I dont think hes that naive, and this is explained in his genocide "fight". He KNOWS that fighting us is futile, we would win against them in a head on battle so he decided to try and use guilt to try and stop us. It honestly proves how (IMO) he is easily the most emotionally intelligent character in the game... he sacrifices himself to attempt to get us to genuinly try and stop fighting, while he DOES believe in us he also knows that he is the best shot the underground has at convincing us to stop genocide

I really hate how people are hating on disbelief now, it's a great Fangame, it's fun, balanced, good, emotional, and pretty much perfect, as well as being a possible interpretation of papyrus' reaction to all his friends deaths, he goes through the 5 stages of grief. Imo, papyrus belief and disbelief are pretty equal, although franks gets papyrus belief pretty high
