A great conversion , personally I'd have a roof rack with a roof box,solar panel and solar shower then this really would be amazing.

Very quickly, but the roof would open from the other side because you would have more height to move inside better.
True but you wouldn't be able to stand up while cooking if you had it the other way.

Very nice! Unfortunately, I have only the short version and must therefore fold the bed in length. But even the self-improvement is fun. I wish you the same with your new car of course!
does yours have any sliding doors on yours
only the ones on the right. But I no longer have the car. The tank was rusted through and a new one costs 1500€. The 40 l costs 100€. But I only had 20l because I still had gas. I didn't want to support these exorbitant prices.
I’m in the throes of researching micro-campers, and I think without doubt this has got to be the best thought-out design I’ve come across so far! Just a couple of quick questions, please: Is the gas-locker big enough to facilitate a Calor bottle? Is there an option for a diesel-fired blown air-heater? What is the drive-height (roof down?) Many thanks!
Thank you very much for kind comments, the gas compartment will take a 7kg butane or propane calor gas bottle, the ride height if memory serves is about 76 inches with the roof on top but i dont have one here to double check and as for the diesel heater we havent fitted one to this model so would have to investigate into that but there isnt a great deal of room underneath as it is so maybe not.

Wonderful camper conversion! I think that mini van in the states is called Ram ProMaster City, also made by Fiat, so this is a very valuable video. How many inches that pop-up adds to van height when closed? This looks like a solution for people who have to park in condo garages.
Grate job on the camper can you put sleeping panels in on the pop top?
It's been a while since I converted that vehicle but its possible, depends how much clearance there is between where the roof of the vehicle was and now the pop top roof.

,I have just bought a 2014 vauxhall combo van but small wheelbase .Would that be a problem like being to small to convert?
No I have converted the short wheel base before but needed extension flaps to make up the bed that's all.

dantheman 321 Thank you, do you source the vans, if so how much did this van cost? Or do customers take their own van to you. I was wondering would you just fit a pop top like the once in this video if I supplied a van to you
@@Ben-db5re HI Ben, usually the van is supplied to me to convert but I do have someone that can find quality used vans but it's difficult to give you prices as due to the spec, age and mileage it can change.
If you wanted just the pop top fitting then yes that can be arranged.

whats a 65 plate please? is it something to do with the wieght?
Its all to do with the year of registration so tells us how old the vehicle is, so 65 plate will be 2015.
