukd afford an OG, I'd get a repro anyways.
Itd awesome to see some repros, i say as long as they dont weigh more than the ogs and have good backwards compatiblity they could be a great alternative for collectors and maybe even tournaments one day as parts become more scarce 😎👍🔥
I looked over my Dranzer MS running core, I see its turning white, its about to break. I bought a soare for $65 that was damaged on the ar plastic. So replaced the running core and my metal ar where mine was broke. If i battle with him, I use the ar that benchblade made me.
I honestly feel legit ones like benchblade are important due to the fact that TT doesn’t really care about the previous generation. They’re just more or less oh hey we did this. It was fun but now we’re moving onto and stuff in actuality. I do feel like they need to continue the older stuff because not everybody likes the new versions like instance there’s a lot of people that don’t like they first there’s a lot of people that like metal fight and don’t first and then there’s people like me who grew up with that loves plastic over any other generation and to just let the generation die off and not come back to it properly does proceed this and it was great and you have tons of people requesting this back and we get it back as“”remake, but that’s not really what we want. We want the legit problem so I feel like what they need to do if they’re not going to use their corporation to bring back the original product they should seek people out like bench do a great job and license so that way the product is officially licensed and then it shows that prints can be good and not unofficial crap which is obviously not the case for bench. because if I’m being honest, I’m going to buy his wolborg ms because it was my favorite one
if the company isn't supporting them anymore, then it should be fair game. there are so many obscure things that are lost to time or at the very least reach obscurity to the point the prices are no longer worth it
Imagine if beyblade was Made by tamiya instead of Takara... Tamiya make new beyblade system for new fans to buy their products but still selling old beyblade for older fans
how much did you spend on this repro? i ask just cause Benchblade's shop is closed until the 16th so i was just trying to gauge what the not full metal products cost
@@BlkHat me too I'd get dranzer Ms I already have dranzer Ms hasbro but it's to pricey old and prone to breaking it has its bit protector cracked since it's old would love for takara to make dranzer Ms playable in x form or repro.
Definetely repro paying 500 and up ridiculous for something that you can't even unbox much Less can't battle paying that much money just to collect dust on the shelf.
I mean same could be said about the series before it and beigoma before it, the only correlation is there’s metal contact points, the systems very different.
I think reproduction beys matter because... this may sound harsh, but the community cares more about it than TT or Hasbro ever would.
If only TT and Hasbro did beyblade repros like they do with Transformers every 5 seconds...

Please being more stuff from Benchblade!! Thank you!!
This is a very high quality repro, kudos to Bench Blade (and to you)! Can't wait to see Dranzer MS or other HMS beys getting repros.
He will make custom parts if you need them.
I have a few HMS stack rings and weight disc. I 3d printed extra bit chips and cores... Also I bought dragoon ms from Bench. And I am fully satisfied with my purchase
That is so beautiful, bench keeps cooking

Couple things. HMS was one of my faves, second the doors open for TT to remake these for X, third my grandma has vitiligo as well.
Another winner repro bey BenchBlade!
The bey might be called Bloody Devil MS, but I'd rather not sell my soul to get my hands on it, so repros are an absolute godsend
If the companies won't provide, the community will issue a fix.
hope and I will make a remake on bloody devil and shining god😂
Me too!
Id like to see more of plastic gen just for more colours and less fragile if anything
I was thinking of getting a Hms Dragoon yesterday but its like 400 dollars new, I wouldn't mind getting one from Bench Blade tbh so I hope their store is up soon

I have it but in pure steel. I had to save months but it was worth it.
After watching this video, I want to say props to people who had the money to collect HMS like DaimyoGT

repros and 3d prints are cool makes things cheaper for the average consumer who wants to get some of the older or more fragile things
Benchblade PRIME

😂😂😂😂

The series left everyone eager for more and still, where are they now?, type of scenarios.

holy shit HMS beys looks so beautiful
AAAAAAAA
That’s a beautiful Dragoon Blade 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲.
Very cool. I often consider getting the black dranzer ms repro instead of spending all of the worlds money on a real one 😂
I can't wait for his bloody Devil release at the end of next month
It's a great idea just for the reasons you mentioned 😊😊
I would love a phantom fox replica it’s one that would get me into hms

I was able to buy the 5 other bladebreaker beys in hms but I can't afford this one so I buy benchblade :)
Reproduction beys are great.Even if i had 500$ im NOT going to spend it on Just one bey which i won't even use so that the value dosen't go down.
Great video and awesome bey💯🔥🔥🔥❤🔥
Thanks 😁
That looks sick, everytime I go to check out his etsy store he's offline how are u getting these
You know as much as I respected the metal plastic gen beys I also kinda hate them for being part of the reason plastic gen died
if the company isn't supporting them anymore, then it should be fair game.

Do you think they took inspiration from HMS running core to the bits for beyblade x? Really has concepts from every gen...
I would also luv to see HMS x remakes by TT

How to order one?
Whats the price of this
I’m pro reproduction because I’m not spending a ton of money on the original brand
We got plastic gen reps now? 😂
(I already knew this but I wanted to make the joke I’m sorry)
Is there reprints for Dragoon MF?
Can someone please give me the link to benchblade I wanna buy this beyblade
Cuz the og ones are rare

@@nizumablader yeah, HMS, the metal fight series and beyblade x takes beigoma as the basis.
unfortunatly, the price for this specific repro (in canadian dollars) isnt worth the price
Compared to a legit one lol
