Hi, I apologize for this confusion. Acer had sent these laptops to us and were told afterwards that they were pre-production models. So some of the specifications and features vary. The overall function and design of the laptop is the same, but I believe the final model does have a back light 👍
Can the AC power adaptor be left plugged in after the battery is fully charged, so the laptop can run purely on mains power without damaging the battery?
Yes, the majority of the models do only have 4GB RAM. Our model has 8GB, I'm not sure if it's a region specific reason. I believe you can take Windows out of S mode but once it's done, it's irreversible.
Yes, the 15 hour battery only really works if you, well, do very little on it 😅 I'd say around 5 hours of hard use is probably more realistic! But it also heavily depends on the screen brightness and how hard you're pushing the GPU/CPU too.
Love this laptop. So cheap, ultrathin and good value. I would buy this for programming.

I mean, you can but it might possibly damage the battery over time as you're continually powering the battery 👍
use a third party app to limit charging at 80 percent, so you wont hurt the battery

Yes it should play it fine if you bring the quality settings down slightly. It played the base game of sims fine so it should be good 👍
