50 Famous Stories is on my not-to-miss list. I've been surprised at how often I've seen these stories referenced elsewhere and I can't believe I went my whole life without knowing them.
We also love James Herriot in our house. I don’t know if you do any screen time in your house but the new All Creatures Great and Small tv series is SO well done. We have been thoroughly enjoying that series as a family.
I would love to see u go through the books and tell us which ones we need physical copies and which ones would be great as audio books/ put on yoto cards for just listening to. And that goes for your book library not just curriculum. I maybe group videos on this into subjects or topics or periods. Almost like a book review\ recommendation. That would be so cool and I don’t see anyone doing it. If they do it is more like this is what I bought. Not how they were….. hope that makes sense. You’re awesome!

Right, everything is shiny when we first buy it! It's good to know what actually works and how it's used!
Do you feel it’s ok to use Ambleside online curriculum but choose to skip some of the books? I just feel it’s too much for my son
Yes! I don't know any family who can do it all!
Do you find any of their “free reads” as not to miss?
I use the free reads list for immerging readers. I see it as a lovely menu for my children to pick from.
