UK Boogie Woogie Club : October 2007 - "The Chicken Song"

The first UK Boogie Woogie Club meeting took place at The Exchange in Sturminster Newton on Monday 1st October, 2007.
Julian Phillips opened with a quick welcome to those present, and started the proceedings with a great little Boogie piece called "There Aint Nobody Here But Us Chickens" by Louis Jordan.
Playing with Julian are other Band Members from 'The Stuff' : Jon Neilson {Drums}, Chris Davidson {Tea Chest Bass} and Howard Meyrick {Saxophone}. Also literally lending a hand mid way through the piece is French Pianist Yvon Momboisse.

The UK Boogie Woogie Festival takes place every year over a long weekend in July, based in Dorset, Southern England. Regular Club Meetings are also held throughout the year.
