@VWJawbreaker The man, the legend, the Jawbreaker! Good to see ya, Gary. Loving that motor your building! Yes, while the numbers are theoretical, the travel gain with micro-stub 5x5s will be a great benefit!
Boy that guy can weld... 2 things i regret not learning when I was younger, learning to weld and operate a lathe... Damien thx for bringing us along.. Take care and as always, God Bless....
Thanks Miah, I was hoping that I don't get too preachy, or seem like some know-it-all. Just trying to communicate my reasoning! I'm looking forward to your next vid!
Great explanation of the parts you’re choosing. Nick sure does make it look easy. I’ve been welding for years on things like metal buildings and ships but you can’t tell by looking at my welds. My eyes aren’t that great any more and I tend to shake too much now which can make an ugly weld.
@DIYWilly WILLY! Yes, Nick does make it look easy. Homie is a master chief at cooking bacon for sure. Someone should make him a "Master Chef" t-shirt! Lol And, don't discount yourself. You're doing some impressive work on that build of yours!
@baiiley24 Thanks, Bailey. I'm glad the explanation came through. I'm trying to keep the chit-chat down, but I want to explain why I'm doing things. That way, if I screw something up: Y'all can warn me!
Dang!! Nick can lay some wire!! Ill need a ton of practice before I start!! Thamks for another great video!! P.S.......Thats a fancy new Binder Builder logo ya got there!!! When are stickers available?? 😂😂
@timswitzer792 Tim! Sup buddy, sorry for the short reply on DM. Don't overthink it. Starting is the best practice. My cage-to-body welding is kicking my butt currently, but it's coming along. It's solid for sure, and that's what matters. As for stickers, t-shirts, and stuff. I've been playing on Kittl with some designs. I should have pulled the trigger a couple of days ago, but I move at the speed of cash. Stay tuned!

@robertosantinni9656 Hey Rob! Good to see ya. Yes, that's the plan. He's healing up from a back thing, and I'm actively working on the cage and interior... well, actually, I'm on the mend from a Flu from hell that hit me early this week,... but I'm going to finish up the work I've been doing on the interior. That'll be the next few videos... there's a lot happening around here... stay tuned!
Hey David, thanks for asking. I'm planning to get a custom torsion tube and not run a torsion bar. I will use coil-overs for the springs and shocks which eliminate the need for the torsion bar itself. As for the tube, @BuggyBarnFabrication (they are on Facebook) makes custom torsion tubes out of 2" x .25" wall DOM that are one piece tubes and hiems bolt directly into the bar, no casting or torsion bar eliminators are necessary. Thanks for watching!
Great break down as always!
Don’t blame you for switching things up and going with the 5x5’s.

Good learning lessons today 👌🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks Sabastian! I'm glad I earned those thumbs up!
Love the learning today. Also great white board holder!!
@matts2751 Yeah, the bench vise is great for that, I just have to be careful how tight I get it
Great explanations, visual arts and overall video!

EDIT; and God bless you too🙏
@@thebinderbuilder for sure.. when you're good, you can make anything look easy...
@garyjones2582 yup. And BTW, I totally agree with you on that Lathe comment. I miss my old machinist, Paul can do anything on a lathe.
Never to old to keep your brain sharp..
Go out there n learn every day

A good way to work on your welding consistency is to practice doing some really long welds like that. You’ll start to get the tempo down.
