It’s a breath of fresh air watching someone who is an amateur like me figuring stuff out as you go, loves the vids (despite the aspect ratio. Yes I know why :) ) can’t wait for more! It’s inspiring me to just get out there and do it!
Thanks so much for the positive vibes! I appreciate it a lot. Glad you’re enjoying the videos! The next one will be filmed in landscape for sure. And yes - I think far too many overlanders on here make it look like you need tons of special equipment and knowledge to do this, but I want to show the other option - which is just heading out with minimal gear and no formal training and having at it 🤙
Another banging vid dude! Tho I think personally I'm a little soft for that rain and cold.........central america or morocco or Portugal now we are talking. Looks lovely and atmospheric tho and you mix the history in well.
Man, thanks so much! Appreciate the good vibes. My next one will definitely be somewhere warmer - I’ve had enough of the rain and cold! Glad you’re enjoying the vids - loads more coming soon
It has a limited slip rear diff, and an open front diff. I am thinking about adding a front diff lock and maybe even upgrading the rear… when money allows
Enjoyed that Reece, good content and nothing wrong with the video format either,it’s raw and original and that’s what TH-cam is all about surely..When videos become big productions and shot in high HD ,I lose interest...
Thanks Kevin! I really appreciate the vote of confidence - I agree about the raw element. The whole idea behind this trip was raw frantic adventure. I understand people’s desire to see landscape videos, but they will come in future. I will retain the rawness!
@@adamblake3252 no thanks. I know for a fact that the routes I drive are legal, and I am not getting into a debate about it with random people on the internet
Not a problem, just trying to keep anyone watching legal. By the tone of your response I assume you know that the lanes you were on were not legal to drive with motorised vehicles. Let’s park it here, I did enjoy the video!
@@adamblake3252 no - I know for fact that they are legal. And I don’t appreciate internet ‘do-gooders’ suggesting otherwise when they have zero idea what they’re talking about. I also happen to believe this attitude is ruining 4x4 in the UK. Yes, let’s park it here. I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
Just a suggestion, try to mix up your background music to link with the story you are telling. At the moment it's so repetitive it detracts from the great visuals. And yes landscape please!
@@Travel_Beasts yep. Also your call if the music is creating the mood you want. I get the feeling you're using music you love to listen to in, rather than choosing music that amplifies the emotion of the moment (sad about damage, drama will the truck make it, relaxing as you show construction, etc.). When you've got time this winter look into an online course on how to score a documentary, it'll take your work to the next level! Would love to see your channel explode to the point that it supports paying for your travels 💪💪

Ever looked at gluetread? They seem like a bit easier to manage when the wad of plugs in the sidewall starts to get a bit big.
Great video!
4x4 used as it should be, in difficult conditions! I really liked the video, it was great. Your vehicle is magnificent, impressive work done on it!
Thanks so much! Appreciate your comment. The vehicle has been a constant source of both joy and anguish 😂 Cheers!
I have no doubt about that 😂💪🏼@@Travel_Beasts
That's some wild stuff!
@@KenHicksJr thanks Ken, it’s quite the adventure out there in wild & windswept wales
❤Hey man! New van adventure TH-camr here (SUNFLOWER'S BIG ADVENTURES) Great job with your truck man, it looks truly awsome and in the best colour ❤
Hey thanks so much!! Appreciate that. Best of luck to you too 🤙
Would love to see a video about the camper built. What problems you had, how you fix it and if you could change anything what will it be?
@@karimedmundchavez I am working on a video just like that right now! It might even become a 2-part. Will release it as soon as I can

@@Travel_Beasts look forward to the next episode... best wishes from Wales 🏴
As far as I’m aware the Sarn Helen is not legal to drive in south/mid Wales..
@@adamblake3252 many sections of it are public byway, and perfectly legal to drive
I think you need to consult Trailwise.
Happy to check for you if you could send your GPX file.

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll try. You mean that I’m using the same piece of music too many times inside one video right?
